1 Chapter 1

Bailey looked up as he felt the train pass over his building, rattling the apartment walls as it rode along the tracks and out of sight, taking the rumbling and shaking with it. He sighed as he looked down, pushing his glasses back up his nose as he looked at the textbook laid out on the bed. Deciding to go back to it later, Bailey closed the textbook as he ran a hand through his long hair, idly thinking it needed to be cut. Standing up, he placed the book on the dresser next to the bed, walking through the small apartment toward the kitchen. He opened the door to the fridge, looking at the meager amount of food sitting there.

"Man, I wish I got paid more," he muttered to himself, closing the fridge with extra force.

He sighed again, thinking of how he had yet another shift that night, stretching his arms high, shirt riding up. He leaned against the counter in the kitchen as he tried to shake off the wariness that always came when he thought about his job.

"It could be worse, I guess," he muttered, "I could have to work a shift with Lacey. That would be a nightmare," he shuddered, thinking about the twig disguised as a woman obsessed with him.

"At least, she works on the other side," he sighed gratefully, "I hope we never work together ever again," shuddering just thinking about the one time he and Lacey had worked a shift together. It was traumatizing just thinking about it. Bailey grabbed the partially filled water bottle from the counter and unscrewed the cap.

'Well, at least that proved her obsession was only one sided to the owners, and that she is all kinds of crazy,' he thought, taking a sip and putting the bottle back down.

'I wonder if she knows I have a restraining order down the line for her if she tries that again,' he mused thoughtfully with a hand on his face.

No one he knew could deal with the kind of crazy Lacey Cooper was. She had always been obsessed with him, attempting to follow him home and trying to grab at him any time he was on the dance floor. It's not that she was unattractive, she just repelled him with her behavior so much that he would never even consider her as a possible partner. Sure, many of the people in the bar saw her as pretty, beautiful even, but those people had never seen her true nature. The whore that she was soaked up the attention from the male patrons at the bar, but she would never leave him alone, he lamented dramatically.

Bailey looked to the clock on the wall and seeing that it was 7:00 p.m., decided to start getting ready for his shift at 7:45. He grabbed his water bottle and walked over to the dresser. Placing the bottle on top, he opened one of the drawers, looking for a specific pair of pants. Finding them, he grabbed them and placed them on the bed.

'Now I just need a jacket,' Bailey thought, as he had already decided on the other parts of his outfit for tonight. Looking through the drawer he found a cropped jacket that had chains.

'Perfect,' he thought. Grabbing his pants from the bed and the other items he had chosen for his outfit, he walked to the bathroom on the far side of the apartment. Opening the door, he placed his clothes on the stand next to the bathtub. Deciding to only take a quick shower today, he turned on the water and hopped in.

After Bailey had finished his shower, he put in his purple contacts, dried off, and grabbed the pale blue lace, panties on the top of the clothes pile, and slid them on. Next, he stepped into the skin tight, low waist, leather, red pants, the blue strap of the underwear showing above the waistline. Buckling the black leather harness around his torso and slipping the cropped jacket on, he walked out of the bathroom to the bed again. Kneeling down, he pulled out a box from under the bed. In the box was a pair of gold, thigh high, three inch high heeled stiletto boots. Taking them from the box, he sat on the bed to pull them on.

After he pulled the zipper up the boot, Bailey stood and walked to the kitchen, grabbing his keys and bag. He stopped by the mirror next to the door, and carefully outlined his eyes with eyeliner, just enough to make them pop, giving them a little wing. Making sure he looked good everywhere else, he opened the door and strutted out.

'Just until I level up and can get more tips,' Bailey thought, thinking of the shift he had tonight, one of the same nights that Lacey did as well, ' Then I can earn more money and different hours,' he decided, walking down the hall, hoping to run into his hot, muscular neighbor. Sadly, Harper wasn't in. He could tell, because Harper always made sure Bailey would know if he was out by the paper sign posted on the door next to his. Harper wanted Bailey to be able to get a hold of him whenever, in case anything happened.

Sighing dreamily at the thought of Harper, Bailey continued on his way out, walking down the stairs to his motorcycle out in the parking lot. Sitting down, he put his helmet on and revved the engine. Pulling out of the lot, he drove into the street, on his way to The Jade.
