Chapter 8 - Black Orb Eyes

CESIA'S POV

"You're a Monster! " Voice of Mommy Thea. I don't know why I heard and see them again.

"You killed us! " Papa Damon said. His body is full of blood.

"You're already dead. " I whisper to myself not believing what I saw.

"You killed us Cesia! " mommy said.

"No-no, you're not here. You both dead! " I shouted.

"You killed us! Because you're a monster! " they both said while their blood dripping from their body. And they have a big hole in their chest too.

I can't move my body. I'll try to run, but my feet we're, glued to the ground. Even my mind is panicking and it won't cooperate with me.

"You Die! Monster! " they both hold a knife and quickly stabbed my chest.

"Aaaaaah! " I woke up with heavy breathing. And my clothes are now wet because of my sweating body.

It happens again, the dream. The worst nightmare that happened in my life. They keep on haunting me, every time I sleep. It's been a month since I stay here in Valzonian. But these nightmares keep on repeating.

I looked at the clock.

"2:00 in the morning," I whispered.

'Tsk! Again! '

I can't sleep back. So, I stand up and get the clothes in my closet. I wear my favorite white V-neck shirt and black Levi's Jeans. I matched this to my white boots and my hair into a ponytail.

'Hmm. What's missing' while looking at my reflection in the full-length mirror. I've seen the reflection of my black coat jacket. The one Amara gave to me.

'Got you! ' grabbing the coat and wear it.

I went out of the door and silently step out of the stairs not making a noise. I am now in the living area. I walk through the door slowly opening it, to go outside.

I scan the place, no warriors have been roaming around here in front of the door. I quickly run through the garden in the left corner of the palace.

I am here, in the garden which I discovered lately. It's my place of relaxation here. The huge veranda is welcome to my vision, where you can see the mountain of clouds. The smell of lavender and the different flowers gave beauty to its place.

I inhaled the fresh air and it's lavender fragrance while closing my eyes. It made my mind calm.

"It's been a month Cesia" I whispered, still closing my eyes. And my stay here in the palace makes my heart feel like it's home. Even I had this non-emotion problem, the blank face looks they care for me. They're good people and a funny family to get along with.

'How I wish to feel them' said to my thoughts

"Soon, Zia. " I answered my, thoughts. Yeah, I named her Zia. I don't even know why my conscience is talking to me. But, I already accept it. At least I have someone too, who knows me well.

'And we had to find the reason, Why we're feeling this' she said. I nod as she sees me.

"It's time. " I whispered and whistled using my voice, three times.

'Savanna' we both said. After a minute of calling her. I heard the flapping sound of her wings. And her reflection in the moon. The clouds were now visible too. I feel her presence nearer and a small thud of her hooves.

"Cesia" she bowed to me. She's in front of me now. Her mark star we're glowing. I nod touching the mark on the forehead.

'Woah, you feel it, right? ' Zia said.

'Yes,' I said.

Every time I touched its mark. I feel that invisible electricity tinkling in my skin.

"You're awake again because of those nightmares? " Savanna asked. I looked at her and nod.

Since I discovered this place, she's been my companion all along with my thoughts Zia. She heard Zia too. I asked her if this is normal. But she didn't know too what's the reason, I heard and can even talk to my thoughts, Zia.

Savanna's been here always. It started during my first discovery of this garden. I accidentally call her in my mind because I remembered her. And I gasped and my eyes widen. She heard my call even she's in the Valzonian Kingdom. So, start from that day she's here and She knows what I feel by reading my mind.

"Haist, Forget those Bad memories Cesia! " Savanna said while she flaps her wings and faces the veranda ready to fly.

She looked at me.

"Ride in Dear, It's time to refresh your mind. " she giggled.

'Yipee, it's flying time. ' Zia excitedly said. Imagine, she said it with no feelings.

I sighed and ride to her back and hold it. Every time, I woke up from that bad dream, she suggested that we do this just to refresh my mind. And she's right. It makes me calm and removes my worries.

Savanna extended her wings and didn't tell me we're now going to fly. And here, I am screaming till my throat hurts.

"Aaaaaaaah, Savanna. Sloow Down! " I said while screaming. She just giggled. I wag my head because of what she did. She's been close to me, though. And knows me well.

I look around and extend my arms, feeling the incoming winds through my skin. I touch the clouds beside me. But can't feel its softness.

'Wish to feel them someday' Zia said in my mind.

"Yeah, I want to feel them too" I sadly said.

"Don't lose hope you, two. It will come to you. And maybe I'll be the one who will see it first. " Savanna said to us and chuckled.

"Thanks, Savanna! I experienced all of this because of you. " I truly said.

"Hahaha, You know what? You're too emotional without "Emotion". Savanna laughingly said to me.

'Hays, She's right. We can't feel how it feels' Zia and I said in chorus.

We stop by in the Autumn Forest. If you're asking, there's a forest here.

Yeah, there is. But the Autumn Forest wasn't located in the Valzonian Realm. Savanna said this is the boundary of A mortal realm and the Underworld Realm. She brings me here always. Every time I had a nightmare.

I don't know why we can enter this place.

I see the barrier below us and Savanna quickly flaps her wings quickly go to the barrier. And we both knew that its a forbidden place for us.

But it confuses me too, and need some research about my origin. And I accept that I'm not a mortal. Maybe?

Savanna dropped me off and I'm still curious, even how many times I've been here.

"Cesia, I had to roam around the place. Okay? " Savanna said. I nod in response. And she flies again to roam the place.

It's dangerous in here too, because we might encounter Demons or Bad creatures in here.

I sit in the big Stone and observed the place. The sun has already risen and its shining rays reflect from the snowing leaves.

'I'm curious Cesia, why it's called an Autumn Forest. The weather here is opposite to its name. ' Zia said.

"You're right. It's still snowing here, maybe it's the constant weather here. " I answered her question.

Yes, the whole place is full of snow. It's cold here and the vibe of the wind is relaxing.

I roam my gaze to the place and looking for an interesting view. Near the barrier, I saw the only Maple Tree. Its leaves are covered with snow, but its color is still visible. But, I wonder why is so Dark there? Only the ray of the sun is its light.

'Maybe, it's part Of the Underworld ' Zia suggests.

'Ey, Do you think there's a Beautiful Maple Tree in The Underworld? ' Still looking for that mysterious tree. I didn't mind these before, because I thought the sunlight wasn't reaching the tree.

'Haist, Maybe only the Underworld word is creepy, but the place is nice' she said.

'Huh, You think so? ' encountering her opinion.

' Here we go again. ' she giggled a blank emotion. Hays.

I saw a maple leaf falling from the tree and I stopped when I heard something.

I looked around, but no one's there.

I turned my gazed to the maple tree on the dark side. There I saw a Man in Black Cloak seriously looking at me. I can't see fully his face, but I know he's a Man the way he stands.

I frowned because my heart keeps pumping out loud like it knows his presence.

'Zia? ' I called her.

'I know Cesia, it's the first time We heard our heart pump' Zia seriously answered. Since I wake up with no emotion, Zia is right it's the first time we heard our heart pump.

I open my eyes wider to see his face, but only his familiar black orb eyes. I only see.

'From when or where I see those eyes? ' I'm confused.

'He's familiar, but I didn't see him in the Realm' Zia answered.

I saw the light pass through him and I see him smirking. And because of my stupid move. My butt we're now touching the cold ground, fall from my place earlier.

"Ouch! " I said while rubbing my butt.

'Cesia, your so lousy! 'Zia said.

'Shut up! My butt hurts.' I said, but my eyes widened...

'Hu-rt? Zia, I feel hurt! My God! ' I shout because of my sudden emotion.

'I can't believe it! ' Zia excitedly said. Why? What happened?

"Cesia? Are you okay? " I heard Savanna and she comes nearer to me. I'm still stuck in the ground.

"Ah, eh, I-I saw something. N-o, Someone. " I said while rubbing my butt. I'm excited to report to Savanna what happen, but before I could say it...

"Sav.... "

"Shit! " Savanna automatically widens her wings, but this time my eyes were shocked because of her battle form. She had these edges like small knives or maybe a dagger in her wings? All of it the soft wings we're now changing into thousand of silver knives.

' Is she triggered or found someone else here? ' Zia frustratingly said.

I immediately stand not minding the pain in my butt. I scan the place and the side where I see the Man. But no one's there already. The cold wind earlier is now colder and the eerie of the place is not good.

'God! Cesia we don't know how to protect ourselves. We don't even know how to fight! ' Zia is now hysterical.

'Calm Down, Don't panic. ' I calmly said to her. Geez, this thought.

"Cesia, Ride! " Savanna is now panicking. Without hesitation, I quickly jump to her back and She quickly flaps her wings upward. I looked down and gasped.

"Sa-savanna! " I said stuttering.

"I know Cesia. We have to move fast! " she said eagerly.

'God Tita Scarlett will get mad at me'

I looked at them. " Ogre" An ugly ogres are the one I've seen now. There two fangs are out of their mouth. Their sloppy and mud-like skin. God! they bring weapons. Swords, Big axes, and a Bow?

I've seen one of the Ogre's aims, through our direction. The arrow quickly moves towards the stomach of Savanna. I shout and hug her tight. And claim the shot instead of her.

"Cesiaa! " I heard savanna shouting and aiming for me to get me. I lose my grip on her. I'm falling to their side. Really from the ogres? Shit!

"Savanna" I whispered until I feel the pain and dizziness in my back. My visions are now blurry.

I ready myself in a huge blow of falling. I closed my eyes. But before I landed on the ground. I felt a strong arm holding me.

"Got you! " he coldly said. Even my eyes are blurry. I've seen his face. His familiar black orb eyes. My heart is now in trouble because of him.

Why do I feel this into him?

"Cesiaa! " I heard Savanna called me. I see her worried eyes. My eyes widen because there, we're an incoming ogre in her side. I stretch my hands and point to the enemy.

'Savanna, watch out! ' I said. I feel weak already.

But I saw how she quickly fight the Ogre with her sharp wings. The silver knives are now Going for its head. The ogre is now lying, lifeless.

I feel myself now on the cold ground and Saw the Man look at me worriedly.

'Who are you?' I frowned.

"I'll clear this mess," he said straight.

I just watched them like a paralyzed person because I can't even move. Maybe those arrows had something to do, you paralyze. It made me dizzier.

I saw him easily grab the neck of the two Ogres and there were already dead. By touching them, they'd die? While Savanna is using her wings fighting them. The Ogres weapon we're useless. They can't fight back and even they attempt to swish their sword, they end dying. Until all the Ogres are now lifeless on the ground. The white snow ground we're now green because of the blood.

Savanna hurriedly runs in my direction with the mysterious man.

"Cesiaa! " Savanna whisper. I reach out my hand to her and touched her.

'I want to sleep. I'm already tired, Savanna. ' I said using my thoughts.

'Zia? ' I called her.

'I'm still here. Cesia. I feel you' she said.

"No, Don't sleep Cesia! We have to cure you. We have to go Home. Immediately. " she's frustrated.

"You have to bring her to the Palace. " the mysterious man said in a calm voice.

'What? Why Is he that calm? '

'Someone might die here'

"Y-ou! " Savanna was taken aback because of him. She looks nervous and afraid.

"I'll make a portal. To quickly heal her. " he looks at me with worries.

'Why that sad face? '

Before my visions went black I saw the opening portal and heard he said:

"Take Care of her. Please! " he seriously said.
