Huang Jing Er was stunned when he looked at that man because she doesn't understand what he was talking about. He mentioned a promise that she never gave to him. From the start, that man looks at her with a weird gaze. Does he think that Huang Jing Er is someone else?

Huang Jing Er still stared at him as she waited that he gives her an answer to her question but that man just turned around while showing her his smirk.

"Hey! Wait!" Huang Jing Er shouted at him but that man kept walking. "Hey!" She runs after him because that man is suspicious. "I want to ask you!"

That man ignores her and keeps walking but he still lets Huang Jing Er follow after him. Huang Jing Er is still shocked after she realizes that the girl she was seen is not a real girl. Thinking about that matter is like delivering the goosebumps all over her body. Huang Jing Er has to admit that she is a little bit scared so she is keeping behind that man while leaving the ghost manor.

"Hey! Wait for me!" Huang Jing Er shouted when the distance between her and that man was too far until they were in front of the wooden gate. "Do you have the key?" Huang Jing Er said.

"I don't need a key to get out of this place and how about you?" That man asked as he sees Huang Jing Er confusedly. "Don't you can jump the wall?"

Huang Jing Er opens her eyes widely. She never thought that man would say something like that to her as he helps her before why he helps her but not till the end? Huang Jing Er can jump the wall but the barrier that sets on this place prohibits her from using her ability. Huang Jing Er still tried to communicate with Xiao Ran and An Ping but failed.

Huang Jing Er looked at that man with a pitiful face. In this situation, she doesn't need her pride. Huang Jing Er chooses to get out of this place without pride rather than staying here alone with her useless pride.

"Why do you look at me with that gaze?" He asked Huang Jing Er.

"Please help me to get out of this place."

"You can get out of this place by yourself and you are a mature man and…"

"Arrrrrrrghhhh!" Huang Jing Er touches her left chest as she pretends to be sick but she never thought that man would grab her wrist soon.

That man's face looked so pale. Huang Jing Er doesn't understand what happened now but she just pretends but what she sees is something beyond what she thought before until that girl feels so guilty towards that man.

"Are you alright?" That man asked Huang Jing Er.

For a while, Huang Jing Er thought to say the truth to him but she has to get out of this place. Huang Jing Er doesn't understand why her body becomes so weak after she wakes up in that dark room.

"Do you think I will trust you?" That man gives her a sinister smirk and makes Huang Jing Er annoyed.

Huang Jing Er was stunned by transitioning his expression. How come just in a second that man changes his mood from worry to cunning just in a second?

"Alright! Could you please just help me to get out of this place?" Huang Jing Er pleaded with her puppy eyes. That man looked so shocked but in front of Huang Jing Er, he try to be cool instead. "Help me please."

"Hey! Don't you have pride? As a man…"

"I don't need that pride as long as I can get out of this place, that's enough."

That man comes closer as his face almost touches Huang Jing Er's left ear.

"Then tell me what I get if I help you."

"Oh, God! Alright! If you help me now, I will help you as well and we can be friends, right?" Huang Jing Er looked at him. "Look! If you are my friend, you will get some advantages."

"I am not interested. I want to get back home."

"Wait! Don't leave me!" Huang Jing Er said even she doesn't care even if she has to throw her pride away. Huang Jing Er keeps shouting until that man feels annoyed when Huang Jing Er grabs his left leg tightly as she never lets him free. "Young Master, please help me to get out of this place." She pleaded again.

Huang Jing Er realized if that man must be looked at her as a man but the fact she is a girl who disguise as man and that girl doesn't care about what that man thinks of her because after this they aren't meet again so why Huang Jing Er has to be afraid to lose her face as a man?

As Huang Jing Er pleaded, that man looked into her irresistible puppy eyes confusedly. Actually, Huang Jing Er still tries to read his mind but she couldn't because of the barrier in this area so she has to make this man want to help her.

"Let me go!" That man shouted at her but Huang Jing Er doesn't care and she keeps holding his left leg even tightened. "Hey let me go!"

"I won't! except you help me to get out!"

"Then you have to follow me after we get out of this place." That man tries his best to not explode right now.

"What?! Why do I have to follow you?" Huang Jing Er said suspiciously as she still held his leg.

"Let me go!" That man tries to let go of her and when he feels that Huang Jing Er loosen her hands, he moves his left leg from her. That man takes a deep breath because he needs to keep his sanity because he just realized talking with this person needs extra patience. "So tell me, do you agree to follow me?" That man asked her.

Huang Jing Er looked around and what she saw was just the darkness and she doesn't want to stay here any longer. She needs to meet Xiao Ran and An Ping as soon as possible.

"I will go now!" That man almost leaves her if Huang Jing Er doesn't catch his wrist.

"Then I will follow you."
