10 The Shirt

Declutturing my closet I came to realize that you can really compare a piece of clothing with a relashionship. Starting from the premise that you actually bought that shirt because you wanted to, nobody forced you. It was your own wish and you did it out of pure desire to discover a new kind of happiness and expend your love to new horizons.

Let's take it like this, if a shirt would get a little stain or if it would have a loose or missing button, would you through it away immediately, just like that, without looking back or would you try to get it in mint condition and sew that button back and get rid of the stains.

Or maybe sometimes a little stain or a missing button wouldn't do too much harm. It might bring a little uniqueness and little bit of charm or character.

I guess it also depends on the person and their priorities, their principles and values.

But I remember I read this phrase once and it went like this:"Always be kind and nice from the start, otherwise people won't believe you later when you will try to be nice".

Sometimes we have to remember to keep an open mind. Those harder to leve needed most, and most of the time your meanest friend is the one that cares the most about you.

I guess what I am trying to say is that we should forget to show a little bit of sympathy, and give people time. It is not wise to take a decision when you are angry, we should give ourselves a little time to gain more perspective and see clearer.

Are we really ready to throw that shirt out, just because we have a better replacement waiting? Or maybe it isn't even the shirt's fault, maybe we just got bored, or colder. Maybe our taste in fashion has changed or maybe the shirt doesn't fit you anymore.

In these kind of situations I don't think the best thing is to throw the blame at each other, or trying to find excuses.

I think it would be better to make things clear from the start and just put the cards on the table and face the outcoming.

Sometimes we keep certsin things just because it is really difficult to get separated like that and we try to delay that moment more and more everytime. But the harder you cling to something the bigger the pain will get when you finally part ways with it.

I guess I am no one to judge or give advices, you should know better than anyone what you really need, but just know that sometimes we have to anticipate what could happen after we take certain decision and how will that be better to handle.

You know how they say that sometimes silence is an answer too. Well, maube, sometimes the lack of a decision is the best decision you could make. Because we may tend to exagerate about your situation, and there is no problem to begin with so there is no reason to look for an answer.
