Takeshi stood right in front of every one of them.

Sheila and Jun were not affected by seeing him at all. He was just another one of those monsters for them.

But, for Toshi, Raiden and especially Makie, it was a shock that could hurt the whole group bad.

Raiden immediately turned his gaze toward Makie, he wanted to make eye contact with her but she had her gaze deadlocked on Takeshi.

Raiden looked at Toshi, who was standing right by Makie, and freakingly tried to tell him to do anything to stop Makie from losing her mind.

Toshi held Makie by her shoulders and shuddered her to divert her attention. He even tried to rotate her head to make her lose sight of Takeshi but nothing could change the fact that she had already seen him once.
