4 Nie Shufen

At the Nie Manor..

Nie Shufen came out of the bathroom, wearing a black bathrobe. Water was dripping from his wet, black hair. He was tall (about 1.8 m), well-built and and strikingly handsome. He was the heart throb of almost all young girls of the country. He was the second young master of Nie family and the Superstar actor of the film industry. Every movie or drama he acted for was sure to be a big hit.

"Shufen, come down, son, Mummy wants to talk to you about something very urgent."

He quickly changed his clothes and went down to the living room, where his mother was sitting. Just by her expression, he could tell, she was serious.

"Son, when is your filming scheduled to pack up?"

"Since, the movie shoot has just started. Probably, not for the next two months."

"Can you take out time to meet someone?"

"Ma, as long as it's not some girl, you want to set me up with, I'll go."

"Look at your brother, he had already got married at your age. Even, your father married me at almost the same age. When are you going to be serious about yourself. Do you wish to stay single forever?"

"Ma, I have my own right to choose my ideal type. I can't just marry any girl. I want to be with someone, I truly love."

Just then his brother comes down. Nie Ai was the first young master of Nie family. He was president of Nie corporations and the CEO of Meng Ltd., the nationwide famous fabric manufacturing brand.

"Brother, please explain to mother, I am really not ready to marry yet."

"Son, tell him, it is not like I am getting him married. I am just asking him to meet the girl."

"Brother, ask mummy, why should I waste my and that girl's time, when I do not want to marry just yet."

This was the usual way in Nie Manor. Both Shufen and Nie Vian(his mother) behaved like children when they started fighting, putting Nie Ai in a fix and asking him to decide. He surely couldn't. On one side was his loving mother and other side was his little brother whom he had always spoiled.

Just then, Nie Wang came in. He was the little three-year old son of Nie Ai. He was both adorable and cute with skin as white as jade. Anyone would say he surely had the royal gene of good looks from the Nie family. He rubbed his eyes and greeted everyone. Then, he rushed to his Grandma's lap for a second round of sleep.

"Sweetheart, did your uncle's loud voice disturb your sleep."

Though she was the one shouting at the top of her voice, she still put the blame on Shufen. Though, she was really good-hearted but in such times, she behaved like a child, never taking the blame.

Every chuckled and Shufen pouted as he looked at his mother, as she carried Nie Wang to her room.

At this moment, Ruan Wei stepped in. She was the loving wife of Nei Ai. She was a very beautiful and lively woman whose best quality was that she could cheer everyone and lift up their mood. Probably, that was one of her skills which Nei Ai fell for.

She gave Shufen a slight smile and told him to go and hang out with a condition that he informs her of his whereabouts and remember to be back for dinner.

Shufen immediately glowed up and shook her hands before he went out.

"You are the best. Sis-in-law."

Nei Ai sighed, " You spoil him too much."

Ruan Wei commented, " I just can't bear to see sadness all over his face. Moreover, I am not the only one who spoils him. Right?"

Nei Ai nodded in agreement.

Once out on the road, Nei Shufen could feel the breeze touch lightly upon his face, he felt a feeling of freedom.

" Can I be this free and light-headed if I married someone, I don't even properly know."

He knew that his mother was stubborn and she had her own ways. He just wished for his soulmate to appear in his life before it's too late.

"Beloved..It is already late. Come on and stop hiding. You better hurry up and come into my life. Then, I won't fuss and will happily get married."

RING..RING

Just then, he was disturbed by his phone call. It was his assistant Bei Suzy. As he answered her call, he parked his car to the side under a flower blossom tree.

"Mr. Nie big news!!...The leading actress of the movie "Destined to love you" was replaced."

"What!!" (surprise)

"It is said she got some severe injury and she had to go abroad for treatment and might to be able to return any soon. So, the producers insisted on replacing her in order not to delay the movie release date."

"Who is the new one?"

"I have heard she is a rookie actress. The director auditioned her personally and said she seemed to fit the role."

"What about the scenes which were shot?"

"Except your solo ones, I am afraid they will have to be re-done. Mr. Nie, director is really apologetic and wants to apologize personally. Coincidentally, you have to shoot tomorrow. So, shall I arrange for him to meet you. You can also meet the new female lead, then."

"Afterall, it's not his fault. Alright, you can make the arrangements for tomorrow."

"Uhmm..Mr. Nie you have a shoot at the mountains tomorrow. A sunset scene. I will send you the script, date and time. I will also tell driver Jie to pick you up from your house."

"Alright"

As he hung up the phone. He heard a message tone and saw the script Bei Suzy had sent. He read a few lines.

He came to his thoughts of soulmate.

"Let's see what fate has decided for us. I hope I can meet you soon."

Just then, a flower fell from the tree into his lap.
