Maurine met Kyle as he was her brothers friend and their neighbor, she become close to him to the point that they are more likely to be called siblings than her brother Dalton, but years passed by and Maurine had realize that her feelings for Kyle was simply not normal, she likes him.
This made her avoid him for sometime but she sure can't completely, so, she act the same but knowing her feelings, it was like a poison in her young mind.
After sometime, though she still likes him she suppress her feelings as she realizes that he won't like her as he introduce girls who are quiet opposite of her. At first it hurts her but time went by, she got used to the girls he brings over, and thought that he would never be with a girl for over a year. So, she become confident that she started making friends with them, but some are really just a bitch that they can't get along. Fortunately, those girls were just hanging around them for just a week or so.
Just then, when a girl who's so different from those girls he had brought came she become totally defeated, fortunately she was kind and timid that they become close and Mau approve her for Kyle, but one time Mau saw her with someone else, like they were an item for a long time. At that time she wanted to tell everything to Kyle, but she couldn't as looking how he was so dejected, even though she ask him what's wrong he didn't tell her though she thought she knew, so she console him when she saw him looking at her and her new guy. Only to realize how Kyle love her when she saw them being fine, happy, and looking no problem between their relationship, even though she betray him, its like there was no drama that happened.
So she decided to leave for another country to forget him and try to move on. After 5 years she came back secretly as she wanted to surprise everyone, but as she surprises her friend in a bar, she was also surprise to see the mature Kyle. He change, he wasn't looking all that kind like before and he seems to stay away from girls that Maurine had a thought to know about him after the years she was gone.
She started by being notice by him, have a talk with him but he suddenly elevated things by asking intimate things as he ended asking for her place or his.
This made her have a second doubt but she admits, she was also getting excited, so she said yes.
As the morning came, Kyle woke up being in daze but notices a girl in his side, he was immediately felt horror and guilt. It was already three years since his last laid, so he may just have lost control over to himself.

But as she waked up, she sees his hesitating look, she immediately had her sanity regain. As he mention about not seeing her again she was angered and hold on to her last resort.
"So if ever Dalton would know this would you ever change your mind?" As she ask, her phone rang and a triumphant smile form in her lips. She wave her phone in front of Kyle who was late to realize what he read.
"Hello brother" she sweetly say.
Horror immediately past by Kyle's whole face.
