On Adrian's hand was the ring that Luke had gotten him. He didn't remember putting on the ring this morning, but suddenly it was there.

"I remember It was still on the table and I had forgotten to put it on so how is it here?" Then Adrian suddenly remembered something.

"Oh! right, last night, the gem was glowing and flickering, it was pretty cool," Said Adrian and Luke raised his eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" Luke scrutinized and Adrian froze.

"W-w-well l-last night when w-we went to sleep I studied the ring a bit and when I put it on my table it started glowing when the moonlight hit it, after that, it started flickering," Adrian explained.

"That happened and you didn't bother telling me?" Luke criticized and Adrian had an apologetic look on his face.

"I forgot, before I could tell you, that circle thing appeared and then I got transported here and we started talking with Serenity then I just forgot to tell you," Adrian pouted and Luke just sighed. His brother really was a handful.

"Alright, get some rest also give me the ring, let me have a look at it," Luke said and Adrian gave him the ring and went to sleep. Although it was still day out but after nearly falling to death and having to hear that they would need to help or even save the land, it tired them greatly, or more like it added on to the stress that they originally had.

Looking at the ring, Luke found nothing special about it only that it looked pretty. But he couldn't help but feel as if he had seen this ring somewhere before. Just where had he seen this ring?

With no answer, he could only feel curious and leave the questions in his head alone. He then put the ring under his pillow and went to sleep. Unbeknownst to the two, tomorrow would be a rough day.

In another room, the fairy queen was in a meeting with the elf king and elders. They were currently talking about their predicament and the two brothers who were sleeping soundly in another room.

"Have they made any movements yet?" Asked Aldon, the first elder.

"they haven't yet, it seems they are staying on the low this time," Answered another elder.

"Well they must be planning something, I don't mean to be rude your highness, but are you sure that those two will be able to help us?" Avriel, the fifth elder, asked the fairy queen.

"They are God's chosen ones, we must have faith in them," She spoke but Avriel was quick to reject the idea.

"But on the accounts that they fail, what should we do then? our land is getting weak your highness, we can't afford to win this war if those two fail," All the other elders nodded in agreement.

"We'll still fail even without them, they came here just like in the prophecy, so we have no choice but to believe in them, if they fail we'll have to fight till the end using everything we have," She said and everyone turned quiet.

"We'll do as she says, does everyone understand the plan?" King Remus asked and everyone nodded, with that the two-hour-long meeting came to an end.

As everyone disappeared, Serenity and King Remus stayed behind to talk about something different.

"Are you sure that they are destined to help them?" King Remus questioned and Serenity nodded.

"You know that they're special, you can't stop it, Remus," Serenity stated and Remus clenched his fists with a worried feeling.

"I know that but Auris will never agree, he won't let them do anything dangerous. Persuading him would be hard,"

"I'm sure that you can do it, even if you can't I'm sure that they will do it,"

with that last sentence said Serenity left the room leaving Remus alone to think to himself.

"Luke take care of your brother ok, we'll be back soon,"

"Wait mom, dad, where are you going?" He went to go hold their hands but just as he did their hands slipped through his fingers.

"We'll be back soon so by then stay with your grandparents alright?"

their backs soon started fading and their appearance became more of a blur. He could not remember what they look like.

"Grandma, when are they coming back?" The five-year-old Luke was looking out the window, hoping his parents had come back, but all he saw was cars go by with no signs of his parents.

"I don't know but they'll be back soon," She said with a smile but Luke couldn't help but feel impatient.

The scene then changed into when Luke was much older.

"Luke, your old enough now to take care of Adrian yourself, we'll leave him in your care alright," His grandpa told him but he just stood there listening.

"Alright but at least tell me where you two are going," He said.

"You don't have to worry about it, just take care of Adrian," Luke pursed his lips wanting to say more but in the end, he stayed quiet and they left.

"brother? where did grandma and grandpa go?" Adrian appeared and Luke's breathing became rugged. He wanted to cry and scream for them to come back but he stopped himself.

"They just went on a vacation, they'll be back so just go back to sleep," Adrian nodded and left but Luke was still standing at the same spot with his head up trying to hold back the tears.

"they'll be back," He whispered but he had a feeling they wouldn't.

Then his environment changed and he saw that his parents and grandparents had come back but he and Adrian were no longer there.

He saw how frantic they looked and how worried they were. The police started getting involved, and his mom started crying while his grandmother hugged her, comforting her. His grandfather and father were talking to the police. The scene was chaotic that it made Luke wanna go to them and say that they were ok.

"We're ok so don't cry, We'll be home soon," Luke tried to say but they could not hear him. Suddenly Luke felt his heart beating with pain. It was hurting, why did it hurt? The pain was light but at the same time, it was like little needles poking his heart.

*ha..* *ha..*

"It was just a dream," Luke breathed out a sigh of relief, the dream felt so real. But then he felt a lingering pain in his heart, the pain was real and not only in his dream?
