6 Chapter 6

When entering the kitchen, Diana saw her husband making a coffee with a frown. His thoughts, she did not know what's in his head at all. When he was unsmiling and doing things with concentrated expression, he gives off a cool and cold vibe which make her always feel the love toward him was always growing. She can feel her heart skip a beat looking at him.

After Diana stare him at the entrance of the kitchen lost in thought, she without a hesitation hug him from behind. Leon was stunned from sudden hug behind and almost throw off his cup of coffee which he is making.

"What are you doing?"

"I miss you, Leo... All these years...It's hard for me without you beside me..I..I'm sorry about the words in the living room. I was just happy to meet you again and excited that you are coming back to me. You know...I also feel sorry about the controls on you after you leave. I love you, Leo... I was full of anger that day... I only look from my own perspective and didn't notice you have your own thoughts and feelings at all. I am sorry...I am sorry..."

Leon was amazed by her confession and turns around looking at the teary and weary woman in front of him. He looks at her with full of concentration as if she's the only one in the world who he loves. With his big hand, Leon touches the woman's face which he hasn't seen all these years. His face comes closer and kisses on the tear stains on the woman's face. Then he hugs her tightly as he spoke.

"Hush Dear... It's alright. You shouldn't cry. It makes my heart ache knowing I was the one who makes you cry. I only want you to smile and be happy."

As hug her tightly, he softly mumbles out.

"You are only allowed to smile, laugh and be happy my beloved...you are not allowed to cry and sad at all...I won't be able to forgive myself if I make you sad...These years... I always feel guilty that I make you sad

Living alone for years, I come to understand your love toward me...You may be controlling but it's because you love me... I might have selfish toward you too. I am sorry...I am sorry too"

Diana hearing the words went wide-eyed and her tears this time fall unrestrainedly. As she hugs him back tightly with full of love, this time tears are only relief and happy tears. Leon could only soothe her softly. His eyes showing emotions which Diana didn't see are complex and unknown.

After venting her emotions, Diana was already tired from crying and leaned on him. She might be strong-willed and overbearing. In front of her beloved, she will always be like a child showing all of her emotions. Leon knowing she was tired lift her up with princess style and put her on the bed at the bedroom. After laying her on the bed, he decides to give her own time to reorganize her thoughts and leave the bedroom.

Before he goes out, he felt the tug behind him and looks back. He saw a fragile beauty looking at him with the face saying 'don't go..don't leave me'. The look tugs his heartstrings and he also lay on the bed as Diana hug him in the bosom. Leon touches the hair and pat softly as of saying 'go to bed...I will always be with you'.

Diana feeling secured, fall asleep with a soft smile. Hearing the even breathing of her, Leon knows that she was already in Dreamland as he sighed softly while looking at sleeping beauty in his bosom hugging tightly like he was her lifeline, his eyelids also started to get heavy.

The forgotten daughter on the couch in the living room was also asleep deeply. All three of them are asleep deeply like a child with no concerns on life.

'I've already reconciled with my wife and daughter and the main storylines also starting soon'

Those are the last thoughts of Leon before he also falls asleep with his beloved wife beside him with a satisfied expression.
