17 A sudden plan

"Where did you guys go? "Mon asks.

"Just for a drive"Jake replies in place of Sam so that they don't know the real reason.

"You two, Drive! " Mon asked raising an eyebrow at Sam. Curiousity and excitement clear in her voice.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Sid asks.

"It was a sudden plan" Jake replies.

"Yeah it was a sudden plan" Sam says as she glared, at Jake.

They stared at Jake and Sam who were staring back at each other.

"Okay, now the party is already over so let us go back. " Sid says.

"Oh is it over already? " Sam says.

"Yes".Sid and Mon say in unison.

After a while they left the house one by one. Aaya was still drunk and sleeping on his sofa, while Loy slept on the floor itself. They tried to pull him, drag him but he was reluctant to leave the floor. Only Jake and Sam were there to clean up the mess.

The entire Hall was now a mess and the kitchen was even more horrible. Most of them may have come to the kitchen to get food and stuff and in their way back they threw all the used tissues all over the place.

"Who uses this much of plastic cups? "Jake says picking up a cup.

The whole place had turned upside down. Plastic cups, bottles,tissues and wrappers were all loitered here and there. Dayal being a cleanliness maniac would have blown up till now only if he was not drunk.

" I wonder what Mon was doing? "Sam collects the tissues into a plastic bag.

" Exactly. Sid can't be expected to do something, but Mon seems to considerate about these stuffs. "He agrees.

Sam was still stressed about the incident that occurred earlier. She could not resist but ask him again"Why didn't you tell them the truth, Jake? "

"Samantha we have already talked about it"Jake answers without looking at her.

"It's not going to solve the problem. We need to inform them about this. "

"What will we say to them? Do I have any contacts if the person? Do I know who it was? " Jake says and then realizes he said it a little to load.

"No.We don't have any of these, but at least they should know that you got such a call and so and so. "She states.

"Why? So that I get all of us into trouble!"

A shattering sound came from the living room and they rushed quickly there. Probably, Dayal was awake now.

"What are you two shouting for? You are too loud. "Dayal mumbles.

Sam and Jake looked at each other and they were quite embarrassed by their own behavior just now.

"You should go to your room now. " Jake says as he starts picking up the broken vase pieces.

"No... No! "

"Why? " Sam asks.

"I'm thirsty... I.. I need water. Bring me some water, you Jackey! "He points at Jake.Hes eyes still closed but could manage to speak somehow.

" Hey it's Jake not Jakey"

"It is. " He says, looking at Jake with his drunk glistening eyes.

"What the... "

Sam interrupts before he could finish "Just bring him a glass of water now"

Jake brings him water but this time he brought it in a plastic cup to make sure there was no more destruction.

"Let's help him upstairs. " Sam helps him to stand. Jake joins too. Somehow they managed to pull him up through the stairs and put him on the bed.

"We are almost done. Let us leave now. "

"Sure" Sam agrees.

"I will give you a ride"

"Thanks."

"Where is Mr. Loy by the way? I did not see him in the living room. "

"He left probably" Sam checks the room to see if Mr. Loy was there.

"How could that be. He was drunk and cannot drive. " Suddenly they hear some strange sound from the upper floor.

"Then? Oh my gosh! "They went straight upstairs to the roof. It was right. Loy was at the roof, now almost walking blankly all around the terrace.

"Hey, what are you doing here? "Jake shouts.

" What are you two doing here? " He asks back now pointing towards both of them, putting a huge grin on his face.

"Get down, now. "

"Let's take him downstairs. It's cold here" Sam says.

"Okay."

After having all sort of rubbish arguments, Loy finally agreed to come downstairs.Sam actually had to agree to bring him a cat the next day.They were adults for namesake.Eventually,the moment he saw the bed he jumped straight into it.

"Thank God" They both say in unison.

Jake checked the time once more. It was 2 already. What is the point of going home now. Also he was too tired to drive so late at night. They both decided to take a nap there itself, in case these Oldmans cause any other problem.

The next day both of them drive down together to the office leaving Dayal and his buddy at his house. Sam left the headache pills on both of their bedstands in case they needed them.However, she was sure they will need that.

It was getting slightly cold so it is better to have two cups of coffee. After all, they both had to clean the whole house last night and could not sleep.
