8 Chapter 8: Bonding With Their Idol

As they were getting nearer to their destination, one can clearly see even from miles away, the White Phoenix Empire that Alexander Bai proudly created and Lillie Bai carefully groomed.

The tremendous building stood tall and proud among its neighboring building, making them appear as if mere ants.

Yi Fei who already saw the WPE countless time still couldn't help but gape and be amazed by it.

"I wish I could create something like this one day." She solemnly said to herself. Lillie stared at her through the rear-view mirror.

"Your father and brother managed the Huo Long Corporation, why don't you ask for future references?" Lillie questioned.

Yi Fei snorted as if she heard the biggest joke. "Yeah right. Dad's company is really great and all but compare to WPE, it's so-so. Well, to me at least." She quickly added the last part.

Lillie raised her brow in confusion. "What is it that you don't like from HL Corp?" Lillie didn't want to admit it but, Ethan did a pretty good job in handling HL Corp.

As she didn't want to say it out loud but, WPE and HL Corp are equally powerful.

Yi Fei sighed, "You know how much I love games and HL Corp didn't did a good job in making one. Instead they are good with the Entertainment industry. Because my bro is handsome, many actresses throw themselves to him. Also, they tried to pursue me too just to be in my bro's good graces."

"Do you know how much that annoys me? Those bunch of plastic even go as far as making me ride their car after school to send me home! Urgh, and my classmates always ask me for their autographs!" She furiously explained.

"Tch, you just don't know how to handle them." Gabriel rebuked.

"Haahh?!" Yi Fei fiercely reacted.

"My sis had thousands of suitors, fans and even enemies. But, because my sis is smart, she doesn't show herself much in public and also hated being in the spotlight, lot of people do not know who she is. Unlike your brother who's face is all over the magazine, TV and radio.

The only person they know are our parents. When I'm at school, my classmates just thought I had the same surname or I belong to the branch family." He haughtily discussed. Yi Fei gaped at him.

"Why didn't that stupid brother of mine thought of that?!" She said in frustration.

"That's one reason your brother is inferior to my sis." He said, his nose pointing up.

Yi Fei grumbles. "Even if he's my own brother, I can't argue with that."

Lillie who heard the whole conversation slash comparison, couldn't helped but look at them weirdly.

She didn't even know that just because she doesn't show herself much in public actually helped her brother greatly. She mentally let out a sigh in relief.

'Ethan Li, you're being insulted by your own little sister.' She almost pity him.

The car entered the WPE's underground parking lot and parked it at the owners' space.

The three exited the car and entered the elevator. The lift they entered can only be accessed by the VIPs or the owners so that there will be no dilemmas like stopping at every floor.

The employees, who were waiting for the elevator to arrive at their floor, suddenly stiffen as they noticed the VIP lift moving.

It either means that there is someone extremely important visiting the company or the she-devil herself arrived, they choose the latter.

The employees all scurried to tell the others, they even quickly grabbed their phones and informed the other departments just incase Lillie Bai would have a surprise inspection.

And as for the cause of their panic, she was calmly waiting for the lift to arrive at her office's floor along with the two excited teenagers.

'Ding~'

As soon as the lift opened, they were greeted by Lillie Bai's personal assistant, Elliot Anderson, a very handsome yet serious British man.

Lillie hired this man because of his professionalism, productivity and diligence. She actually met him while attending a party at London, serving as a waiter.

Now you must be wondering why would she hire a mere waiter and give him a prestigious position in WPE.

Actually, Lillie Bai had extremely good eyes in determining a person's talents. She immediately saw the intelligence, she wanted to her people, on his serious grey eyes.

After a few background check ups, she found out that this man attended Princeton through scholarships, unfortunately he dropped out because his mother needed immediate medical attention.

Because he's an only child and his father died a long time ago, he's the only one who can look after her. So, he dropped out of school and entered a job as a waiter.

She offered him to pay all of his mother's hospital expenses, confined his mother to the best hospital and gave them a new home at Country K.

"Elliot, prepare two PC for them. I'll be on my office." She ordered.

Elliot nodded and lead the two teens to Lillie's private computer laboratory, where she usually tested the company's games, checking the system's firewall and for any traces of hackers while doing a bit of hacking herself.

You wouldn't believe me if I told you that Lillie knows 'almost' everything that concerns the people around her.

"Wait, I thought that you're going to help me beat the mega boss?" Gabriel frowned and looked at his big sister as if he was a kicked puppy.

Rotating her head slightly to the side, showing only half her face.

"Yi Fei can help you on that, after all she's already at Grandmaster level six so, she've already beat the mega boss before." She elucidated before entering her office.

"..."

Gabriel: You've just ruined my bonding time with my sister...

Yi Fei: I shouldn't have leveled up so fast...

The two can only sigh, unfortunately there's no medicine for regret.
