Chapter 17: The Amulet

ARIES HERECLEOS POV

"Is she awake? " Aivan asked.

"Nope. Still unconscious, her energy was drained because of what happened during the last three days. " I explained to them.

It's been four days, since the day Cesia was unconscious.

She fainted when she arrived here at the hotel coming from the portal.

We stayed here for how many days waiting for her to wake up. Trevor brought us to his owned Hotel named Trez de Hotel in Athens, Greece. It is one of the famous hotels in the world, and I believe Trez de Hotel, were built in every country. Even in this Mortal Realm, he holds so much power than Prince Aivan and I.

"I'm worried about her Uncontrolled powers..." Amara said while looking at the ceiling, leaning her head to the sofa. We're in the living room. A special suite for Prince Trevor, his room in this Hotel.

"She's stronger than I thought. " We all know that there's something about her powers, her identity. That's why The Elders are eager to know, what kind of creature she is. She didn't know, how she changed this time and it started during the interrogation.

"What triggers her to become that powerful in her old house? " Amara said while frowning. She's very serious and worried about Cesia. That's her action, thinking deep because she cares that much, far from the Silly Amara we know.

"We don't know, either. " Aivan shrugged, drinking his brewed coffee. I know how he cares for her. Aivan didn't drink this usual coffee without having a problem or worried about something. Their actions say so. I've been with him since childhood. He's my closest cousin than Trevor. Trevor is always that cold and serious. But, the way he is that silent, he's thinking outside the box and possibilities. And Amara is there too, watching how we grow and our bond became stronger. We're close friends, then Cesia came, we became close to her. Even she is that cold and introvert sometimes. We understand her situation. She is kind and secretly caring about who is important to her. She keeps on denying that, but her actions speak.

"We're almost on the verge of death at that time. If Aivan and Trevor didn't come, definitely they wake for us already with our dead bodies. " I said while remembering those accidents.

It sent shivers to my whole being. We are trained and skilled in fighting. It's our natural way to know how to fight. A demon hunter and a Valkyrie must be stronger and unable to be afraid. But, the heck, with her presence that time I almost run and my knees are trembling. I know it sounds gay, but it's the truth.

"Hey, don't say that! " Amara pouted and frowned looking at me. I grin...

"Why love? Afraid of dying without having my virginity and delicious body?" teasing her, I know it annoys her.

"What? Yuck! Over my dead body, Stupid Aries! " She stands overreacting what I said. I grin widely that makes her pout more. Murmuring something.

Aivan shakes his head, looking at us. He knows me well, how I love to tease Amara.

"And what did you say, virginity? Huh, acting like one, eh? " She crossed her arms, then acted as she spews about the words 'virginity '. I laughed.

"Hahahahaha" I can't help myself because of her reaction. She looks at me, frowning.

"Wanna try and taste me, eh? " I said between my laughs. She still frowning, but grin after. Wait, why she's grinning like an evil bitch? I thought she wanted to defeat and sit again on the sofa. She slowly bends and ties her boots? But.....

"What the..... " I quickly move away from the incoming force towards me.

"Fuck! " I saw the dagger pinned in the wall straight to where I am earlier. She smirked and be seated.

"Damn! That was close. You wanna kill me? " I act like I'm hurting.

"Stupid! I know you can avoid it. Duh! " she rolls her eyes. I should have made my move too, but Prince Trevor came holding a golden jewelry box?

He came out of the Door where Cesia is confined. He's been there since Cesia is unconscious. Watching and Guarding her if anything happens to her. He had a hard time taking care of her, she had a fever every night and he's there to give first aid or running through my doors calling me to cure her.

He sleeps in the daytime in her room. And Aivan was there to guard her or Amara and I. Trevor didn't eat for days and his situation right now is a bit grumpy. And his looks, I envy him whenever he's that stressed and no sleep always cool and handsome with his messy hair and unkempt clothes.

"Is that from Cesia's house? " Amara asked and looked curiously into the golden jewelry box.

Prince Trevor sits in front of Amara. Aivan on the left corner of the sofa and they looked at me to occupy the seat in the right corner. I scratched the back of my head and bit my lower lip. I walked towards them like a Ramp Model in Victoria's Fashion show. But, it's different this time because I'm a Man, not the sexy beauties. Hehe.

"I know, I'm that handsome. Don't fantasize about me, my bro's. " I said while grinning. They looked at me, sitting on the sofa with a leg crossed.

Huh, I'm that gorgeous to make them stare like that?

"Tsk! " Trevor with his blank expression.

"Overweening!" Aivan whispered, but I heard it.

"Proud, eh? " Amara said with matching roll eyes. I grinned and make a post like a pro.

"Stop that nonsense. I have something to say and this time it's just us here who can know. " Prince Trevor seriously said. I should have protested, but, this time I became serious. I know it's important and that golden jewelry box on what's inside of it is one of the reasons.

"Okay, what is it? " Aivan calmly said.

"This thing, inside the box. Has something connected to Cesia's origin," he said, pointing to the golden jewelry box on the top of the glass table.

"And it triggered her emotion." We frowned, based on what he said.

Triggered?

"What do you mean by that? "Amara asked. He only looks at us with his cold stare.

He sighed.

"Because of what happened and her memories in her home, her pain and resentment lead to his anger. Her demon side takes over her body and uses pain and suffering," he explained. What? I can't understand. Why do her pain and resentment become the reason? Is her past is that kind of unforgettable? ...

"A de-mon? " I stuttered and let my mouth say those words.

"I believe... She has dark blood..." he's unable to say it, about his statement. We gasped and didn't believe him.

"N-o... Maybe you're mistaken... " Aivan said. Yeah, I agree with him. It's a mistake. He just looked and clenched his jaw.

"I-I believe in h-im. " We Look Amara with an unbelievable face. She looks scared...

"Every time it triggered her anger. Her eyes... Becomes red... And she can't control it and didn't know what she doing. " She said.

We know all of that. Her violet eyes changed to red if she's angry or in pain. But, I didn't think she had Demon blood. But, her statement and Trevor's has a fact. Demon blood is powerful and dangerous like Trevor if you can't control it well.

"What happened to her past, that makes her like that? " I asked. We all know his past is a nightmare, but she didn't state what kind of nightmare she encountered. She didn't want to talk about it.

"Kiel... I know, you knew something about her past. Please, tell us. " Aivan pleaded. Yeah, Trevor can see your past and read your mind... I'm curious too, what's with her past, why she became that distant to us.

"I don't have the rights to tell, Even I know what happens. We have to respect her privacy. Only I can say is, she suffered, betrayed, and tortured. To make all of you have an idea about her past. Wait for her to open up. " He seriously said with a clenched jaw. We sighed and just nod. We understand, what he's trying to say. And it makes us worry about her, I have an idea of why she pained a lot. I understand her and pity her life...

"Don't show her your pity, while you're in front of her. It will let her down. Give courage and love to her, and let's make her happy and erase the memories of her past and filled it with joy, a family to lean on, and a friend. " We nodded and willing to do that to our friend. She deserves to be loved and happy. And we are here to fill her with a good and unforgettable memory.

Trevor opens the golden jewelry box and we gasped.

"Cesia's name is imprinted inside. Her guardian uses her true name, right? " Amara said while both hands covered her mouth. Trevor nodded. Does he get the Necklace? Inside the box and lay it on the table.

"A necklace? " I said with hesitation. Trevor shakes his head.

"It's an Amulet. " Amara said while looking at it. She frowned gasped.

"It-s fami-liar... The Amulet ... I have seen this, but... I forget where I see it.. " she said while widening her eyes.

"Aivan, have any idea? " I asked because he looks in the Amulet, stiffened. He closes his eyes and...

"I-I don't want to confirm." He said, so, I'm the only one who's clueless about that Amulet thingy?

I looked into it.

"Weird... " I said. They look at me.

"What's weird? " Amara said. I point out the Amulet. They look at me like...

"What?" they chorus.

"The amulet has different colors...It has nine precious stones encircled with gold. The stones serve as the chain to make it like a necklace. It has different colors: green, black, red, blue, yellow, orange, brown, and white for the eight crystal-like stones of the same sizes. And the bigger one has a Violet color with a touch of gold and silver glitters. " They look to each other, confused. Trevor looks intently at me...

"Are you sure? " He said.

"Ye-ah... It's obvious in the colors... Why? " I asked while frowning. They look at me with a scrutinizing gaze.

What's their problem?

"Ahm. Care to explain, what's with that look? " I said and tensed up.

Aivan and Trevor nod to each other like they understand what happened. Amara looks confused too, but there's a hint of an idea about it. And me? A clueless guy and a very handsome one. Hehe.

"Amara contact your witch friend and asked for the direction and place about the Sorceress. " Aivan ordered her. She nodded without hesitation.

I frowned. What's happening?

"Sorceress? " I said with a questioning look. My weirdo cousins look at me with a blank expression.

"Hey... " I want an explanation. Trevor puts the Amulet inside the golden jewelry box. Is that they're concerned? Is it done? Why I didn't understand anything?

"We have to wait for her to wake up. And find the Sorceress. Only she can explain about the Amulet and about what you see. " Aivan said. I frowned again.

What? What did I see?

"Tsk! Only you can see it, Moron." Amara said.

"See, what? " I'm like a Damned Creature, here.

"The Amulet's true form. We have to Find, Elizabeth Loki Luminia" Trevor finally said...

And that's right... I'm doomed...
