26 Conspiracy

In the evening, within the Uchiha clan's territory, in the backyard training ground of Chizuru's residence.

Chizuru was currently engaged in her daily combat training, and her opponents for the day were three elite Chunin from the Uchiha clan.

Her attire remained unchanged, with the only difference being that she now wielded a slender longsword.

Under the artificial lighting, the longsword gleamed with a cold light, exuding an aura of invincible sharpness.

This sword was known as the Thunderflash Blade, forged from a unique chakra-infused metal mixed with a special thunder-affiliated metal. It possessed excellent chakra conductivity and lived up to its name, generating lightning when infused with chakra.

With Uchiha Homura overseeing, the battle commenced.

Chizuru's Sharingan activated, and she channeled her thunder-affiliated chakra throughout her limbs. Withdrawing her sword, a burst of sharp thunder erupted.

In the next instant, over a dozen unique cranes formed from various lightning shapes suddenly appeared on the training ground where the thunder had just erupted.

As the lightning dissipated, the three elite Chunin let out simultaneous screams. The sword had impaled their chests, and they spurted hot blood before collapsing to the ground, their faces contorted in shock.

"Click~"

Chizuru stood behind them, sheathing her sword.

In a matter of seconds, she had defeated three elite Chunin with ease.

If this had been a life-and-death duel, she would have decapitated them.

"That's right, you've completely mastered that Lightning Dash secret technique. However, you should avoid using that particular move too frequently in the future. It's best to keep it as a final trump card. What did you call it just now?"

Homura Uchiha observed Chizuru, who had effortlessly taken down three elite Chunin from her own clan, and nodded with satisfaction, offering his praise.

Defeating three elite Chunin simultaneously wasn't particularly difficult, and every Konoha Jonin who had passed the rigorous exams could achieve such a feat.

This also held true for the Uchiha clan's elite Chunin.

However, for an eight-year-old girl to accomplish this was nothing short of astonishing.

Right now, Homura hoped that his granddaughter would continue to excel.

"Thunderflash," Chizuru replied emotionlessly.

Having spoken, she turned and walked away without a second glance at the three elite Chunin sprawled on the ground.

-------------------------------------------------------------

*Cough cough~*

After returning to her room, Chizuru found herself unable to hold back any longer. She slumped to the ground, her little face turning pale as she coughed and vomited blood.

"It's still a bit too much for me, but I've finally done it. Next time, I'll make that guy regret underestimating me."

Chizuru retrieved a handkerchief and wiped the blood from her mouth, her eyes filled with a hint of excitement.

The Thunderflash was a sword technique she had developed after mastering the Lightning Dash secret technique. It allowed her to use thunder-affiliated chakra to enhance her strength and speed dramatically. By utilizing lightning, she could move at speeds comparable to the Body Flicker Technique. Combined with the Shadow Clone Jutsu, she could create numerous clones that confused her opponents, disrupted their vision and hearing with thunder and lightning, and ultimately defeated them with her lightning-fast sword strikes.

Of course, her Sharingan played a crucial role in this technique, allowing her to see her opponents clearly even at high speeds.

However, creating this sword technique had taken a toll on Chizuru. In order to achieve the speed and power required for the Thunderflash, she had to push her body to its limits and endure significant physical strain. As a result, after using the Thunderflash, she felt drained of chakra, and her limbs were left weak and tingling.

If it weren't for an exceptional medical ninja and precious medicines to help her recover, it would take her at least a week to heal from the injuries caused by using the Thunderflash, and she might even develop long-term health issues.

For an eight-year-old like Chizuru, the Thunderflash was a high-risk move that could potentially cost her life if it failed to defeat her opponent.

*Knock knock~*

A knock on her door interrupted her thoughts.

"Master Chizuru, may I come in?" Sakura Uchiha's voice came from outside.

"Come in."

Chizuru struggled to get up and sat on her bed as Sakura entered the room, carrying a medical kit. Sakura skillfully used her Medical Ninjutsu to treat Chizuru's injuries.

Once Sakura had finished applying ointments and bandages to Chizuru's limbs, Chizuru inquired, "How is he doing now?"

"Who are you talking about?"

Sakura raised an eyebrow and looked at Chizuru with a mischievous glint in her eye.

Unfortunately, she didn't get the reaction she was expecting from Chizuru, so she said with a hint of disappointment, "Sadly you can't get any information from me. i have no idea"

"Understood, you can leave."

Chizuru replied coldly, and Sakura left the room.

As soon as Sakura exited, Chizuru opened her eyes again and muttered to herself, "That idiot, why did he reveal that kind of jutsu in front of so many people? Why didn't he use it when we sparred privately? He's gone too far."

Chizuru was aware that Kirito had become the target of the ANBU, and she had found out shortly after returning home. She knew it was related to the Magnetic Jutsu that he had displayed.

Not surprisingly, the next day wouldn't be easy for Kirito.

"But if it's you, it should be fine," Chizuru thought to herself.

Over the past two years, she had sparred with Kirito countless times, and while she often lost, she knew that it wasn't solely due to her hidden abilities. Kirito was clearly holding back as well.

For example, he had never used his most powerful sealing technique against her during their sparring sessions.

Now, after easily defeating three elite Chunin of the Uchiha clan with her Thunderflash technique, she believed that Kirito could do the same.

"Jonin... Am I capable of defeating one now?" Chizuru wondered.

She understood that there was a significant gap between Chunin and Jonin, not only in terms of chakra levels but also in physical fitness, combat experience, and ninjutsu proficiency. Every Jonin had survived numerous life-and-death situations, developed their own fighting styles, and possessed a well-rounded set of ninjutsu. Their combat prowess far surpassed that of Chunin.

Chizuru believed that her Thunderflash technique could injure a Jonin, but it would be extremely difficult to defeat one entirely. Jonin had various life-saving techniques and were highly skilled at evading death, which was why they had reached that rank in the first place.

She wondered how Kirito would fare against Jonin. If he encountered one, would he survive?

Will the Sand Village send Jonin after him?

"Why am I even concerned about that guy's life?" Chizuru scolded herself and tried to dismiss these thoughts.

After a while, she closed her eyes and murmured, "Kari."

"Master Chizuru, what are your orders?" Uchiha Kari, Chizuru's bodyguard captain, appeared beside her bed.

"Help me keep an eye on that idiot. Don't let anyone take his life. His life can only be taken by me," Chizuru said with a cold expression.

"I am Miss's guard, and I can't leave Miss's side," Uchiha Kari replied.

"Don't you even follow my orders?" Chizuru activated her Sharingan and stared at Uchiha Kari, her tone cold.

"I understand. I will follow your orders," Uchiha Kari sighed, accepting Chizuru's command, and then used the Body Flicker Technique to leave the room.

In Uchiha Homura's bedroom, Uchiha Kari informed him of Chizuru's order.

"My lord, are you really going to listen to Miss and protect that kid?" Uchiha Kari asked respectfully.

"Hehehe~" Uchiha Homura let out a deep laugh, wearing a meaningful and strange smile on his face. After a few seconds, he stopped laughing and replied, "Let's do as Chizuru said. The kid shouldn't die right now. However, unless he's on the brink of death, there's no need for us to intervene. I'll send someone else to protect Chizuru in your place."

"I understand." Uchiha Kari felt relieved and followed Uchiha Homura's orders.

Soon, he activated the Body Flicker Technique and disappeared from the room.

Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the northwest corner of Konoha Village, a shadow approached quietly.

A soft "swish" sound could be heard as a kunai flew through the air, piercing the shadow and pinning it to the ground.

As the clouds shifted, revealing the moonlight, a green- yellow skinned lizard came into view.

"A lizard?" Yun muttered to himself as he looked at the creature he had just killed. He had never seen this type of green-skinned lizard in Konoha before.

His gaze narrowed as he examined the lizard more closely, his expression growing serious.

With the dead lizard in his hand, Yun descended a set of spiral stairs that led underground. At the end of the stairs, he found a sealed door with a unique seal affixed to it.

Cirrus Yun approached the door, pressed a button on the left wall, and spoke, "I love braised pork."

After a few seconds, numerous sealing symbols appeared on the door, and it opened automatically.

He entered a spacious and well-lit basement filled with various glass containers, each holding strange objects suspended in green liquid.

Cirrus Yun glanced at the glass containers without much surprise, but his attention was drawn to one particular container. He quickly approached a young boy in a white lab coat.

The boy, around eight years old, had a height of about 1.2 meters. His face still bore the innocence of childhood, but his eyes held a depth that exceeded his years, as if he had experienced countless trials and tribulations.

This boy was Kirito, or more precisely, a shadow clone of Kirito.

He was examining a piece of tissue soaked in a glass container, his expression filled with excitement and obsession. To him, the oddly-shaped piece of fleshy tissue in front of him was not an ugly thing, but rather a beautiful work of art.

"Master Kirito, there's a situation," Cirrus Yun respectfully informed the eight-year-old boy.

Upon hearing Cirrus Yun's words, Kirito withdrew his gaze from the tissue and looked at the dead green- yellow skinned lizard in Cirrus Yun's hand with great interest. "a lizard, a nin lizard of the Wind Kingdom to be exact. It's a rare lizard from the desert, capable of growing into a big ninja beast. Adults can reach up to five meters in height, possess excellent invisibility abilities, and are a valuable creature."

"It's from the Wind Kingdom, which explains why I haven't seen this green- yellow skinned lizard in Konoha before. It appears that Sand Ninja Village has sent a spy. I didn't expect them to come so quickly," Cirrus Yun commented with a hint of coldness.

He had learned earlier from Nono that Kirito was being targeted by individuals from Sand Ninja Village. Consequently, he had followed Kirito's instructions and stayed at the orphanage. However, he hadn't anticipated that the spies would arrive at the orphanage so soon.

"It's not surprising. There are likely spies from Sand Ninja Village within the village itself. Although this lizard is small, it's still a genuine ninja beast. If it weren't for your exceptional sensory abilities, you might not have discovered it," Kirito remarked nonchalantly.

Cirrus Yun was a sensory-type ninja with extraordinary hearing as his innate talent. He was well-suited for guarding the orphanage, but he was well aware of the challenges posed by skilled spies. These spies were likely adept at infiltration and transformation techniques, making it difficult to identify them solely by their appearance.

"What should we do next? After their initial attempt, they'll likely try again, and their methods will probably be even more discreet," Cirrus Yun inquired, his expression growing tense.

As a former Konoha Jonin, he understood the difficulties of dealing with spies. Those sent by Sand Ninja Village to infiltrate Konoha might not be exceptionally powerful, but their abilities in camouflage, espionage, and detection were top-notch. They excelled in various deceptive transformation techniques, and their next attempt might involve posing as someone from the orphanage.

"Don't worry, I've already activated a seal within the orphanage. Its coverage extends throughout the entire facility. Without my consent and the passcode I've set, no strangers can enter. However, you'll have to work diligently in the future to replenish chakra into the chakra scrolls regularly," Kirito replied confidently.

The orphanage was his sanctuary, and he intended to safeguard it meticulously. The sealing barrier served as his first line of defense.

Kirito used a five-sealing enchantment, which required simultaneously unlocking five sealing symbols located in different directions to breach the barrier.

"Your preparedness is truly admirable, my lord. Rest assured, we'll ensure that the chakra scrolls are replenished regularly," Cirrus Yun said respectfully.

He was more than willing to be Kirito's subordinate, not only due to Kirito's promise to help him regenerate his missing arm and provide for his family in the future but also because he saw a promising future with Kirito.

Over the past two years, he had witnessed Kirito's progress firsthand, observing how this eight-year-old boy had grown. He remembered the competition he'd had with Kirito when he'd first met him two years ago. During that encounter, Kirito had swiftly and quietly placed a large-scale binding seal beneath his feet, rendering him powerless.

Kirito's proficiency in sealing techniques was truly remarkable. If executed quickly enough, such techniques could become a nightmare for adversaries.

Now, two years later, Cirrus Yun couldn't fathom the extent of Kirito's strength or the advanced level of his sealing techniques. However, based on his intuition as a Jonin, he sensed that this seemingly harmless and amiable boy could be exceedingly dangerous when he was serious.

"Please continue to remain vigilant in my absence. Without my main body, I can't use my limited chakra recklessly," Kirito added with a smile.

Cirrus Yun swiftly followed Kirito's orders, leaving the basement and ensuring the door closed securely behind him, concealing the sealing formula.

Meanwhile, Kirito remained engrossed in his work, focusing on the tissue soaked in the glass container. He muttered to himself, expressing his dissatisfaction with previous experiments and the challenges posed by Mito's powerful cells. Kirito hoped that the fusion experiment he was conducting would yield better results.

In the next moment, Kirito squatted down and placed his hand on the lifeless green-skinned lizard. A surge of chakra flowed from his hand, enveloping the lizard in intricate sealing techniques. As Kirito stood up, the lizard was shrouded in a black seal that twisted around its body before vanishing completely.

Kirito had used his Sealing Technique: Four-elephant (shrunk version) to contain the lizard's chakra and exile it to an unknown different space.

With a satisfied smile, Kirito muttered, "Although it conceals chakra subtly, there may be unknown ninjutsu hidden within the green-skinned lizard. However, with the Inner Four Elephant Seal, exiling it to an unknown dimension renders any attempts futile."

He then returned his attention to the tissue in the glass container, determined to make progress with his experiments.

In a private house in Konoha, an ordinary-looking Konoha Chunin suddenly opened his eyes, his expression quickly turning gloomy as he realized that the Dead Soul Technique he had placed on the lizard had disappeared.
