Grayson Clarke had been traumatized!

This rumor quickly spread out through the school like a raging fire. As the culprit, Xed also became quite well-known overnight.

Many were overjoyed by the fact that Grayson was put down by the new transfer student whereas some became quite wary towards this mysterious student.

" Did you hear, the new transfer student is too fierce! "

" Yeah! He tortured that arrogant newbie Grayson during a practice session!"

" He had it coming! This is what happens when you act complacent without ability. "

" Also, I heard that his family took him back for his mental treatment! "

" Well, it's no surprise he will be traumatized if he went through that kind of torture! "

" Even the teacher didn't cease the battle in between saying, this happens in the world all the time, keep in mind and stuff! "

" Poor dude, how unlucky can one be!!"

" But I never knew our academy is so strong! Even the famous Clarke family didn't ask for further explanation."

" Even the principal is an 8th circle mage, how can they try to meddle in our affairs? "

" No wonder! "

Meanwhile, Xed was in the library, skimming through the books on the topography of the world, comparing it with the knowledge he withdrew from the priest's body. There was no major difference in the knowledge obtained, he concluded.

The world he was currently living in is called Kalinga. Kalinga has 7 continents, Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, Antartica, North and South America. [ 1 ]

Moreover, many small nations and islands exist outside the rule of these seven continents. The Imperial Magic Academy that he was currently studying at is one such place. It was situated on a tropical island near Middle Asia.

Seeing that the time was almost dusk, he kept the book back and left the library.

Walking along the empty corridor, he saw a pretty, dark blue-haired girl waiting for someone by the stairs. He soon recognized that this girl was the very same girl who blushed at him yesterday.

When the girl saw Xed strolling towards her, she started fidgeting around, appearing very nervous. She soon started to blush when she met Xed's gaze.

" Hi..hi, Xed", She stuttered anxiously.

" Relax, relax. Take a deep breath and let it out. Then speak. I am a really nice guy, I won't eat you." Xed reassured her with a smile.

She nodded, then stood straight and took in a deep breath. She soon returned to her graceful posture though a tinge of redness could be seen underneath her skin.

She continued, " Xed, Aah! Forgive me, I haven't introduced myself. I am Shirley, Shirley Davison. Nice to meet you!"

" Miss Shirley! A beautiful name befitting for a lovely lady. " Xed took hold of her hand and placed a kiss near the back of her palm.

Shirley withdrew her hand abruptly, and quickly covered her red face, denying bashfully, " No, no, no. You are making me shy, Xed."

Xed smiled and asked, "So what do I owe the pleasure of your company, my lady, on this fine evening? "

" The pleasure is all mine, Mr.Xed. I apologize for the disgraceful behavior earlier."

" I came today to say sorry for all the trouble Grayson caused you yesterday because of me. I never thought our classmates would act out like this. "

" Haha, haha!! You are too funny, Miss Shirley. He was too weak to be compared with me. It's no big deal.", Xed paused.

His mouth then quirked into his very iconic 'sweet' smile, and said, " Moreover wasn't it you miss Shirley, who arranged with the teacher, to match him up against me? "

" Quite a nice trick, if I may say. I believe Grayson became a nuisance to you one way or another?" Xed enquired.

" You knew he was arrogant and he would take every chance to show off and downsize everyone. And coincidentally, you want to know whether the new transfer student can be of use to you too."

" I presume, you and miss Aria are acquainted one way or another. If I win, an apology and a blush are all takes to bring me to closer to your side. If I lose, well, you won't even bother, I guess."

" Isn't that right, Miss Shirley? ", Xed asked while folding his hands.

The innocent, blushing girl was gone. Instead, a cold-hearted stern one was standing there. Her entire demeanor changed from head to toe and inside out.

If anyone didn't witness this scene, they would never believe that both the girls are one and the same.

" You are too clever for your own good, Xed. "

[ 1 ] MC slept after the previous cycle. He doesn't know about the current state of the 'Orgin world'. He was supposed to only wake up at the end of Kaliyuga in the 'Orgin World'. But he woke up in this alternate reality or world made by an unknown minor God.
