Although reluctant, Luke had no choice but to follow the man. He still had no idea where they were going, and the silence of the walk made Luke even more nervous.

After walking for quite a long time, they stopped. They had stopped before a door, but soon it was opened and the inside had amazed Luke. The inside was big, it was like a mix of a forest and the training ground yesterday, Luke could not help but marvel over the place. When he got inside the place, the word big could no longer be used, but the word enormous seemed to fit the place better.

"What is this place?" Luke asked out loud without thinking, and before he realized it, the man had replied.

"This is where you'll be training from now on, so it’s best if you get used to this place," His tone was commanding and harsh but Luke only nodded.

"Alright, we should get started immediately," As Aldon said that, the doors immediately closed. Luke got startled but remained calm.

"First, we'll be starting your training in building up your body, it's too weak," He said, and Luke felt embarrassed.

'Did you have to add the last part?'

"Alright, we'll start with some warmup, ten laps around here, and the rest I'll tell you once you finish," He said with no other meaning, so Luke just nodded and did as told.

'Ten Laps should be nothing,' He thought but was horribly wrong.

When he started, he was fine and still filled with energy but as he kept running, he had no sense of what lap he was on. His body felt tired and numb, his eyesight was a bit blurry, and he was covered in sweat.

When he stopped, his legs gave out, and he fell. He started panting and breathing as much as he could, his chest going up and down as he breathed for air. He did not imagine that the ten laps would be this hard, he immediately regretted his thoughts earlier.

"You still have five more laps to go," Aldon's voice was heard, but Luke could not understand anything.

"What...did...you say?" Luke asked while still panting, after some time his beating heart finally calmed down, and he no longer was panting as hard.

"I said you still have five laps left," After hearing this, Luke immediately stood up and looked at Aldon, with doubt and suspicion on his face.

"Impossible! I'm sure I did do ten laps, you're not messing with me are you?" Luke exclaimed and Aldon just looked at him and went back to meditating.

"Five laps left, otherwise you can do the ten laps again,"

Luke was left speechless, he was sure he did ten, how did it turn out to only be five? Was his endurance so weak?

With a frown on his face, Luke went back to running again, but this time he slowed down. His body was still tired and numb so he kept falling a couple of times, making his clothes and face dirty.

Suddenly he realized something, just as he thought he was about to finish one lap, the trees seemed to be farther away than they actually were. The place seemed to be bigger than when he once came in here, When Luke realized this, his face turned pale, and he immediately stopped and looked at Aldon.

'It looks like he got it,' Aldon thought and nodded in satisfaction, he once again went back to meditating.

What Luke had failed to realize in the beginning was that this place was an illusion place, so as Luke thought he finished one lap he only did half. The gravity of the room also was more than than that of outside, so his energy was drained faster as he ran, but Luke could not feel the difference.

'Ugh, this is torture, if this is warm-up then what would the other training be like?' Luke thought but suddenly shivered once he imagined, he could already tell what his future would be like.

Just as Luke was doing endurance training, Adrian was doing strength training. The place he was in was far different from Luke's, the place was hot and with only huge rocks around. It was barren and without a single bit of nature.

At this time, Adrian had to carry a basket full of rocks, squatting with his hands out to balance, and stay still in the heat. He would get water from time to time but as he got water he also had one more stone added in. He would also fall once his legs couldn't take it anymore and the rocks would also fall out of the basket. Once the rocks fell, he'd have to pick them up one by one and redo it all over until Avriel told him to stop. From the beginning till now he had fallen about twelve times, his legs were aching a bit but he was glad he took basketball when he was in high school and middle school, so squatting was ok but the troublesome part was the basket full of rocks and the heat.

"Master Avriel, how much longer do I have to do this for?" Adrian complained.

"Until I say it's over," Avriel answered while standing on her sword looking down at Adrian.

When Adrian heard her answer, he internally complained again but did not voice it out. When Avriel looked at Adrian, she could tell what he was thinking with just one glance.

"If you want to complain, you can quit right now, you don't have to keep doing this," She told and Adrian looked at her.

"Really? I can quit?" Adrian asked with a happy tone, upon hearing this Avriel sneered, 'He quits so easily, how could he be the chosen one?'

"Of course, you can quit right now, and I'll let you do something easier,"

When hearing this, Adrian thought for a bit.

'Should I quit? But what if Luke is doing something as hard as I am? Would Luke not be disappointed if I quit and do something easier than him?'

With these questions in mind, Adrian couldn't find himself quitting now when he thought of his brother. If he didn't get strong fast and they couldn't get home because of him, what would he do then?

"I won't quit, I'll continue to do this," Adrian replied and went back to his training. While Avriel who thought he would quit was quite surprised.

'Humph, not bad but let's see if you can hold on till the end,'
