5 Chapter 5

After the episode of meeting with wife and daughter, Leon was left exhausted. And now the two were following to his apartment. He clearly knows why Diana was following. That lady wanted to see his lifestyle and gonna judge him.

'Don't tell me she's gonna nag me all day?!'

The thought left Leon in horror and his face started to pale.

Lindra on the other hand simply wanted to see how her father has been living on his own. The three of them are lost in their own thoughts going to the apartment.

"We are here"

The apartment Leon live in was on the third floor and when entering the apartment, both ladies started to check thoroughly. Lindra wanted to know where her father hides secret things. Diana was checking whether any women come to the apartment. The lady looks gentle but her detecting abilities are no joke. Leon was speechless looking the childish actions of the two ladies.

The apartment internal decoration was very simple. By combining light blue, dark blue and white, the decoration was simple and elegant. There were no secret things of course. He was a man but the soul in him was a lady. Although he didn't mind whether being a man or woman and liking both genders didn't bother him, it was still his first time of being a man and of course, he did not have secret things. All his past reincarnations are women and he was busy researching the mystery of each world he lives in. Thus clearly he has no time on other affairs. And this was his first time as a man and his vacation. He decides to take a vacation from researching and reincarnate here to have fun.

While Leon was lost in thought thinking, Lindra and Diana have already searched thoroughly. Both didn't find anything. They look displeased finding nothing.

"Don't tell me you hide so well that we can't find any suspicious things?"

Diana asks Leon with a raised brow while Lindra was sitting on the sofa boringly.

Hearing the question, Leon's mouth twitched. Clearly finding nothing, shouldn't she praise me? Looking at her, the lady was even more suspicious of him! How's he gonna explain the already unbelieved person?!

"Of course not. I was busy exercising and making money, how am I gonna have time on whatever you have on your mind?"

Leon answered back with black lines on his forehead. Hearing the answer, Diana didn't ask again. At least he dodged this one bullet.

"Will you still live here? Will you come back with us?"

Lindra asks her father while laying on the couch...

"Um...."

Her question made him not know how to reply. Diana also wanted to know whether they will live together again.

Leon was clearly in an awkward situation as he didn't know whether to go back or stay here. Clearly, he was a man. Why would he return back to a wife's house? His pride didn't allow him at all. Shouldn't they come and live here? In those romance novels, he always sees the girls always depend on male leads. Why did this happen in his situation? He actually needed to go and return to live with his wife?

Looking at the two's shining eyes and expectation, he didn't know how to reply to them at all. He stiffly looks at both of them. Of course, he has a poker face as he already restores his own image. He didn't want to break his own image at all.

"Do you really want me to come back?"

Diana looks at the expressionless man who was looking at them calmly. Well, she would really think he was calm if she didn't see his red ears. Lindra also thinks just like her as well. Of course, Leon didn't know his portrayed image was already broken by himself.

'Cute....!'

The word rang in the minds of both ladies.

"You can return home. No need to worry about anything. This lady can still provide you with everything."

Diana speaks with confidence and with a smirk.

'Sugar mommy?'

That was the word rang in Leon's mind. He didn't want to eat with his wife's money and live with his wife's money. His ego and pride didn't allow him at all.

His mouth twitched looking at the smug face of Diana. Somehow, he felt like he wanted to thrash that smug face. Lindra was stunned hearing her mom's words.

'If I didn't know you are my mom, I would think you are humiliating the other person!'

Both Lindra and Leon are familiar with her and know that she didn't really mean it but her words can make a misunderstanding if other people heard it!

"I have my own income."

Leon answered without any emotions visible. This time, they cannot find out what he thinks at all.

'Don't tell me Mom pissed off Dad?'

Lindra speechlessly looks at the two people.

'Aiya... I forgot that he really cares about his pride. My words must have made him pissed off.....'

Diana finding the mistake she makes wanted to fix it.

Leon who was already tired from all the talks he makes from the cafe and here goes to the kitchen without giving the chance to fix her words.

Lindra looks at her mom. Her eyes were simply saying 'you fix your own mess'. After that, she falls back to the couch and slept. Diana who was left standing in the living room alone didn't know what to do at all. Thus, she also went to the kitchen where Leon was making a drink to relax from mental exhaustion.

Lindra on the couch was already in dreamland. She was tired of doing the works the school give. She thought of resting after going to the store and unexpectedly met with her father. She was also tired talking, crying and her energy was drained off.
