6 :I'm the Top Student of the Academy after all

~Guinevere's POV~

Its so peaceful here at the Academy. The morning sun is shining. Plants are blooming and the wind is fresh. And no students ruining this beautiful scenery. I love weekends on the Academy.

The violets are also starting to bloom, I should tend them. Watering them will ensure their stable growth.

The garden looks refreshed now. But it seems to be missing something.

"Aha! I know. "

*snaps fingers*

"There we go even more violets in the garden. Its now as perfect as it can be. Just like me. Elegant and poised as a flower."

I then entered the halls to see each room and how they've changed since the first day. All of the rooms are clean and no damage can be seen. But believe me, most magical trainings happen at these very rooms.

They might be cleared using illusion or trick magic. Or they just cleaned it. I don't there are multiple answers to such a simple question.

Then I stumbled upon our room. And I saw Harley inside. He's like waiting for someone to come. How weird. Why is he here in a weekend?

I should ask him but I wouldn't interrupt him. He looks seriously worried though. What could he be thinking of? Maybe he is really waiting for someone.

*blushes*

"No GWEN!, you are engaged. There is no need for this petty feelings that's consuming you."

I continued to walk further to the hallway to check the rooms once again. As I walk near my dad's office, I saw something peculiar. It was a series of letters. At first I didn't bother to look at them. I reverted myself to the fishes on the aquarium to be distracted from such temptation. But my attempt failed.

I walked towards the table and grabbed the letters. They are sealed and scented by a particular scent. A golden scent of a fresh morning breeze. Just like the one I felt in the garden.

It reminded of something but I cant put my finger on it. Its such a distant memory that I can only recognise it by this scent. They all smell fragrant as I described.

I opened one of the letters and read the written words.

"-Dear Top Students

~"Greetings of peace from the Empire, in three days we held something special to honor the Academy's graduating Top Magicians. We would like to invite all of you to attend the Magical Parade of Swans here at the Swan Castle inside the Minoyan Empire. Magic and wonder will be filled throughout the day. Each of you are expected of a presentation of magic to honor your hardwork and skills to the people of Minoya. Your presence is quite appreciated."

I was astonished the whole time I was reading this letter. An invitation by the Princess was given to us and we are invited to show our great magic potential. This is such good news to us.

I quickly opened the other ones and they all are invitations for the Magical Parade. I feel so honored to represent the Academy as one of its, no as the Top Student of the Magic Academy.

I need to give this to the others. I need to distribute this as fast I can. Father needs to know about this. He will be filled with joy if he knew about this. This will be a good step for our family and into a good future.

I resealed all of the letters and grabbed the all in a bag that's conveniently with the letters. The smell was still there. So strong and elegant, even if its changed and reformed.

I went outside the office. I walked quickly to the main gate to go outside but then I heard a blast from one of the rooms.

I went to check and I saw our Professor and Valir sparring again. I watched them carefully on what are they trying to prove again. They are really stubborn when it comes to competing. A Master of Mystics and a Top Fire Elementalist.

"Aren't you tired Valir?"

"Not even breaking a sweat, Master."

They are so competitive. No wonder they are icons here at the Academy. Then I noticed someone was in the room too. He was just spectating the fight between the two.

At first I didn't noticed him because he's short. No offense to him but its true. Although behind that little physique. He has great potential in Magic. He can manipulate time and space such as gravity elements. He always performed very well in our studies. He may be light headed but he is something.

Then I noticed that fire was starting to build up to the other rooms. They were to busy fighting that they didn't noticed that fire spread across the walls.

I went quickly to the emergency Water Spell station to extinguish the fire. I broke the glass to get the spell.

But before I could perform the spell someone extinguished the fire instead. I watched him in marvel as he uses his Deadly Magic to absorb the cinders. I was surprised because I didn't knew that he can do such spell.

As he was about to exit the room, I scampered towards at the end of the hallway. Its to not be noticed that I observed him unanticipatedly.

I walked towards him to greet him. I was annoyed becaused he called my in my name again, Its too long in such wastes time.We also discussed about what he did in the classroom. He thought we were kidnapped. Again I am right for him being light headed.

I said goodbye by making an excuse that I have to meet my father as soon as possible. What? Its true okay. I walked to the exit outside the Academy.

Then I remembered something.

"The Letters!"

I forgot to give them so I ran again and gave him the letter. I only gave one because they are only three. I guess he can inform Valir with this news.

I again walked again for real to meet my father at his meeting hall.
