1 Prologue

30th Century was mankind's most prominent history, a golden age if you may.

From Medicine, to Technology, to Entertainment. Specifically in the world of games.

VR was the prerequisite for a game to at least get attention. But the Atlas Corporation had banded with a couple other famous companies to create the game of the century.

Naturally with a line up like that would succeed. It was the most highly awaited game, since the first VRI tech was used.

VRI or Virtual Reality Immersion. It was a creation everybody loved, from children to the aged everyone was awed by the fact that they could full immerse themselves in a game, though albeit depending on their helmet.

I finished reading the small pamphlet I had recieved and began un-boxing my newly bought helmet.

After a couple of minutes reading the instruction manual, I observe the silver colored sleek metal that looked like a helmet for bikers, inside was an assortment of wires and chips which were slightly visible by the sides where the air was supposed to be exerted by the fan inside so the chips wouldn't heat up and explode.

Luckily nothing ever happened like that, or if there was it would definitely not leak out.

I still couldn't believe what happened, as I eyed the calendar beside the door to my room. It didn't read 3039. It only showed the year 3024 with an encircled date on the month of March 1st. My birthday.
