2 First Responders

A loud banging at the door disturbed the ever silent Celestial Palace. The noise made Rafaela stop from praying to the gods. It's unusual that someone will disrespectfully make noises especially when the torch on top of the palace is burning. It's the praying hours of the guardians and no one should disturb those holy moments.

"Let me go! This is important!" shouted Esmeralda to one of the Nazar guards.

A voice of a young lady echoed through the night. Rafaela, being a respected guardian and maiden who facilitates everything that's happening inside the temple stood up and slowly flew to the door. She saw the guards holding a young astrologer by her arm. When the guards saw Rafaela, they immediately stood straight and let go of the young Esmeralda.

"What is it that made you rush here in the middle of the night, young astrologer?" Asked Rafaela.

"A war is coming. I don't know who or what but something's coming and it's going to bring disaster in the whole Land of Dawn!"

The guards who heard Esmeralda wanted to laugh, but their faces show a smirking dog's face wanting to mock the astrologer. Rafaela, on the other hand, though doubtful, chose to be civil and respectfully asked Esmeralda how she got the vision and what made her conclude that.

"I had a dream but it was so real. I felt it. Something's coming. It's gonna slay all those who come their way!" Esmeralda was full of emotions and fear that she was not able to explain what she saw in her dream to Rafaela.

In order to calm the astrologer down, Rafaela gave Esmeralda a sense of assurance.

"Astrologer, the Uranus has been sleeping for the past 1000 years. Do you know what that means?" asked Rafaela.

Esmeralda shook her head.

"It means, there's nothing that will endanger the Land of Dawn. The Uranus only wakes up when there is something that can destroy the Land of Dawn. If it is not awake, then there's nothing to worry about. Aside from that, we're the guardians, it's not something that we will not handle."

"With all due respect, Rafaela. What's coming is something that even the guardians can't handle! I saw it with my own eyes!"

Rafaela chose not to believe Esmeralda and asked the astrologer to just go home and rest. Esmeralda refused. She knows that what she saw in her dream was real and it's going to happen.

"Please, Rafaela, believe me." pleaded Esmeralda.

After a few more explaining, Esmeralda went home crying in fear. She knows something's odd but no one is believing her. Little did Esmeralda know that Rafaela took her dream into consideration because an hour before Esmeralda came banging on the door, Rafaela had the very same vision that woke her up that night. That's the reason why she's praying when Esmeralda arrived. She didn't have the full explanation to the dream like Esmeralda but she knows that something massive is going to happen. She just chose to brush Esmeralda off so it will not cause panic. The guards of the Celestial Palace was there with them and he doesn't want them murmuring about a war that they are not even sure if coming.

"Nazar guard." exclaimed Rafaela. "Please discreetly call Hylos, Freya, and Kaja to my office now."

The Nazar guards immediately went to the new guardians of the Land of Dawn. Rafaela doesn't always hold meetings for the whole team that is why when they were summoned, everyone readily complied. It should be something important.

"What's coming? All the possible enemies that could decimate us and destroy the Land of Dawn are either killed or imprisoned." Kaja's worried. The Nazar army has become so comfortable that no one challenges them for a very long time. He doesn't know if his army can handle a war that Rafaela described.

" What about Argus? He's from here. He once was one of us."

"You can't just make fast accusations like that, Rafaela. I know that you and Argus have some unfinished business, but Argus is not someone who will destroy the land of Dawn." said Hylos. Hylos is one of the most intelligent in the Land of Dawn and his thoughts are always respected even by the guardians of the Celestial Palace.

"He gave into the lust for power then, why are we going to remove him from the equation now?" said Freya.

"Argus was an angel, he knows the power of the gods. He likes power but he knows he can't handle 'their' power if ever he will go against them." said Kaja.

"Exactly my point. Only a mortal, someone foolish enough to think of conquering the Land of Dawn can think of something as massive as this." replied Hylos. "I believe the best thing to do here is to check where our possible enemies are and go from there."

The new group of guardians decided to check who their possible enemies are by finding out if those who have the capacity to pull off such destruction is planning something when the captain of the Nazar guards came to them gasping for air.

"General, Terizla escaped last night!"

"What?!" Kaja exclaimed. "How did that happen?"
