2 I woke up in a different world!

Brahman is the supreme entity also known as the primordial god.

According to his different aspects, he is divided into 3 gods. Brahma the creator, Shiva the destroyer, and finally Vishnu the preserver.

Brahma created the multiverse and divided it into 3 planes of existence; Heaven, Hell, and the Orgin; and countless living entities to multiply and fill the multiverse.

Every life created then undergoes an eternal cycle of reincarnation.

Shiva destroys the existence that goes out of the cycle whereas Vishnu preserves life so that the cycle continues smoothly.

Below the three gods are devas and asuras. Devas are the minor gods that live in heaven whereas asuras are the demons living in cycles.

Humans are the life forms created in the main universe, also known as the Orgin Universe.

The Orgin world undergoes countless cycles of creation and destruction of life overtime to maintain its balance and existence. Each cycle is divided into 4 yugas, Satya, Treta, Dvapara, and Kali.

Satya yuga is when humans are governed by gods, and every manifestation is close to the purest ideal and humanity which allows intrinsic goodness to rule supreme. It is referred to as the "Golden Age". This was also the time when humans became powerful with the use of spiritual power.

The four yugas show the transition of humans, once reigned by gods, and praised as ideal to peak evil by corruption with the seven deadly sins and demons. Humans eventually lose their ability to control spiritual power.

This is the case in every cycle of life. Humans start as good and powerful only to be pitiful powerless evil mortals by the end of Kali-yuga.

This is because Kali-yuga marks the arrival of Kali [1], the evil immortal demon created accidentally by the Brahma during his creation of the multiverse.

Brahma spared the demon since good and evil are part of the same cycle. Thus he was allowed to incarnate to the orgin world in each cycle and he started luring humankind into their temptations, thus corrupting them.

Since he was permitted to enter the cycle by the Brahma, Vishnu the preserver decided to descend to the mortal world in each cycle to put an end to his every incarnation to preserve mankind in form of an avatar, The Kalkin.

So, at the end of each Kali-yuga, Kalkin wakes up to slay Kali and all the corrupted humankind to start the next Satya Yuga thus preserving the cycle.

The cold wind whipped down about like blades, and brown-yellow leaves flew around, falling to the ground one by one. The air was warm, the flowers were vast, and they conceal the freshly cut green grass. Flower hedges and bushes grew all around.

Xed Kalkin opened his eyes and found himself sitting below a rather big tree in the park.

It was a rather refreshing sight to see innocent children going to and fro in the swings unrestricted of everything else.

Children played around and the people were immersed in their own small world.

Xed heaved a deep sigh. It's been 5 years since he came out of his sleep from the underground cemetery. He had wandered around the land aimlessly thinking of ways to pass time.

Thinking back these 5 years passed rather quickly with no noteworthy incidents, well maybe except one. That one was seriously funny but also conveyed a significant issue underneath.

But alas, when you undergo countless lives within each cycle, nothing surprises you anymore.

Flashback. A week later after he woke.

[ "Welcome to the Ultimate System - World Guardian mode, Host 04." ]

[ "Preliminary Data collected.

Location: Maldor Savannah, Asia.

Mission: Find a way out of the Savannah in 1 week.

Reward: Integration of the system, the full package.

Remarks: You are weak as fuck. Work hard to reach the peak, ant. ]

The robotic voice sounded again in Xed's head.

Xed was amused knowing that he was currently experiencing the system novel that he read about in the head priest's memory a week before. Seriously is this idiot asking him, who is supposed to destroy the world, to guard it? Does he look like a dumbhead to the people around him? No, if he must say, he looks relatively handsome in fact and an ant? How rude!!

Letting out a small laugh, he took a peek inside his soul space. There, just above his soul was a small bright light, the size of a firefly blinking rapidly and hovering around without any care about the world.

Suddenly to the surprise of the light, a hand shot off, grabbing it tightly and shoving it into a mouth. The system couldn't even register what happened as it was focusing hard to fish a naive client.

" Yeww. Tastes a little metallic for a soul. You are so weak yourselves and you're calling me an ant? Hmm...! So that's how it is! I knew something was different when I woke up."

" A world outside the supervision of Vishnu under some unknown minor god. Well, no worries. Vishnu should have by now gotten the news of me missing. It is rather peculiar that a minor god could hide from Vishnu's radar with a couple of humans in hand. Humans there, humans here. No different. Kill them all at the end of Kali-yuga. "

[1] Kali is mentioned by the head priest in the prologue. Kali-yuga is the eon when Kali corrupts humans to the end with no return and Kalkin puts a stop to this.

Note: Kalkin is a God incarnated in human form. He can recall all the memory even from childhood to the death of any organism he consumes. After all, he is a god.
