Chapter One: The Other Side

Now that you've met our female protagonist let's now move on to our male protagonist, Hayabusa. Hayabusa is the youngest son of the Akakages. A great lineage of assassins. He lives in a small and comfy house in the Western expanse. His father, Hanzo, runs an assassin school that trains suitable warriors for battle. He had been trained to become the best of the best ever since he was a child. Hanabi was his partner ever since he can remember. When his father would scold him it would be Hanabi by his side trying to defend him from the wrath of his dad. Hayabusa had a great relationship with Hanabi, she was like a sister to him. Along with Hanabi, Hayabusa had two other friends who he met through a mission. The demon hunter, Alucard and the Wolf huntress, Ruby. These two were explicitly skilled in fighting and they were also inseparable. The four of them became great friends over time. Even though Alucard was cold at first, they worked it out. What made them attached to each other was the similar feeling of hatred towards the royals.

Today the gang is discussing about their first day at Land of Dawn High. The three were excited to meet new friends and possibly learn more skills. As the three were happily talking, a troubled boy sat there deep in thought. Hanabi was the first to notice the boy's weird behaviour.

"What's wrong?" her voice was laced with worry. She looked at him waiting for an answer. Hayabusa shook his head. "Nothing really. I'm just thinking about what father said. Hanabi's face turned serious and she sighed. "Do you think you can handle it?" she asked in a whisper. The assassin nodded his head. "I'm just wondering how and when is the best to do it." He let out his concerns. Hanabi nodded her head and just shrugged. "Why not think of that when we get more information about it?" She told the boy who sat beside her. The troubled boy sighed and nodded his head in agreement, but his mind still wandered to his father's words.

*Flashbang*

"You called for me father?" The small voice of the young assassin called out as he entered the room of his father.

"I've told you many times before. It's master! Get that through your head!" His so called father, growled in anger at the boy's choice of words. "I'm sorry, master" Hayabusa kneeled on the ground and hung his head low. He always hated how his father treated him, but there was nothing much he could do. After his mother, Selena, left to go to the Celestial Palace his father went mad. All he would do is shout at him and trained him even harder.

"I called you here to give you a mission" The man in front of him spoke. "Tomorrow is your first day in Land of Dawn High, right?" He asked before continuing his first sentence. Hayabusa nodded his head yes. "Great. The princess, you know her, will be attending as well tomorrow." He started again. "I want you to execute her." He finished off. The statement shocked Hayabusa. He knew his father hated the royals, but he didn't think he would go as far as killing the princess. Yet the schocked Hayabusa did nothing to question his father's words.

"Yes, master" he accepted and his father grinned, then laughed. "Let's see the look on that Lancelot's face when he finds his daughter dead!" It horrified Hayabusa to see his father slowly go insane. "You are dismissed" his father shooed him away and he left. 'There's no problem here. I also hate the royals. I can do this' His mind lied to him. Hayabusa had always forced himself to hate the royals. He kept on saying lies to make him believe that he does.

*Flashbang ends*

Hayabusa was once again waken from his thinking when his pal, Alucard slapped him on his back.

"Right, dude?" Alucard asked him with a grin and even though Hayabusa was confused of what he said before those he nodded his head in agreement. Alucard laughed out loud while Ruby and Hanabi shrieked.

"What?" The confused ninja asked his friends of such weird actions.

"You just agreed to Alucard that youbwere gay for him" Hanabi told the boy the consequences of his words. "Alu..." He mumbled before just he gave in and laughed along with his buddy Alucard. The three of his friends spent all day helping the ninja forget about his upcoming hardships.

You may think that just like Miya and Kagura in the prologue, these four will also be shopping for their attire and weapons. But sadly they won't be. It is one of the reasons why the gang hated the royals. Everything the royals ever needed is in Celestial Palace while the people in the western expanse has to survive the very little that they have. These four friends believe that the people from the Celestial Palace has been pampered by their parents since birth while they have to go through so much hardships.

After spending the whole day fooling arou, the gang split and headed towards their abode. Their mind buzzing with excitement for the day that awaits them. They rolled and rolled but they couldn't find themselves to calm down and sleep. And so, Alucard spent all night polishing his demon hunter sword. Ruby stitched the final touches of the dress she made to wear tomorrow. Hanabi went out for some fresh air. And Hayabusa thought about his troublesome mission.

The next day they find themselves standing at the front gate of Land of Dawn High, haggard and sleepy but excited for what may come their way.
