7 flying

"Who is meeting us at the airport?" asked Ty.

"I think Mr. Alan is."

"Uh. Really, we aren't kids anymore."

"Who is Mr. Alan?" Sage asked.

"Mr. Alan is our old tutor and uncle. He is English and nice but also very over protective." expained Ty.

"He will be bringing your new passports with him and new phones. Oh, and Ty try not to challenge him this time." Lyla said with a smile.

"Challenge?" Lance asked curiously.

Ty sighed and looked out the window.

Lyla laughed.

"Yeah, one time Ty didn't want to do his homework so Alan said if he could beat him in a fencing match then he wouldn't have to do school anymore." She giggled. "Ty lost miserably and just for fun, Alan threw him over his knee and spanked him!" she said laughing.

Everyone laughed except Ty.

"Ha ha very funny, I was 10! That was a long time ago!"

Sage looked at him.

"So you know how to fence Ty?" she asked.

"Yeah, Mr. Alan taught Lyla and I. He calls it a noble man's sport."

At that moment, Lyla pulled up to a run down wearhouse and stopped the van.

"Okay, everyone. We are here, I will call Mr. Alan so he can let us in." She said as she pulled out her phone and dialed a number. "Alan, it's Lyla. Yeah, we are here. Yeah, yeah, I'll verify. Sun down 04 05 93. Now open the damn door."

A large garage door opened on the side of the warehouse. Lyla drove the van in, inside was a small jet. They all got out of the van.

There was a tall thin man dressed in a neat dark blue suit. He looked to be in his 50s. His hair was nearly white but it didn't look like it was from age. He looked proud and hotty with cold grey eyes. His face look sculpted like he was a living statue.

"Hello master Justin and miss Lyla. We are running behind schedule, so please let us be going, we have a long flight ahead of us." He said speaking with a strong British accent.

"That's Alan, he is the only one who insists on calling us our actual names." whispered Ty into Sage's ear.

"Master Sean and miss Zmayah. I am Mr. Alan Stanley but you may call me Mr. Alan. Undoubtedly, master Justin and miss Lyla have already informed you about myself so I will spend no more time on introductions. Here are your new passports and telephones. The passports are for emergency purposes only as we usually fly by private jet. Your telephones have master Justin's and miss Lyla's numbers already programmed into them as well as my own. You also have been given verification numbers that you will find in your data files under set names. Master Sean's is, the red fox runs at night miss Zmayah's is, the blue nightingale sings. Please memorize both the names and the numbers that have been given to you for they will be used for verification in future meetings. You will be receiving your new IDs when we arrive in Ireland." Mr. Alan said as he handed them their passports and phones.

He lend them to the short flight of stairs leading into the jet.

"I will load our belongings and inform the pilot of our departure. Please make yourselves comfortable." He said as he gestured them inside.

The jet was nice, like something out of a James Bond moving. They all sat down. Lance and Sage looked around in awe. Mr. Alan entered a short time later and closed the hatch door. As he did the entire back side of the warehouse opened up like a giant garage door. Lance and Sage looked out the window to see a small runway. Then the jet began to move forward.

"Please fasten your seatbelts children. I believe we are about to take off." Mr. Alan said as he fastened his own seatbelt.

Sage quickly fastened her seatbelt and looked up frightened. Ty gently grabbed her hand.

"It's okay Sage." he said quietly.

"Do you need a sleeping draft miss?" Mr. Alan asked pulling a syringe out of his briefcase.

"No!" said Sage and Lance at the same time.

"I'm sure she will be fine once we get in the air. right Sage?" Lance said, looking at her.

"Yes, I'll be fine." said Sage nodding nervously.

"As you wish miss." He said as he stuffed the syringe back in his briefcase.

The jet took off down the runway.

Sage gripped Ty's hand. They were soon in the air and she slowly let go. He smiled at her.

"How long is the flight?" Lance asked.

"Oh, about eight hours, I'm gonna take a little nap." Lyla said laying her seat back and closing her eyes.

"Would anyone like refreshments?" asked Mr. Alan.

"Do you have orange juice?" asked Sage.

"I believe so. So that will be one glass of orange juice, anyone else?"

"I'll take a glass as well." said Ty.

Mr. Alan walked to the back of the plane.

"So, you don't like flying?" Ty asked Sage.

"No, I hate it." She said looking somewhat ashamed.

"Would you like to talk about something to take your mind off of it? Would you like me to tell you the story of how I got adopted?"

"Sure, that would be great."

"You were adopted?" Lance asked.

"Yeah, so were all 4 of my other siblings. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister." Ty began. "My parents were investigating my birth parents for a number of reasons. One of our group went undercover and confirmed their suspicious. The police hadn't been able to catch my parents because they kept moving from place to place and changing their identities. But they finally caught up to them. After the Free Man busted them, they found Lyla and I in the house. They took us in and later adopted us. I was 3 and Lyla was 4. Our parents had a hard time with us in the beginning but we settled down after awhile. Mr. Alan tutored us till we both graduated at 14 then we started working missions with my parents. Everyone of my siblings was adopted out of bad situations."

"Wow, that is amazing!" Lance said.

"Thanks, my parents are great, they have always been super loving and supportive. Even when they were on missions, they tried really hard to keep in touch with us or have us be apart of the mission in some way. Did either of you have siblings?" Ty asked as he took a glass of orange juice from Mr. Alan.

Sage also took a glass and looked away.

"Thank you, Mr. Alan." She said. "I had 6 siblings, 5 brothers and 1 sister. We weren't close, I was living with a friend in her apartment when this...all happened...I did have a cat though, his name was Simba, he is probably the only one who misses me." She fininished her juice and settled back in her seat. "I think I'm going to take a nap too." she said with a sad look. She put on Ty's sweatshirt and curled up on her seat.

Ty looked at her sympathetically with a slight smirk.

"I'm sorry Sage, family life can be difficult."

"I had 4 siblings, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I was only close to my younger sister. I guess she is probably pretty torn up by all of this." Lance said trying to break the silence.

"Well, I hope after we take Susan and her group out, you can make up with her." Ty said with a yawn. "It's nice to get to know y'all a little better. I don't mean to be rude but I'm going to take a nap too, I don't get much rest being a model." he leaned his seat back and closed his eyes.

Lance looked at Sage, and thought of everything he had put her through. He felt terrible but also thankful that she was here.

Sage shifted in her sleep and her head tilted and gently fell on Ty's shoulder. She also pulled her legs up, they were bent at the knee and fell to the same side as her head. That's when Lance noticed that her dress was up a little high on her legs.

He walked up to the cockpit and knocked on the door.

"Master Sean, how can I be of assistance?" Mr. Alan asked.

"I was wondering if there are any blankets on the plane?"

"Yes, sir, I will bring one to you. Would you also like your lunch now?"

"Oh, yeah sure." He said as he started following Mr. Alan towards the back of the plane.

"Very good sir, would you like spaghetti and meatballs or would you rather a turkey sandwich?"

"I'll take a turkey sandwich, no mayo please."

"Yes sir, here is your blanket." he said handing Lance a small blanket.

"Oh, thank you." Lance said taking the blanket, walking over to Sage, unfolding it and gently laying it over Sage covering her legs.

"That was very galiant of you master Sean. I will bring you your sandwich now." He said with a small bow.

Lance sat back down. Mr. Alan brought him his sandwich. After eating it he decided to take a nap as well.

Sage woke up with a start. She forgot where she was for a moment until she looked around. They were still in the air, but the sun was now setting.

"Miss Zmayah, is there anything I can get you?" Mr. Alan asked walking over to her.

"Oh, um, is there any fruit by chance?"

"I will look." said Mr. Alan as he walked to the back of the plane.

He soon came back holding a small fruit cup and a fork.

"Will this do miss?" he asked.

"Yes, this is perfect, thank you. How much longer do we have before we arrive?"

"A little over an hour miss."

Sage ate her fruit cup while looking around. Lance was sleeping peacefully across from her as was Lyla who looked like only the plane going down could wake her. Then she looked at Ty sleeping next to her. His curls fell loosely over his closed eyes. He looked very handsome. Then she wondered, how had they all been asleep so long?

"Mr. Alan." she called quietly.

"Yes, miss Zmayah?"

"How are they all still asleep? Isn't the flight eight hours? Did they all wake up when I was sleeping?"

"No, miss. I know master Justin and miss Lyla rarely rest properly so I gave them both a sleeping draft once they fell asleep and master Sean as well. But I did not give you one because you asked me not too."

"Wow. Do you do that a lot?"

"Everytime they come home miss."

"Okay, well I am going to try to rest for a bit. No slipping me sleeping drafts okay?"

"Of course miss."

Zmayah curled back up into her seat and closed her eyes.

"Master Sean, master Sean, we have landed sir." Mr Alan said gently shacking him.

Everyone was awake now and standing up. Lance yawned and looked out the window. It was breath taking. Beautiful rolling hills with a crystal clean lake at the bottom of a valley.

"Wow! It's beautiful!" said Lance in shock.

"Finally home." Lyla said.
