CHAPTER 4 - DARKNESS, LOST SOUL

"I am not like other people. I am burning in hell. The hell of myself".

CESIA'S POV

"Hello? " my voice echoed. I don't see anything, even light, there's nothing here. I don't know if how many hours or days, I'm walking in this darkness.

I don't see a certain destination or place to question where am I. Only the darkness welcomes me here since I woke up.

"Where am I? I stopped and sighed. It seems like I encounter my Darkness, self. A pit of darkness, empty like me... I sat on the ground because of tiredness. I embrace my knees and put my chin on them.

"Am I dead?" maybe I died because of the wounds that I earned from my so-called family.

"Or a heartache? " I chuckled a bit.

'Nonsense'. Why would I die in a sudden betrayal, pain, and suffering I received from them?

"Am I, In a Dream? " I questioned myself.

"Nope. Maybe? Hmm" as if I answered my question.

'I'm like a crazy person here! '

"Hays, you're in the hell Cesia., Hell of yourself ." I sadly said.

There we're no tracing of wounds and scars on my body. I didn't feel pain too, my dress we're clean. Like it never happened, the tragic memories earlier. I scan the place...

'Huh, No interesting view. It's dark.' The silence of the place makes me sadder.

"I'll be deaf here, in this silence! God! ". I sighed again. Reminiscing the times I suffered. I cried heartily, letting out my weariness and pain in the heart. Maybe I'm here because I need this. I'm here to mourn my tragic life.

I don't know how many hours, I let myself cry in vain. Because there were no more tears fall from my eyes. I deeply, exhale the feeling of heaviness.

'I feel empty and Hallow'.

"I hope, I'll never back again ". I said. I don't want to go back from reality. If I'm dead? it's great. If I'm in deep sleep? Hope, I'll never wake up.

"It's good here, the darkness is calm. No one will hurt me here. " I meaningfully said. Until a sudden sound perked my senses.

"BOOM" a loud thud came thundering from the depths of the dark cave. I immediately stand because of excitement.

'Yeah, excitement. I'm used to it, the fear and a tragic situation. I'm not afraid. I walked towards the sound. And saw a ray of light. Like it's the reflection of something in the darkroom.

'Why, I didn't see this earlier? '

"Hello?, Is there someone else there? ". I shout and my voice echoed back. I hear again a thud, but not that loud. Like someone or something heard my call.

"Who are you? " I stopped walking.

"Did I hear it? right? " convincing myself if I hear those voices.

"I said, Who are you? " I trembled because of his baritone, depth cold voice.

"Ces... "

"Why are you here? " he cut off my answer and spoke again.

' Eh, why is he angry? ' I said to my conscience.

"Who let you enter into my Kingdom? " he questioned me again.

' Ahh, Mr.! Please calm down, will you! ' I want to punch him right now.

' Hmm. Your scared, Cesia' said to my conscience.

' Shut up ' exchanging conversation with my conscience. I must be crazy because I talked and heard my conscience speak. I stopped my serious thought.

"I said, who let you enter into my Kingdom! " and now he's shouting with anger.

'God, this man' but what caught up my attention is...

"King-dom? " I questioned him with curiousness. I didn't see him, but I know he's a man, his voice. I heard incoming steps and stop a meter away from me. I can't see him, only the silhouette.

"You're in my kingdom, lady. In HELL. " I gasped from what I heard.

'Kingdom? Hell? So, I'm already dead? '

"I-m dead". a statement. I felt sad because of it. Earlier I love to know I'm dead because I don't want to suffer again. But the opposite is I want to live.

"No. You're Not Dead. Your body is in a deep sleep. "I lift my head to him, hoping it's true.

"So, what am I doing here? " I said.

"That's why I asked you to. " he coldly said. His voice Was like thousands of spear ice stabbed into you.

"Your soul is lost, you left your body without knowing it. " he continued.

"Lost Soul" I whispered. Right for me then.

"And what interests me most, why here? " he said, I know he's nearer to me. But heck, I can't see his face.

'Is he a king of Darkness ?' I thought they only exist in books but now I encounter one.

"Nope," he said, like knowing what I thought.

"Prince of Darkness " his lifeless voice run through my bones as he knew too I was empty.

'Oh, Prince. '

"Can I stay here? " I asked him, hoping If I can. Now, I know I'm a lost soul. It's okay, I'll never go back from my body.

"Hmmm... Idiot" he calmly said.

'What? '

"I'm a lost soul, then it's okay. If I never go back to my body." I replied.

"Do you think you can stay here? Hm? " he sounds interesting.

"If you decided to leave your body without going back. Then your soul will vanish. And no one will recognize your existence, forever. " he answered.

Then my tears are now falling from what I heard. Although I don't want to live again, I don't want my soul to vanish. It's the only thing, left from me.

"But, If I go back. All the nightmares will keep on haunting me. " I sobbed again.

"No one cares for me! So, Why I don't have a choice? " I burst from anger.

"Why that Damn Fate keeps on making me Dumb! ". I lower my head in disbelief.

"Hey, Lady". I feel a sudden volt of electricity coming from my system when he touched my chin upward just to look at him.

My eyes widened because of what I saw.

'Why this prince has this handsome face? I thought the underworld creatures are ugly? '

"Except me," he said while smirking. His face is like an angel, perfect chiseled jaw, long curly eyelashes, pointed nose, sinful lips, and his dark orb black eyes.

' Greek God' this is the first time meeting a person. Lucky me, handsome man.

"Done, tracing my face? " he looked at me with amusement. My mouth is still open from the view I've seen. I cut my stare at him and look down.

"Don't you wanna know your purpose here in this World? " he said.

' So what, I suffered Always? '

"Hm. purpose? " I smirked from that thought.

"Yeah, If you had that little hope in your heart. Go back and find it, even you suffer a lot. Because, in the end, there's a reward for your sacrifices ". he meaningfully said. I paused at the moment. Repeatedly put in my mind. He's right.

"It's your second chance of life. " God this man perked up my senses A cold voice of a man, concerned. I looked at him amused. This man has a heart. Why is it here, anyway?

"Tsk! Hm. Decide now! " what a short-tempered guy. 'Duh,' I rolled my eyes at him, and silence filled around us in a minute. I sighed.

"Okay. I'll return." I straightly said with no emotions.

"Hm. interesting! ". he amusedly said and crossed his arm.

"So, I don't want to know the reason you're here. Because you already decided to go back". he said with no emotion again. I just looked at him and gesture to continue.

"Ready? " I nod

"Hm. wait! I forgot, the moment you wake up from your body. You will never remember visiting here in the underworld ". I frowned.

It's my first time meeting a person, a prince. Then I wake up with no memories in here. Damn that!

I heard he chuckled a bit. I looked at him like ' What's funny, Bipolar Man' shooting dagger looks at him. He, then, laughed out loud.

"Ha-hahaha-ha. You're interesting!" he laughed by his heart filled with amusement looking at me. Then stopped, serious again.

'Bipolar'

"So, you can't remember here and me". holding his jaw, grinning.

'Duh, whatever ' I rolled my eyes.

I grunt when he holds my shoulders with his both hands. He looked at me and sighed. I saw the emotion in his face 'sad', why? But it fades again, cause he wears his serious face.

"Once you passed out; You'll wake up again in your World" a sad yet serious tone of him.

He then, use his right thumb and put it on my forehead. There's a strong force coming through inside my head with a beam of light. I closed my eyes because of dizziness. Before I passed out I heard him said.:

"Nice to meet you, Cesia" ... "I'm Trev" Until his voice we're gone. I smile when I heard his cold voice.

'You too, Trev. I hope I meet you again '.

My heart filled a little happiness. But I know I can't remember anything in here. It's so sad. Until I feel a pull of light and I went to deep sleep again.
