1 The Space Storm

The ASTER 9 Ship has successfully penetrated the atmosphere of Planet Mars. Captain Vince and his crew's mission is finally complete and they can immediately return to earth.

"Congratulations Captain, we'll be home soon!" Tony, a crew member who serves as the main pilot, encourages the senior.

The mastermind of this mission is indeed the captain, but no one can ride a spaceship as well as Tony. Captain Vince would pat Tony on the shoulder proudly when they stabilized.

Everyone in the NASA control room also cheered for the success of this mission. If there are no obstacles, it will only take another 150 days for ASTER 9 to arrive on earth.

The people in the NASA control room continued to monitor the ASTER 9 ship's movements tirelessly. The captain had already removed his seat belt and turned around as one of the crew yelled.

"Captain! There's something odd on the radar."

Just as Captain Vince turned around, there was a great shock. It was as if the ship had hit something.

No, it wasn't ASTER 9 that crashed but a large meteoroid just hit the ship.

The main control room was also surprised by the sighting of a meteoroid in orbit. These satellites didn't pick up any signal before. ASTER 9 path should be clean of space debris.

Captain Vince returned to his seat and immediately checked the radar. Several dots appeared, formed a line, and approached ASTER 9. A meteoroid hit the ship again. Even though the shock was not as big as the first, this was not a good sign.

"What was that? Are we under attack?" The rest of the crew began to have thoughts in their heads.

"No, it's just a meteoroid." Something like this should be something that has been reckoned with space travel. The galaxy is so vast and space objects move indefinitely without a guide.

"They're starting to appear in our path, Captain." Tony fixed his gaze at the scene in front of him.

The crew also could see with their own eyes. Meteoroid rocks appeared from the front of the ship.

"It's no good for us captains."

In NASA's main control room, they have also begun to realize the precarious situation that is starting to occur. Many objects appear in the orbit of ASTER 9.

"There are too many of them, we can't just sit back and keep bumping." Tony gripped the ship's joystick tightly.

Currently, the ASTER 9 movement is still under the control of the central chamber at NASA. Moving the lever will not make ASTER 9 move at all. Meanwhile, the meteoroid rocks kept coming towards them.

Captain Vince knows what Tony means. The captain called the main control room and immediately made a request. "Turn off the automatic controls and let us take over please!"

"Captain, I'm sorry but this is not a decision you can take!" the central room answered.

"Then who has to make the decisions? If you don't turn off the control system then we will crash immediately?"

"Just believe ASTER 9 will survive," the main control room may only see this as a dot but only the crew knows how big the rocks are emerging in front of them.

BOOM!

One more meteoroid hit the ASTER 9 ship. According to the estimated size and shocks generated, these objects cannot be called meteoroids anymore. These objects are included in the asteroid class.

After several hits, a red signal appeared on the ship's control system. The damage caused by the crash began to affect ASTER 9's performance.

"Captain, we can't keep moving straight!" Tony warned me again.

Under another shock, Captain Vince once again requested manual control clearance from the control center room. But they cannot provide access. It will be difficult to control the ship manually. ASTER 9 only needs to get through this a few miles ahead.

"Captain, I'm ready to drop ultimate control if you give me permission!" Seeing no other way, Susan, the only woman on the mission, couldn't bear to take action. This is something that she could do for the ship's starters.

If they didn't do something, the bigger impact might have paralyzed the ship. That's something risky, as risky as manually controlling a ship to pass every asteroid in front of them.

"Are you sure you can get through all this Tony?" The captain turns to Tony because once they get manual control Tony will

got a big assignment.

The man nodded confidently. There is no place for doubt. Tony's years of training should have been enough to make himself worthy of piloting ASTER 9 through the meteoroids and asteroids ahead.

"I'm ready for this shit, Captain!"

"Ok, Susan. I'll take all the responsibility from here. Let's take control of the ship!"
