Back at it again! Starting on the 8th of May, I will return and spam as many chapters as I can to catch up! I will be finally free for 1-3 months due to the COVID service! I will prioritize my MHA fanfic over Konosuba.

While maintaining eye contact with the ground, the counter lady started explaining basic things about the guild.

"Ehm...First of all...adventurers are responsible for the extermination of monsters wandering in the nearby forests or outside of the town. Their primary source of income is from completing tasks such as quests for extermination, odd jobs like collecting plants or escort missions where you need to protect the person until a certain point of their journey."

The woman looked at Yumi out of the corner of her eyes and the moment she locked eyes with him she fidgeted and looked at the ground again.

Yumi sighed and said, "Listen, lady...If you don't want to look at me, then look at Aqua...Just make it quick because I am hungry..." He was really disappointed at how people around him acted. He never expected that they would make him a new body from scratch. While his new body looked amazing and Yumi could feel his strength pulsating through him, his face was a big demerit.

His sharp eyes were already enough to make people fear him, and coupled with his shark teeth made people around him feel uncomfortable.

"What's this, What's this? Look at me? Yudai... Did you finally acknowledge how pretty I am? Well, that was only to be expected! As goddesses are pretty and all!"

Yumi rolled his eyes and replied, "Oh don't even get me started Aqua. I am pretty sure I told you that you are pretty enough but your insides are full of shit. Also, don't call me so casually! Use honorifics! Moreover, I still want to eat something and I don't want to waste time with trivial things." He turned his attention back towards the counter lady and said, "Okay, make it quick. Go on."

"A-Ah...yeah... My bad." The counter lady could feel the angry eyes of her coworkers. Every employee knows the rules.

You can't discriminate anyone no matter how they look like. Customers are the kings you need to bow before. Unless the customers are a rude bunch, treat them with respect, as if you would treat your own mother.

One of the counter ladies switched with the current one and apologized.

"I am sorry for the behavior of my coworker, she is still young and inexperienced, please let me take over."

She had blonde hair and a pair of giant breasts.

Yumi nodded and replied, "It's fine."

The new counter lady licked her lips seductively and gazed at his body.

"Your clothes don't leave much to the imagination. It seems like you trained yourself well. My name is Luna."

Yumi wasn't really sure how to take that compliment as this wasn't his body and it was literally made yesterday by the gods.

"...Thanks...I am Yumi Yudai."

Luna flinched but then smiled, "A noble? Nice to meet you in the city of Axel!" She pulled out a pair of plates from a box behind her and handed them to Aqua and Yumi.

As Yumi gazed at the plate in his hands, Luna explained.

"These are the so-called, status plates. The first thing you notice when you look at the card is LEVEL. LEVEL is basically a generated amount of souls from this world that is transferred into a form we call XP. The more XP you receive, the bigger LEVEL you will obtain."

While Yumi already knew the concept of levels, he was still fascinated by the way she was introducing the concept of souls.

"The bigger your level is, the stronger your stats are! You will also gain five special points per level that you can allocate into your stats to boost them and become stronger. Well...there is also one class that only receives one point for an upgrade after a level up. It's called an Adventurer."

"Is it strong?" Yumi asked.

Luna shook her head and replied, "It's the weakest class. No one wants it because it's bad. Not only do you get only one point per level up, but it also doesn't even have any spells and has to take spells from other classes. Everyone that ended up as an adventurer, either quit the job or quickly changed his class to something else. I do not recommend it."

('A class that doesn't have spells of its own, but takes spells from other classes? Isn't that super amazing? As long as I have enough points, I can use spells of every single class. The only drawback is the points but even then, my stats upgrade itself every time I level up. So I would only need points for abilities.')

As Yumi was contemplating, Luna continued.

"Alright, now that the introduction is over, please fill the necessities such as height, weight, age, and other details in the card!"

Yumi placed the old plate he found in the cave and said, "I already have one, which one should I use?"

Luna closed her eyes and smiled, "I recommend you throw it away. If you don't want any trouble."

Yumi looked at her in confusion but did as he was told.

Luna leaned towards him and whispered into his ear.

"Using a plate of a deceased person is highly dangerous. If anyone finds you killed an adventurer on purpose, your adventurer card and adventurer rank will be revoked and you will be going to jail."

Yumi frowned and thought, ('Why does everyone think I killed someone...I just found it...maaaan...') He nodded and took a look at his new plate.

('Height is umm about 180 cm I guess...weight who the hell knows...with this much muscle... let's say...75kg. My age...Sixteen years old, white hair, yellow eyes…')

After he was done, Luna placed a crystal ball in front of them and said, "Please, place your hand on the device. First up, Yumi Yudai."

Yumi walked up and placed his hand on the ball.

The blue ball shone and revealed something like a hologram, showing the overall stats and jobs Yumi could pick.

"… All right, thank you. Yumi Yudai-san. Oh my...Oh my..." Luna exclaimed.

Seeing her reaction, other counter ladies came forward to take a look and all of them had disbelief written all over their faces.

"This is..."

"First time ever..."

"Someone who has the choice to pick from every class. This is..."

The other counter ladies looked at him closer and noticed that it was the scary-looking guy. Seeing his stats, they knew that the adventurers guild had picked up a gem.

The counter ladies looked at each other and smiled. They formed a line in front of Yumi and one by one asked him for a contract.

"Ah, Yudai-san! Would you form a contract with me? I can make your every wish come true!" Counter lady A put her fingers on her mouth in the form of a V and made a suggestive motion.

"How about me? Yudai-sama! I am still young, barely over thirty years old! My experience is vast and I can satisfy your...urges...so just make a contract with me! How about it?" Counter lady B showed off her bust.

"I already have a big house, so all we need is a contract and we can get married, how about it?"

Why were they doing it? The reason was simple. Every counter lady was stationed in a sector that had to take care of missions and jobs for the adventurers.

Most of the time, each spot receives missions equally. The more missions someone manages to complete in a certain sector, the more money the counter lady in that selected sector will receive. So contracting a strong and juicy dark horse that can become a new part of their income is essential.

Moreover, this city is the town of beginners, the Axel town. Many women want to settle down and start a family with a strong individual that makes a lot of money so that they would enjoy comfort while bringing up children.

However in this town, there aren't many strong adventurers, and if there are some, they are in hiding and have no intention of showing themselves.

Traveling into a foreign city takes too much time and money, so these women bid their luck on the city they grew up in.

As the women surrounded him, Aqua made a shocked expression and said, "How is he so popular with such a face!? Look at me! I am pretty!"

No matter the gender, Aqua wanted to be the center of attention. Every race should worship her yet these women were clearly ignoring her and putting their attention on this loser.

While Aqua was pouting, Yumi was overwhelmed by the women around him.

"I don't wish to sign any contract. Thank you, thank you, please let me finish my registration with Mrs. Luna. Thanks."

Seeing that he had no interest in them, the women left him after a few minutes and he could finally relax.

Luna looked at his disheveled state and apologized.

"Once again, I am sorry for the behavior of my coworkers, they saw fresh mea-...I mean...fresh recruit like you and couldn't help themselves."

('Oi...I caught that...She was so about to say fresh meat...wasn't she? Why are all women in this world so thirsty...It's like I am in some kind of sex world. Well, Yunyun seems fine and Aqua is not from this world but so far, women in this guild are really...into it...')

Luna bowed and continued, "Lemme see where we ended off...ah yes. Your stats are all amazing. Every single one of them is above average. Strength, vitality, magic, agility, speed, and intelligence. But your luck is something else...It's the highest luck that was ever recorded...Congratulations, you were born special and heaven favors you!" After she said that, a loud cheer echoed in the guild. It seems that the people present recognized him as their new comrade.

Yumi gave her a wry smile and replied, "Can you tell me what classes there are? I know some of them but I am not sure whether there are any secret classes."

"Secret classes? Hmm, I am not sure about that. Tank, Crusader, Holy Knight, Archmage, Wizard, Priest, Archpriest, Thief, and many more...You can honestly choose what you want. Looking at your build, I would either recommend you to be a Crusader or a Holy Knight. A Thief wouldn't be that bad of a choice either, but it would be waste for your toned muscles."

Yumi looked over the list of the jobs and sighed.

('I want to try out magic, but I also want to try out Thief class and Holy Knight class...But I can only pick one of them...unless...')

Yumi looked at the last job. The adventurer.

('If I had this...I can use all spells from other classes...that means I can not only learn magic but also thief spells like invisibility. At least I hope that Thiefs have invisibility spell in their kit or else I will be disappointed. There also doesn't seem to be an assassin class anywhere. Which saddens me a lot. I wonder whether there is a way to unlock it or something...')

Luna looked at Yumi who was hesitating and almost had a heart attack when she saw what he picked.

"N-No wait...Yudai-san...please reconsider...This...It's really bad...Like seriously...You have so many classes to choose from...Please don't even joke about this...Switch your class to something else...Please..."

Yumi smiled and pressed enter on the card. The card gave off a white light and his registration was completed.

Luna grabbed her head with both of her hands and slumped onto her chair like a slug.

"This can't be...The fresh candidate...you can only change your class every two months...no... Why an Adventurer..."

She felt like crying.

"It's my choice. Don't worry about it. Well, anyway...I will sign up that weird contract with you if you still want to."

Luna lifelessly handed him the contract papers and murmured, "Ah...Such a great business chance was lost..."

After he was done, Aqua came forward and another uproar erupted.

"Not only are his stats perfect, but this woman also has great stats! What a day to be alive!"

"Another powerful comrade! Welcome!"

No one paid attention to Yumi anymore, as he picked the worst class ever even though he could pick any other. He became a fool in the eyes of others but he didn't really care about it that much. The more they underestimate him, the easier they will fall.

Aqua walked towards Yumi and put her slender finger on his cheek.

She poked it and giggled. "Amazing, aren't I? Everyone is worshipping me as they should be!"

Yumi ignored her and tried to locate Yunyun. After a while, he found her.

She was seated alone, in the dark corner of the pub and on the table, were three meals which she ordered for them.

('Yunyun...at least a single normal female in this world. I am glad I added her to my party.') He walked up to her and smiled at her.

"Hey. Thank you for ordering us food. I will give you money back later, okay?"

Seeing his warm smile, Yunyun blushed and replied, "N-No need! Y-You already gave me enough for the cave! This much for a friend is nothing!"

Aqua sat down with Yumi and together, they finally ate their breakfast.
