"Ugh..." Adrian groans as he slowly opens his eyes to the blinding light.

"Your awake," Luke spoke, and Adrian looked at him, then he got up and pulled on Luke's shirt holding him by the collar.

"You bastard! You left me alone to face him!! How could you?! At least we could've fainted together?! but no, you decide to go to sleep by yourself!" Adrian yelled as he shook Luke and complained. Luke just grinned and apologized, his hands up in a defeated manner.

"Sorry, that's my fault, but if it makes you feel better, I couldn't move either,"

"Liar! you definitely stood up after I got knocked out," Adrian called out, and Luke sweat dropped. 'How did he know?'

"Of course not, you know I'm weak I couldn't move for a while," Luke replied and Adrian then let him go.

"Humph, alright then," Adrian said and Luke breathed a sigh of relief.

"Anyways, we have to meet with the king so quickly get up," Luke said and Adrian nodded, getting up from his bed.

After that, they left their room and started moving to the main hall room. When they got there, there was only the king, his queen, and two other people. When Adrian saw the main hall room, he was amazed, It was big and the windows were very clear, letting light shine through the main hall, it wasn't blinding but the room felt warm. In the center of the room, was the king's throne, and next to it was the queen's throne, both thrones on top of a platform. The two people were below the platform standing near the king.

As they reached near the king and queen, they bowed and greeted the both of them. The queen smiled while the king just gave a slight nod.

"Today will be the official start of your training, I hope something like yesterday won't repeat during next month's evaluation," King Remus said and both Luke and Adrian looked at the king with confusion in their eyes.

'What is with the king always saying something before informing us?' Both of them thought.

"Sorry, your majesty but do you mind telling us what you mean by 'next month's evaluation'? And what about yesterday, didn't your majesty say that our training started yesterday?" Adrian asked and Luke nodded along, also wondering the same thing.

"Yesterday was just a test, today is the official start," He answered nonchalantly and both the brothers didn't know how to react, they could not tell what the king was planning nor what he was thinking. First was the unexpected 'training' and now an evaluation next month. What else was next? Make them learn magic even when they couldn't? although that idea would be quite good.

"Before we start, we'll have to check something," He continued and the queen who sat next to him stood up and walked forward, his steps light and elegant.

"Let's start with you first," He said as he looked at Adrian suddenly making him a bit startled.

"D-do w-what?" Adrian stuttered and the queen smiled.

"Relax your mind and body and look at my eyes," He commanded and Adrian complied. He closed his eyes first and then slowly breathed in and out, relaxing his body. Once his body had been relaxed he slowly opened his eyes and looked into the queen's eyes, suddenly his mind blanked and his surrounding became a blur.

Luke who was standing on the side became curious as to what he was doing, he was also wondering what was happening to Adrian, it looked like he had fallen into a trance or had become a statue.

The next thing the queen did was, he placed his hand on Adrian's head and closed his eyes as if focusing on something. Suddenly a light energy flowed into Adrian from the queen's hand. Luke held his breath, not daring to make a single sound.

After a couple of minutes, the energy was gone and the queen had opened his eyes, Adrian had also become back to normal, he seemed very confused.

"Alright, your next, now just do what your brother did. Relax your mind and body and look at my eyes,"

Luke nodded and slowly relaxed his body and cleared his mind from any thought and looked into his eyes. He continued to stare for about three minutes before the queen started frowning.

"Let me try something else," The queen said and he placed his hands on Luke's head, and just like what he did to Adrian, energy flowed from the queen to Luke. At first, Luke became wary of the energy, it felt horrible but the queen's soothing voice was heard, "Relax, don't think about anything,"

Luke then completely relaxed and looked at the queen but all he saw was a frown on his face. Luke suddenly got wary again and the queen's body fell.

"Auris!" The king shouted and teleported and caught the queen's body before it touched the ground.

"Auris, can you hear me? are you alright?" He asked worriedly with a worried expression on his face. The queen smiled lightly and reassure the king, while everyone else didn't know how to react. Especially Luke, he didn't know what happened and before he knew it, the queen fell.

"I'm fine, I just felt tired for a bit," Auris replied and the king breathed out a sigh of relief. He picked Auris up, in a bridal style, and before he left he said, "Aldon and Avriel, I'll leave the rest to you,"

Aldon and Avriel bowed and agreed. The king then left with the queen.

"What just happened?" Adrian asked and Luke shrugged but he somehow felt that it was a hundred percent his fault but his mind was somewhere else.

'Just now...Why did I feel stronger?' Luke thought but was interrupted by the two people left in the main hall.

"Alright, we can't waste time, you young man will be coming with me," Avriel said and looked towards Adrian.

"Me? but what about Luke?" Adrian questioned and Aldon answered instead.

"He'll be coming with me," Once Adrian heard that Adrian smiled and immediately agreed.

"Alright bye Luke," Adrian said and excitedly waved goodbye and left with Avriel. Luke inwardly cried and wanted to follow Adrian too, 'Was it because I left Adrian alone yesterday so now it's my turn?'

Luke turned towards the man and when he saw the man looking at him, Luke felt a chill go down his spine. Luke again felt the fear of yesterday when he was blown away by this man and the feeling of his body hitting against the tree returned. Luke inwardly cried out a second time, and refused to follow the man, who knew what he would do!
