The mood in the house was absolutely unbearable and to the two brothers, it was absolutely suffocating. The two brothers, Luke and Adrian, had just had an argument, although it may not seem like a big deal but to them it was.

After the argument the two had, one was in the living room while the other had gone to their room. Luke, who was in the living room, was cleaning an old worn out ring that looked like it was made generations ago. After cleaning it, it had looked newly made which made Luke a bit surprised.

Luke had bought this ring on instinct. Yesterday, he had gone to the market, and he saw an old man selling some old things, and he happened to see the ring. At first he didn't want to buy it but after looking at it twice She felt as if the ring looked familiar but could not figure out where he had seen it. So he bought it and now he was cleaning it.

Looking at the ring again Luke felt as if he had bought a new ring instead, He was still shocked about it.

"Let's hope Adrian likes this," He said with a sigh. He wanted to give Adrian this ring as an apology gift.

As he got to Adrian's room he knocked on the door three times.

"Adrian, open the door please, I need to talk to you," He said while waiting outside feeling anxious. He didn't know if Adrien would like the ring or not and with each passing second, he became more nervous. After waiting with no answer he knocked again.

He then knocked on the door a few more times, after a while Adrian finally opened the door.

"What?" Adrian asked with an annoyed tone, although he wasn't mad anymore the knocking had annoyed him.

"Here," Luke said while showing Adrian the ring. As Adrian looked at the ring, he immediately liked it. He didn't know why but he just did.

"This...Are you.. giving me this?" Adrian Asked and Luke nodded.

"This is my apology gift for you, I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier," Luke apologized while Adrian didn't know what to feel.

"Thank you and I'm sorry as well," Adrian said and the mood that was unbearably suffocating had lightened by a lot.

Adrian then took the ring and looked at it closer. it was a simple design, the ring was gold while in the middle was a gem that he didn't know. The gem was light blue and it's shape was weird but it was beautiful and clear. Adrian then frowns.

"How much was this?" Adrian warily asked. He knew just how much they had and it wouldn't be enough to buy a ring as shiny and beautiful as this, even the cheap ones they could afford didn't even come close to this ring.

Luke laughed at Adrian's wary expression and said, "Would you believe me if I got it for free?"

Adrian looked at Luke and then at the ring and then at Luke again.

"HOW THE HECK IS THIS FOR FREE?! Who would sell a ring as good as this, FOR FREE?! Tell me the real price, how expensive is this ring?" Adrian said and Luke just kept laughing at his reaction.

"I'm really not lying. I saw this old man selling it and I had wanted to pay for it but he just offered it to me for free, at first it didn't even look like that, it was old and worn out. I had just cleaned it so it looks better, even I was shocked when it turned out like that," Luke explained and although Adrian still didn't believe him, he knew that Luke wouldn't lie to him about these kind of stuff so he stopped the topic there.

Knowing that the ring was for free Adrian had a sigh of relief, he liked the ring a lot but if Luke had said it cost him about 10,000 or more to buy this ring, Adrian would have to toughen his heart and return the ring. this was how he was, the things he owned he was very possessive of it and the people he cared for, he was very protective of them but if he couldn't afford to own it or it was a burden on his brother he would absolutely return the things he owned without a bit of hesitation even if he had liked it a lot, like the ring he got for example.

Once the two had talked and forgiven each other, they both decided to go to bed.

Deep in the night Adrian was still looking at the ring. He felt as if the ring was mysterious and yet magical.

While laying in bed and holding the ring, the part where the curtains had failed to cover, the moonlight had come in and it's light was on the ring, making it shine like glowing in the dark, this discovery made Adrian stunned.

Adrian then removed the curtains and had let the moonlight hit the ring again, this time as he looked at the ring he saw the gem flickering.

'Just what kind of gem is this? it's so cool,' Adrian thought while smiling. His brother had definitely bought a treasure.

As he felt his eyelids becoming heavy he decided to go to sleep, he then put the ring on the table next to him and as his head hit the pillow he immediately fell asleep. But he failed to noticed the ring that had stopped flickering and the gem was now showing a place, a beautiful, magical place.

In another place a guard ran swiftly through the corridors and immediately opened the wooden doors with a bang startling the people inside. The guard had immediately kneeled down on one knee while having one hand covering his chest, he immediately reported to the people inside.

"Reporting to your majesty, The sky has turned immensely dark, the elders have suggested for your majesty to check it out," The guard said and the king had frowned while looking at his queen who was next to him, he was also frowning.

"Lets go check it out dear," The queen spoke and together they both went outside. The night, that was supposed to be filled with stars, was dark which had shocked them both. But then another shocking moment had happened.

Fire, water, air, and earth had come from all different directions mixing together and turning into a large sword while ice, lightning, and nature had turned into a smaller sword standing next to the bigger sword. As the swords aimed at the sky, the two swords combined together and before it had hit the dark sky, the combined sword turned into light and the dark sky completely shattered, showing the light the dark had hidden.

Seeing this, king Remus frowned even more. He knew that the phenomenon that had just happened was a good sign to their predicament but he couldn't help feeling that something was off.

"What do you think it means?" Queen Auris asked while looking at his husband.

"It has begun," A melodic voice spoke.

Hearing the voice, the two turned around to find the one who had spoken was the fairy queen.

"Are you sure it has begun?" Remus asked while seriously looking at the fairy queen.

She nodded and said, "Sooner or later that person will come, we can only hope that, that person can do it,"

with this said the sky had turned back into the night sky but the phenomenon that had happened would soon become the talk of the land.
