Our protagonist, Kagura, lives in the mighty Celestial Palace. Though she is living in the "Royal" parts of the land, she has been working her butt off every single day. Kagura once lived a peaceful life in the Western expanse, where all she did was run around the farm along with her friends. Where she would bask in the sunlight and eat popsicles all day, but unfortunately for her, luck was not on her side. Once a year, the Royal family's head maid, Pharsa along with the General, Zilong would travel all the way to the West to scout some people to help out in the palace. Kagura, sadly, was one of the selected few. She was then taken away to the Celestial Palace to serve the Royal Family.

The Royal Family consists of Four members. King Lancelot, Queen Oddette, Prince Gusion, and Princess Miya. Kagura, was assigned to be the princess' personal maid, and to her surprise the princess was very nice. The princess didn't believe in titles, she didn't like how she's treated differently because royal blood flew through her veins. They became the best of friends in no time.

So here is where we start off...

Kagura's P.O.V

"Miya~ we've been shopping for hours! My feet hurts, let's rest." I invite my bestfriend, who is also a princess, to sit down on one of the benches. The royal turned and looked at me.

"Fine. But only for a few minutes. I wanna find a great outfit for tomorrow." She agreed to my request. I plopped onto the bench and stretched. After four hours of standing around and walking, I finally rested my tired feet. Miya joined in and sat down besides me.

"I can't believe we're finally able to go to Land of Dawn High." She squealed. Right beside my ears too. I smiled and nodded. "It honestly feels like a dream." I told her. "Yeah. We can finally dorm together. No more sneaking out of the palace. No more a princess must be this, a princess must be that. We'll be free... kinda" She agrees with my statement. "Mhm. No more titles too." I added in. She linked arms with me and smiled. I gave her a smile back and stood up. My feet is well rested and night time is right around the corner, we need to hurry.

We walked into a weird shop. Neon lights illuminated the whole room. Weapons were dangling from the sides and rows and rows of outfits were lined up on the right. Me and the princess walked to a counter and there we met a cyclops. He was short and had this big blue bag or something tied on his back.

"Hi and welcome to Land Of Dreams, how may I help you?" His voice was monotonous and sounded like he was in the same age group as me and Miya. He stood from his position and went on the other side of the counter. "If you look to your left, there you can see all the weapons on sale. If you look to your right, that is where all of the outfits fit for heroes are aligned. If you have any more questions please go ahead and ask. If you don't whatsoever I will return to the counter." He explained what was already obvious in the same monotonous voice as before. He seemed bored of his job. Honestly, I would be too.

Miya thanked the unhappy cyclops and skipped her way to the clothing areas. I honestly don't know how one could be so excited because of clothes. I ran up to her happy form, choosing clothes that take to her liking.

"Kagura, you have to choose one too! I'll be sad if you go to the academy looking like THAT. No offense, but your outfit is horrible." She gave me a hopeful look. My attire consisted of the plain palace maid dress, black shoes, and the cute little headband. I know it's weird but I couldn't just use Miya to give me good clothes. No matter what I am still her maid. I don't want people to think that I became her friend for the benefits. Although Miya wanted to "free" me. I told her that I was fine and that she should just let it slide.

"Fine." I sigh and started to look around as well. "But I'm paying." I added in. She looked horrified. "For all the years that you have been my friend, for all the years where you've cleaned up after me, the least I can do is buy you your clothes." She said, her tone was sorrowful and she gave me the puppy eyes. "Miya I can't-" "Use you as a benefactor. I'm fine. No Kagura, I wanna buy you something at least ONCE." She cut me off before I could say anything else. I sighed "Fine. Just this once" I give in to her. And she jumped in joy, really she did.

After a while of looking around me and Miya found the perfect outfit. She had a blue dress and I settled for a cute blue kimono. I know, a kimono? for school? get outta here. But like, it was calling me. We moved on to the weapons. I was excited to say the least. But the royal was ecstatic.

"This is the exact same store where Mom and Dad got their weapons too!" She exclaimed skipping around. "Miya stop skipping around you'll knock stuff- " I was cut by the sound of clanking metal falling on the ground. "over..." I shook my head in disappointment. "Hehe sorry." The clumsy royal giggled and I once again shook my head. But then I saw it. It was a purplish blue wagasa. Though I am wondering why it's in the weapons area, I am whipped. It was as if the wagasa was made just for me. I reached for it, and held it tightly in my hands. When I turned to look at Miya she was the same, but in her hands was a bow and quiver. In her eyes was the look of complete adoration, it was as if she was holding her own child. Yet I could not judge her cause I was just the same. I held the umbrella like I was gonna die if I let it go.

When we woke from our state of adoration, we went to the counter and paid for the fee. We went out of the store, happy and satisfied from our decisions. Climbing the horses we sneaked from the palace, we made our way home.
