Naruto and I stood beside the rest of the contesters and looked at the stage. There were thousands of people watching this event and the blonde energy ball was getting excited.

"Kou, all these people will watch me beat all of your asses!"

"How many times I have to beat you to put sense in your thick skull." I sighed.

"One more time." He smiled and I copied.

"You should stand straight and orderly. People sitting there will decide your destiny today, Cough Cough! So do your best!" The proctor Hayate said while showing the VIP area.

How the hell is Hayate here, you may ask. Well, I always hated when he was forgotten in the fanfics. I mean, why has no one ever cared about this poor man? I especially like this guy. One of the reasons why I was so heavy-handed against Sound Three was because of this.

I thought maybe if I removed them, it would change things a little bit, but to no one's surprise, Hayate still went after Kabuto and saw him meeting with Suna Jounin, Baki. Lucky for him, I knew the place where they would meet and prepared something to save him.

When they met, Hayate was about to approach them to listen in on their conversation, unlucky for him, this time they realized there was something wrong with the place and moved away right away. So despite Hayate seeing Kabuto with Baki, they couldn't put any blame on them, as in this version, Kabuto never clashed with Kakashi over Sasuke's life, nor came after me.

After all, despite giving me the cursed seal, Orochimaru didn't want my body at all. The only suspicion on Kabuto was his odd behavior.

As we were looking around goofily, Kazekage blessed the arena with his presence. At this point, I have no idea who is under that veil of his. After all, Orochimaru doesn't have enmity towards me and doesn't show on my map. On a side note, Kabuto does. I must have pissed him badly. Anyways, I am not sure if Rasa or Orochimaru sat near Tsunade at this time.

After exchanging whatever they talked about, Tsunade raised from her seat and walked forward to give the speech.

"Thank you for gracing us by coming." She started. "It has been some time since the exams were in Konoha, and it is my first ever since I took the hat."

The audience went mad as they cheered for her.

"We shall now begin the final round of the exams for the ten who made it through the preliminaries. Please enjoy it until the end!"

After another round of claps and cheers, it was time for us. Hayate turned to us and informed, "The rules are the same as the preliminaries. Until one side admits defeat or dies, the matches will continue. I can stop the match if I decide the winner beforehand.

Cough Cough! Is that clear?"

"So, the first match is Uzumaki Naruto and Sai. Step forward. The rest of you lot can go to the waiting area."

"Good luck, Sai!" I waved my hand.

"Huh? Shouldn't you wish Naruto good luck?" He asked, dumbfounded. The rest of the Genin also turned to look at me.

"Oh, he doesn't need luck. As it is, he will kick the shit out of you." I smirked. Naruto copied my smirk and gave me a thumbs up. "We will meet in the finals!"

Sure we do. No one else can beat you now.

"Pumpkin-chan, let's go." I held Ino's hand and walked towards the walls.

"Kou, the stairs are that way." She pointed out.

"Too bothersome. Let's climb the walls. We are ninjas for fuck's sake!" I whined. She smiled cutely as she climbed with me. The audience cheered loudly.

"Huh, how did you get up here?" Shikamaru asked when he arrived.

"Hehe, Lazy Ass. For a genius Nara, you sure are slow." I smirked.

"Fuck! How did I not think of that?" He lamented.

"Because I am smarter than you." I chuckled.

"Whatever." He lazily shrugged.

"Pumpkin-chan, are you ready for your battle?" I asked as I put my arm around her waist.

"More than ready, Muffin-chan!" She answered with a smile.

"You disgusting couple. This exam is serious. Stop doing this!" Temari barked from the side. Her face was flushed.

"Don't be envious, girl. Go and make out with Shikamaru." I said cheekily.

"What!?" She cried out scandalously.

"Why me, you idiot. Don't drag me into this." Shikamaru lazily commented.

"It's not like there is anyone else in here," I said as I looked around. "Those two are her brothers, so no no. Shin is gay, and Neji… I am not sure."

"I am not gay!" Both Shin and Neji exclaimed at the same time.

"Look, I am not God. I don't care if you are homosexual or not. You can go and fuck each other." I seriously added. "As long as the other side has given their consent."

"I like women." Neji lashed out.

"You love men, though," I added. He looked really pissed. "Fine, fine. It was a joke. When you battle with Shin, don't wrestle though, alright."

"Fuck you," Neji shouted.

"Dude, you just said you were not…"

"What is going on up there?" Sai asked as he looked above.

"Kou must have pissed off everyone." Naruto sighed.

"What now?" Asked Sai.

"Now, Round One starts!" Hayate shouted.

"Sorry, Sai. I need to show my abilities to get the promotion." Naruto grinned as he created five shadow clones. Five stood around him in pentagram formation, as he stood in the center. Next second, all five clones folded hand seals and shouted at the same time.

"Fuuton: Quick Feet!"

It was a discount version of Chakra Cloak, only increased speed a little.

Without waiting for Sai to respond, five clones started to dash at Sai. The first to arrive punched him on the chin to send him flying to complete the rest of the combo, but with the punch, Sai turned into ink and dissolved. Naruto looked at the ground as he folded hand seals.

As soon as Sai left the ground, Naruto started to blow wind from his mouth.

"Fuuton: Wind Cutter!"

Wind gathered like a great scythe and moved towards Sai. The latter released a scroll from his pocket and from within, an eagle dashed out. Sai jumped on it and flew into the air. While airborne, he delivered more paintings. Animals of all sizes left the scroll and flew towards the blond, but Naruto and his clones already finished their next Jutsu.

"Fuuton: Great Breakthrough!"

The giant attack delivered six times toppled down all the drawings and destroyed the bird Sai was standing on top of. Sai was free-falling from the sky, but he wasn't without a solution. He drew out another scroll to summon another eagle, but sadly, Naruto wouldn't let him.

One of the clones grabbed him and sent him flying towards the falling Sai. When Naruto was flying, he created a clone and used it as a stepping stone. With it, his momentum increased and he reached Sai. He kicked him on the chin and broke his Jutsu.

While falling, the other four clones jumped to kick Sai to both slow his descent and to knock him out. While one of the clones jumped to break Naruto's fall. Original Naruto used the clone to slow down and landed on his two feet.

"Is that really Naruto?" Shikamaru asked in shock.

"You better believe it, Lazy Ass. While you were lazing around, we were all getting stronger." I commented. Didn't hold my punch at all. He had to realize his flaws.

"Why you!" He looked irritated but I ignored him.

Following battles weren't as exciting. Kankuro, I guess thought Ino would be an easy opponent and didn't forfeit at the start. But after battling for a while, and getting a punch of his own on his face, instead of using the puppet, he withdrew from the battle.

Neji vs Shin was… heated. Neji was different from the Anime and still a genius. With a different attitude towards the Main Branch, and more open Uncle, his battle techniques soared swiftly.

In the anime, he learned Revolving Heaven on his own but this time, he was able to learn it with the help of his Uncle. That saved him lots of time. In that time, he learned more advanced Hyuga techniques.

Shin, on the other hand, has great aptitude in Sword Arts. His strikes were swift and decisive. But unfortunately, Hyuga are bane of Taijutsu techniques. Despite his power in Sword, Shin lost the battle. But he struggled against the Rookie of the past year. And was able to display most of his abilities. His chances of promotion were not low.

"The next match is, Koushin of Konoha!" Hayate shouted and waited for the audience to cheer. "And Gaara of Suna. Please come to the stage."

I walked towards the wall and jumped down without any hesitation. The opening of the waiting area was at least 20 meters tall, so the audience went mad when they saw me jumping off.

Just as I was about to fall, a ball of fire appeared beneath my two feet and exploded onto the ground. With the force of the explosion, I somersaulted and landed on my two feet with grace.

Needless to say, the crowd went ballistic. Only after a few minutes Gaara arrived from regular steps and was greeted with boos and jeers.

"Start!" Hayate gave the signal as Gaara looked at me with bloodlust in his eyes while I smirked playfully.

"I will penetrate your ass."

Wait, that sounded wrong.
