314 The Night of Fury and Fire, part 1/2

"Open up!" The shouts and bangs reverberated through the night, coming from up.

A small group stood in the circle, the whole room submerged in absolute darkness.

They were all in absolute silence, the gloomy atmosphere in the room so dense that it was hard to breathe. They just stood there staring at small glass-like balls in their hands.

"This is the last warning!" They knew they would be caught, as there was no way for them to escape from the heart of dragon territory.

They couldn't even run away as the monsters, with senses far superior to those of humans, sniffed them out like dogs.

However, none of them looked sad or angry. It was their choice to sacrifice their lives for the higher cause, 'Hopefully, this will give our brothers and sisters time to finish our missive.'

A loud bang followed by a cracking sound came from the room above them.
