6 We are sorry

"Guys ,what was that?"Mon asks.

"That old person, was he serious.....What he don't need us any more?"Jake says filling his mouth with the last bite on his plate.

"No...he  was joking"Sid laughs.

"So are we going tomorrow?"Sam asks looking for a answer from all of them.

"Yes"They say in unison.

The next day;

Jake was the first to enter the office before anyone else.After all he had to find a job as well so the early he finishes his work the more time he has for job searching.

Beep...beep....beep

He shoves into his pocket to find his phone. The name on the screen was not expected so early in the morning. It was from the company he applied recently.

"hello"

"hello.. is this Jake Oberoi"

"yes"

"We would like to tell you that you can come for the interview that is scheduled day after tomorrow. "

"Does that mean I'm selected? "

"No but if you pass the interview, then of course. "

"okay, thank you"

By the time he finishes his call,the other four were had already arrived.

"What? why are so excited? " Sam asks.

"I have been selected for the interview. " says with a wide smile.

"Oh congrats"

"Thanks"

"What if you fail? " Sid interrupts.

"Shut up" jake says rolling his eyes.

"But you should be ready for all the circumstances"

"I'm ready. It's not the only company in this world. I have applied for others as well. "

"Just be positive"Sam states.

" Now what about Mr. Dayal?"Mon enters the conversation.

"What about him? " Jake asks.

"Remember yesterday? "

"Right... let's go to his room. " Sid says and walks into that direction. The others follow as well.

They waited outside his cabin for some time as he was in a meeting.

"Is he inside" They asked as soon as they saw Mr Loy.

"Yeah"

"Did he say anything about yesterday? " Sid asked.

"No."

"Then how is he? Any changes in attitude? Mood swings? " Jake questioned.

"No! Not at all"

"Then, did he throw tantrums?"Monica asks.

"No, and why will he do that "Loy said, quite confused by their never ending questions.

They were about to ask more but Loy interrupted "just go in and see by yourself"and walk away.

" What should we do? What if he's really angry?What if… "

"Let's go first "Mon cuts off Samantha and enters Dayal's cabin followed by everyone.

" Oh… look who's here"Dayal smiles at everyone.

"Umm….we are" Mon starts.

"You what? "

"Ahh… we are sorry" Sam says as she pokes Jake on one side signals  Sid with her elbow on the other side.

"What did you say? Sorry I can't hear you? " Dayal says as he puts his ear  much closer to them.

"Sorry" They all scream in unison.

"Okay"

"That's all? " Jake asks.

"Why? You want to hear something else? "

"No no. " Sid answers glaring at Jake.

"Come with me" Dayal orders and walks out of the cabin followed by the four.

They enter the  empty meeting Hall.Dayal locks the door and shuts all the curtains.  The four of them were confused by what Dayal was doing.

"Do you know why I was so angry yesterday? " He asks.

They look at each other but no one replies.

"I know you are confused. So let me explain to you. Take your seats first. "

They took their seats haphazardly to listen to what Mr. Dayal was going to say. It seemed as if they were college students getting ready for a professor's lecture.

"Why is this oldman so serious today? " Jake whispers to Samantha.

"Shh….Stop talking now" Monica says pulling his arm.
