1 Protectors of the Land of Dawn
As the sun sets in the Eastern mountains of Vishnaya, the four mages proclaimed to be protectors of the Land of Dawn gathered and addressed their final concerns regarding the coming all-female mage war, Femme Fatale. The Eastern mage warrior Lunox, dressed with her ash blossom outfit, concluded, "Ergo, the war would be consisting of three teams, of which, the leaders are Alice, Pharsa and Kagura. Each team will be membered by four mages, and they will all battle at the Land of dawn simultaneously. When a mage falls on her knees, she is considered out of the game until only one mage or team remains."
"Ah-huh. Correct", agreed Aurora, Queen in the North, carrying Aquarius' sigil.
"Our duty would be to protect the women from any major harm, and to predict any bad outcome from the war that may affect our Land and our people", urged Esmeralda, the guardian of the Western lands, typically in her alluring violet and red dress.
Albeit a bit irate today because of the Eastern heat and humidity, Kadita managed to jest. "Oh, dear. That's quite unfair. You see, you're actually the only one who can glance at the future", she bantered. The four of them giggled.
Esmeralda flaunted her voluminous hair, "I know I'm an astrologer, and I can see the future, but I'm sorry to let you down, it only happens every time I meditate for quite a long time. Ha ha ha. So is that it. Are we done?"
The warm Eastern winds drew closer to their gathering. The windows slammed, and the purple doves situated at the fixtures flew away. Lunox stood up away from the table and her gaze shifted bizarre as if something bothered her abruptly. In a nervous tone, she asked "How about Alice? Are we not concerned of her?"
"Why should we be? After all, this is just a competition held by His Majesty", replied Aurora, with one of her brows raised.
Esmeralda and Lunox shared a stare. Esme cleared her thoat, "Yes. She might cast an ulterior motive in this game, and I don't intend to let her be. If something or someone gives me a clue pointing out to her wretchedness, I shall come before her and warn her, and perhaps, lecture her."
The strong waves at the Eastern sea of Helena, can be heard from the castle. The dark blue waters somehow carried along with them an enigmatic feeling. "The Southern seas are my domain. Anyone who shall disrespect my waters will receive no mercy and face justice by my seven legendary spears."
"And, as always, I am willing to sacrifice myself for this world I love. I will stop at nothing to defend this Land", exclaimed Lunox, holding her head up high.
"Just like Kadita, anyone who transgresses the laws of the North, shall FREEZE", warned Aurora.
"The night sky tells all", ended Esmeralda.
Each of them went back to their regions and contemplated for hours about their erstwhile discussions. Midnight approached, and Esmeralda, watched the stars fall at the West. She noticed but one star whose aura is stained blood red, approaching the silver, crescent moon. She suddenly shivered, and her eyebrows were forced to meet.
