9 :Where's the Boy who's like "Fire!"?

~Valir's POV~

It was very unusual for Eudora to do this type of things. Have everyone drink, have fun and just enjoy the day with the students. Very, very unlikely to happen but it happened.

Now you can say it, its kind of getting dark and everyone's leaving already. Except for Harley and the Professor of course because they are very hard drinkers I must say. But why not it's a celebration for our invitation so it might be appropriate for the event.

"Hey, Valir *hiccups* Here drink this *hiccups*" Harley drunkly said.

"What is it now, get off me, I don't want to drink"

"If that's what you want *hiccups* You're missing out!" Harley said while going back with his drunk buddy the Professor.

Alcohol is not very appealing to me. It just ignites my magic even more and I don't want it to over glow just like that one time at the Bar. I literally burned the whole building down. Good thing the Guards extinguished it quickly. And never again I will drink.

I went a look at everyone to tell them about what we will do at the event and what will we perform. If we will perfom by a group or solo as always. Probably solo because everyone wants a spotlight of their own.

"Hey Harley!"

"Y-yes?!" Harley replied

"You're still drinking? And where is the Professor?"

"Over there" Harley pointed at the garden of Roses full of thorns.

"Just leave him there to sleep, he'll be fine." Harley added then passed out.

*sighs*

"Now this is the representatives of the Academy you boasts about brother?"

I knew that voice from a mile away. And he shouldn't be here and he should never be here again. I immediately placed my right hand at my back. I readied an arcane flame from it to make sure he has no funny business going on. I stood still in silence as I stare at him.

"Oh why are in silence my brother? Didn't you miss me?" Vale teased.

I didn't speak up for I didn't want his pride to go up like the last time we met. It was a disgracing experience that no one must every experience again.

"Ugh. Maybe this will make you talk!" Vale shouted while revealing Eudora in Wind Cage.

"Eudora!"

"I'm sorry brother but she can't hear you from this wind cage." Vale said.

"Let her go now" I said as I showed him the flame in my hands.

"If you give me the letter of invitation in the Magical Parade, I might set her free." Vale threatened.

"What do you mean might?! Release her now!"

I fired the arcane flame directly at him. But he countered it with a wind blade as his hands. I knew he'd do that so I fired another one at his side but he countered it again.

"Was that all, brother?" Vale boasted.

"You are not even my brother and you'll never be!"

I quickly grabbed a branch from a nearby brush and threw it at him. Then set it on fire making cinders all over his way. But then he extinguished the flames using the winds. I readied another flame from my right hand and i drank the liquor near me to intensify it.

"What do you want?!"

"I told you that letter will suffice my visit here." Vale said.

"For what?! What's your purpose?"

"Oh nothing, I just wanted to join in the Parade"

As I was about to throw out the arcane blast from my hand. I heard a familiar laugh from behind. It was Eudora's. I knew it was her laugh because it sticks the each student she defeats in class.

"W-what's the meaning of this?"

I puzzlingly looked at both Vale and Eudora as the laughed and laughed. I was so confused.

"Woooh brother, You should've seen your face" Vale laughingly said.

"That was a good one, Vale" Eudora added.

"W-what? But I thought you are in the"

"You mean she was in here?" Vale said.

He showed that the Eudora inside was a wind illusion after all. It was too realistic. He did became better than before.

"But what? Why? WHY ARE YOU HERE?!"

"I just wanted to visit you on how you are doing here at the Academy." Vale replied.

"Go away before I'll burn you into cinders"

"Aw but didn't you miss me?" Vale said.

Vale tries to hug me but I immediately dodged it and set his hair of fire. I gave him a smirk and he blew the fire away like blowing a candle.

"We aren't kids anymore you know."

"I know I just wanted to let my best friend know that I'm here for him." Vale explained.

"I know, I know but its embarassing okay?"

"Why are you embarassed?!" Vale said while giving me a nookie in the head.

I didn't want Vale to come here because I wanted to meet him at the Pact. I wanted to meet him there as we prove to each other thay we are both strong. I didn't want him here because he'd see my training.

"I guess I'd be off then, see you at the Palace my brother." Vale said.

"What do you mean meet you at the Palac-"

He just went off to the winds and didn't looked back. He just left in the winds. Giving no sign again of returning. Which is good.

*sighs*

"So Eudora, what in the world was that?"

As I looked at Eudora. She was just silent and she was just looking at me very weirdly. She went closer and said.

"OH MY LOOOOORD! Both of you are so cute together! AAAAAAAAAA the way he talks at you AAAAAAAAAA i love it AAAAAAAA I want more action AAAAAAAA" Eudora screamed.

I stepped away silent as she was talking about how me and Vale are so close that she thinks we have a thing for each other, but we are only good friends.

As I walked to Harley and Professor Gord to pick them up. Eudora was just behind me screaming what she said like charisma, the pairing, the connection and blah blah blah.

I just picked both drunkards and blocked my ears with flames as I walked to the dorm room to put them all in bed and so I can sleep too.
