10 Chapter 10

After they reunited, the time spent together is always a happy and joyful time for them. Well, time heal wounds after all. Even if they now in a good relationship, that doesn't mean they have completely forgiven him. Women are too strange. Their moods are complex. Even if they smile when they are talking with you, that doesn't mean they were happy.

Even though the time together with a family was joyful for Leon, it was freaking a hard time for Leon as well. He wants to shed tears and yet he can't. He needs a good plan to get their hearts. As such, he will make use of the plot to finish the goal he set.

The plot will start in a week. In a week, Lindra will work part-time at the cafe. In a past life, she works at the cafe to get some pocket money. But now, there's no need to work since the family had enough money to feed her three lifetimes. In the past life, the family indeed had money. It just that Lindra never finds out about it. She thought they were just a normal family with a slightly less average income.

Leon had decided to bring them to that cafe to celebrate the start of the plot. Of course, he will certainly control the way how the plot is going. He wouldn't be a deity if he can't manipulate such a simple plot.

Leon had met with Aveline Valencia. It was actually an accidental meeting. Of course, there's also his daughter beside him when they met. Looking at Aveline and Lindra, somehow, he got a bold idea. Aveline is one of his royal readers and when she met him, she was excited and ask for signs on the book. At first, Lindra thought whether her father actually betrays her mother and shouted to her father whether he betrays her mom or not.

"Dad! Are you some kind of relationship with her?"

"...."

'You have such an imaginative mind Lindra'

Leon's face twitched hearing the question.

"No. No. I am his book fan. You thought it wrong."

"Book?"

"You know I am an author right?"

Leon asks lifting his brow.

After knowing the situation, she didn't say anymore and was embarrassed. Aveline can't blame her. After all, she was also a bit too enthusiastic after all. The two look at each other and were at a lost. The atmosphere turned awkward. Looking at the two and finding his own idea perfect, he smiles widely gaining the shivers from the two girls. Although he thought he smiles normally, the two girls saw a very mischievous and evil smile. And the two felt like the smile is wicked and calculating.

"You two. you two are at the same age, right? Lindra!"

"Ye...Yes?"

"I haven't seen you talking about friends at all"

Leon's face turned serious making Lindra's heart jump.

Aveline also nervously watch as Leon's face hardens. They both listened attentively listens what he would speak.

"So, why don't you two go and relax at the cafe?"

His face suddenly turned smily which make the two girls face twitch. They thought he's gonna scold them or talking something serious.

Looking at her father in disdain, she no longer paid attention to him.

"Let's go. Aveline right?"

"Ah...Yes?!"

Aveline who doesn't have a genuine friend who would support her was stunned by Leon's question and subconsciously answered the question which makes Lindra smiles.

Looking at the two girls who left for fun, he smiles widely in satisfaction. Lindra was antisocial. But she's loyal and genuine to her friends which can be counted with one hand. Aveline, a rich heirness was a lonely person. The people who are close to her are there for ulterior motives. She is not dumb. She can distinguish whether they treat her right or wrong.

For Aveline, Lindra felt like an antisocial person who looks gloomy. But she can feel that Lindra was an honest and loyal person. She always trusts her gut feeling. It never went wrong after all.

The two girls went to cafe, having fun and going to the amusement park to play as well. Well, whatever. As long as they are happy with each other's presence.

Leon smiles looking at the monitor in front of him and walks away no longer paying attention to it. He has to go on a date with his beloved wife after all.
