Maliah’s missing

After I paid the cashier, I am about to approach Max but I stop midway because I saw him talking to the hooded man. I try to understand what they're talking about through lip reading but the only thing that I get are ‘safe’ and ‘plan’. I went near them and their oblivious to their sorroundings because their talking seriously about a certain thing.

"Hey..." I kiss him on his cheeks that made him a bit startled.

Shock is written on Maxriel's face when he face me.

"What happened? It looks like you've seen a ghost?"

"It's nothing. I was startled when you kiss me. I thought it's one of my stalker."

"Who's the person you're talking to? Could you introduce me to him?"

"Ah it's no one. He just ask me for a direction. Let's go I'm sure you're already starving."

He carries the plastic bags that I've been holding and put it on the back of his car. Then we both went in the car and he drive towards a resto that is well-known for their home cooked meal.
