2 Learning about each other

Groaning, Naruto woke up feeling nice and warm for once in his life. 'Man what's so warm here' he thought, he would then decide to stay in bed. Pulling up the covers and once it covered him, he could feel movement beneath the sheets.

Moving the sheets upward to see what's causing the ruckus and all he could see was a bright creature curled up near his chest. He began to wonder what this creature was until the events of last night came back to him. Gaining the trust of the creature, to taking it inside his home.

'Is that what's making me warm' Naruto thought, not caring about this at all.

Laying back the creature began to move again. Looking at it in wondering what's going to happen, also trying not to move. Opening its eyes, the creature began to look around until it looked at Naruto.

"Hey there little fella, how did you sleep, ya know" Naruto greeted.

The creature could only wag its tail and jump on his head and began to hug him. Sitting still, Naruto let the creature hug him as it's fur was comfy.

Picking it up Naruto said "Let's stay in bed for a while if that's alright with you" as he began to put it down next to his chest.

The creature could only nod as it crawled close to Naruto's head and fell asleep while hugging his head. Naruto seeing what it's doing soon realized that he's also getting tired, so he leaned into the creature and began to go to sleep again.

Four hours later

Opening his eyes again, he looked at the creature hugging him and began to listen to every bit of its breath. Hugging it closer to him for more comfort but the creature rose its eyes after contact.

"Hey there, sorry about that. But are you ready to get out of bed" Naruto asked when petting the creature on its back?

The creature nodded and jumped off the bed and head to the living room of the apartment. '*groan* Well I guess he knows where to go in here then' Naruto thought. Getting up he headed to the kitchen where the being made of light was eating an apple.

Seeing that it was eating, he decided to make himself some ramen. 'Oh boy can't wait for some ramen dattebayo' Naruto thought as he watched the ramen boil in his pot. The smell of the ramen intrigued the white creature as it stood next to Naruto.

"Huh, never had ramen before," Naruto asked.

The creature shook its head still sniffing the ramen.

"No surprise, you were born yesterday." Naruto said until adding "I'll give you a taste"

When the ramen was done, Naruto got the cup of ramen and to a few sips. To say that ramen was the food of the gods was an understatement for Naruto. Getting a few noodles from his chop-sticks, he lowered them to the creature's mouth. When the creature took the noodles and gave a few chews and a swallow and began to think about the taste.

A few seconds later the creature seemed to smile and rub its cheeks with its hands. Naruto could tell the creature liked the ramen, so after a few bites of ramen for himself, he would get some noodles and give it to the creature. After a few minutes of sharing ramen, Naruto realized that there was no more ramen left.

"*burp* Man that was good, don't you think so little guy," Naruto asked while rubbing his stomach in contentment.

The creature nodded and smiled then it stood up and crawled up to Naruto's head and decided to rest there. Naruto giggled at the creature's antics to stay close to him. Grabbing the creature and putting him down, he went to the restroom to brush his teeth and got ready for today.

Finding his shirt from yesterday and putting it on he then headed towards the living room. When he entered the living room he then sits down on his couch. When the creature joined him in sitting down, Naruto looked at the creature still wondering what the being is. Picking up the creature, he began to look around the creature to see what it looks like.

From its ears to its body to the tail and still, he could not exactly tell what type of animal it is. It looks like a rabbit but also looks like a fox together.

"You are a different being, but still cute none the less" Naruto commented

The creature could only lay down as Naruto put it next to himself on the couch.

"Well if you're going to stay here then might as well give you a name then, dattebayo" Naruto suggested.

The creature looks at Naruto in confusion and still was confused after Naruto picks it up and brought it closer.

"Hm, you look like your made of light. I think I shall name you Ori. I saw it on a book that I was forced to read by Hokage Jiji" Naruto commented.

The creature now named Ori looked at Naruto and then beamed up in happiness and jumped on Naruto's chest and began to crawl around Naruto. Naruto laughed and tried to catch Ori who was crawling around him. He finally caught Ori around his legs and then brought it closer and hugged it.

Getting up from the couch Naruto exclaimed: "Well I'm going out do want to come with me". Ori became a little worried about being out because of the dangers. But it would think of Naruto so it gained its courage and decided to stand next to Naruto.

The next thing that Naruto knew was that Ori was climbing up on Naruto. Before Naruto could ask what Ori was doing he then saw Ori get inside his shirt. Remembering that he carried Ori in his shirt with no problem he proceeded to exit his apartment. When he locked his door Ori moved around in his shirt and stopped when Ori popped his out of Naruto's shirt.

"You ready Ori" Naruto asked.

Ori nodded his head and with that Naruto began to walk around the village giving a tour to Ori. As Naruto guided Ori around the village Ori would be amazed and scared of the villagers, it would even hide in Naruto's shirt from time to time when he saw a villager.

'I guess Ori likes the village but is still scared of people' Naruto thought as he was reminded how Ori acted when it met Naruto.

Walking through a few streets and intersections Naruto soon found himself at the ninja academy. Looking at it Naruto began to think about the fun times he will have next year when he is old enough to join.

"You see that Ori, that place is my first step to becoming Hokage of the village" Naruto exclaimed with a gleaming smile.

Ori popped it's head out of his shirt and looked at the building. Seeing that Ori was observing the academy Naruto scratched Ori behind the ears. In the middle of doing this, he heard a cry somewhere.

'What was that' Naruto thought as he looked around.

He heard the scream again and pinpointed the source to the forest beside the academy. Naruto then quickly ran to where the source was coming from. When he arrived in what seemed to be a clearing of some sort and when he looked forward he saw something that made his blood boil. There in the middle was a group of three boys surrounds this girl who was crying.

"Oh, I did we just make a Hyuga cry. Hahaha hey, guys look at this freak once we tell everyone that we made a Hyuga freak cry well be popular" taunted one guy.

"Hehe, yeah we are" replied another guy.

Having enough, seeing that the girl was getting hit by the third bully while the other two were talking, he grabbed a rock and with perfect accuracy threw it to the boy who was hitting the girl in the head.

"Hey what are you doing to her" Naruto demanded?

"What does it matter to you huh" one replied.

"Seeing you bully a person is a matter. Now as future Hokage I am going to stop you then" Naruto shouted.

The only response then and there was laughter from the three boys.

"Hahaha, the future Hokage, wow what a classic good one kid," the tallest one said clenching his stomach from laughter.

Having none of it, Naruto charged and landed a punch to the shorted kid in the head. Launching him to a tree and landing, out of the fight already.

"Who's next" Naruto yelled as he began to charge the second kid nearby.

Surprisingly the kid was ready for the attack and ducked Naruto's punch from his head. When the kid was low he took a few jabs at Naruto's chest. Getting hit Naruto quickly stepped back to get some space for a breather. Finally catching his breath he charged at him again with something different in mind. The kid thinking about the head punch ducked again but was baffled as Naruto did a spinning kick which landed on his face. Launch him close to his friend who was previously fallen victim to Naruto's assault.

"Wait where's the last guy," Naruto asked out loud.

But it was too late as he was hit in the head and fell. Looking up he could see the tallest kid with a thick stick in his hands. The edge of the stick was full of blood, and testing to see if's it's true, Naruto reached his right hand to touch his head. When he saw his hand again it was covered with blood, his blood. With newfound rage, he again charged at the kid but then felt a rough and hard kick to his chin launching him up into the air.

When Naruto landed he tried to get up as fast as he could but couldn't do so as the taller, heavier kid was sitting on top of him constantly hitting him in the head. Every blow shaking his head, the pain too much but too little. Looking down in his shirt he could see Ori with tears in his eyes, obviously worried about Naruto.

Naruto then felt himself getting picked up from his shirt collar before getting spit on in the face. 'If you want to fight dirty then so be dattebayo' Naruto thought coming up with a plan to turn the fight around. Looking down again he could see Ori, tears in his eyes still, who suddenly got determined to fight. Naruto could slightly nod and looked back at the bully. Raising his leg, he soon kicked the bully in the groin but not before giving him a headbutt. With Naruto dropped on the ground he could felt Ori move suddenly out of his shirt and began growling at the kid. Looking at Ori, worried that it could get hurt but was rather surprised as Ori jumped up on the kid and began biting him all over his body but mostly his hands.

Having enough he grabbed Ori and kick it in the gut, Naruto looked on in shock as Ori spit out, well spit, and landed and rolled to the ground until it landed on Naruto's chest. Naruto looked up at the bully only to find out the bully was crying and was holding his hand. Getting up to approach him the bully then gathered his bully and ran away.

'I guess that's it then huh' Naruto thought before he felt an arm tug at his shirt. Looking at Ori, he was shocked to see Ori clenching his stomach. Quickly picking up Ori and brought it closer to his chest and began soothing it.

"Shh, it's ok I'm here dattebayo" Naruto whispered.

He only got a whimper in response he was about to go find some help until a hand touched his shoulder. Looking back he could see it was the girl that was being bullied recently.

"Oh hey, what are you doing," Naruto asked.

"I-I-I just w-wanted t-to thank you for h-helping me," she said.

"I'm sorry about your friend but here have some ointment that I've kept" she gestured as she handed out a green bottle full of liquid.

"Thank you" Naruto thanked.

"No problem oh and uh, here this was torn apart from you" she then raised her hand and revealed a red scarf he would sometimes wear.

Seeing it he responded "Thank you but you can keep it," Naruto said.

"Ok oh, and before I forget what is your name," she asked.

"Oh, my name is Naruto Uzumaki dattebayo" Naruto replied.

"Oh my name is Hinata Hyuga" Hinata replied as well.

She stood up and began to walk away leaving Naruto to apply the ointment she gave to Ori, not caring about his well-being. Getting some ointment on his palms, he then began to apply them to Ori's stomach where it was kicked from the fight. After a few minutes of rubbing the ointment on Ori's stomach, Ori began to stir and slowly open its eyes.

"Hey there Ori are you ok," Naruto asked worried about its health.

Ori nodded its head and slowly stood up. After a few minutes of stumbling progress to walk, Ori, with the help of Naruto, climbed up his arms and then went inside Naruto's shirt to rest. When Ori was comfortable in Naruto's shirt, Naruto then heads out to the Hokage building wanting to visit the old man. When Naruto arrived at the Hokage building, rushing past the secretary of the building, he soon found himself in front of two doors that the Hokage resides.

Bashing the door open Naruto shouted, "Hey what are you doing old man!"

The Hokage who was doing his paperwork brushed his paperwork to the side out of momentary fear from Naruto's barging into the room.

'No the paperwork' the Hokage shouted in his head.

Looking upon who scared him, the Hokage could only smile in amusement as it was Naruto who scared him.

"My, my Naruto why did you have to scare me like that," he asked

Now that was many things the Hokage was afraid to admit to anyone other than Naruto. The Hokage's name was Hiruzen Sarutobi, The Professor of Jutsu, was what the people called him. He's been through hell and back in the 2nd shinobi war. Becoming the 3rd Hokage after the assassination of the 2nd Hokage, who would then train Jiraiya who would become the toad sage, Tsunade who is the best medic in the world, and finally Orochimaru the snake sage. But currently all of his students, known as the Three Sanin, all left the village as rogue shinobi or to wander the world. Hiruzen has been known for accomplishing many things in his life with no fear. That was until Naruto came into the picture and changed everything.

"Sorry, Ji-san but I'm feeling excited since my first day in the academy is now closer than ever" Naruto replied.

"Ah yes, the academy. Are you excited to become a shinobi Naruto?" the Hokage asked.

"You know it dattebayo" Naruto shouted.

With Naruto shouting with every response to the Hokage's questions began to stir Ori inside Naruto's shirt. All the while Naruto nor the Hokage noticed the movement inside Naruto's shirt. Finally deciding to see what's going on outside of Naruto's shirt, Ori pokes his head out of Naruto's shirt.

The Hokage then looked down to Naruto's shirt only to be surprised by the strange creature hiding in the shirt.

"My Naruto what's that in your shirt," the Hokage asked.

"Oh this is my new friend Ori, I found him yesterday in the forest" Naruto replied after he picked up Ori and began holding him.

The Hokage has never seen a creature before. The Hokage then stood up and tried to get closer to Ori. When he was close, Ori then whimpered and climbed back closer to Naruto and then went inside his shirt.

"Haha, sorry old man Ori doesn't like other people," Naruto said.

"Hey is it ok for me to bring Ori to the academy with me please" Naruto begged?

"Ok, since you probably will keep bothering me about it if I said no," the Hokage said.

When the Hokage went back to his chair and began to do paperwork again he ushered Naruto out. When the Hokage ushered Naruto out, Naruto then walked to another place he would hang out whenever he was hungry. Hearing his stomach rumble Ori peeked out and looked at Naruto in confusion.

Seeing the confusion Naruto said, "I'm just hungry that's all, we're going to one of my favorite places to eat anyways because they make the best ramen in the world".

With the word ramen coming out of Naruto's mouth Ori began to get a little excited about eating ramen again.

When Naruto arrived at his favorite place named Ichiraku Ramen and sat down, he took out Ori and put him on the table in front of him. Ori stood up and stretched its legs and sat down next to Naruto.

"Hey Teuchi and Ayame are you there" Naruto called out.

After a few moments, a little girl wearing a kitchen outfit came out and greeted Naruto.

"Hey there Naruto, what would you like to order," she asked.

"I would like one big bowl for me and my friend here" Naruto responded as he also pointed to Ori.

"Aw, whos this cute little guy" Ayame screamed as she got closer to Ori.

Ori began to back up slightly and then jumped onto Naruto's arms.

"Sorry he doesn't like people," Naruto said while laughing.

"Aw, that's a shame" Ayame groaned out before she went to the back and began to cook the ramen next to an old guy who was doing something else with ingredients. Soon said old guy then walked out with a bowl of ramen for Naruto and Ori.

"Here you go Naruto and you," he said before going back to making more ramen.

"Thank you Teuchi" Naruto called out before digging in on the ramen.

While eating Naruto felt a tug on his shirt, looking to his left he saw Ori tugging his shirt. He smiled and got a few ramens from his chop-sticks and fed them to Ori. Ori seemed to beam at the taste of ramen as if it was better than the one at home. When Ori swallowed his fill he tugged Naruto again and got another mouthful of ramen again. After a few minutes of eating ramen, they soon found out that they have no more ramen left, with that Naruto paid and picked up Ori and went to his.

After Naruto found his apartment, he quickly entered it and put Ori down inside the apartment. Looking outside again and finding no one near, Naruto closed the door and locked it. After that, he would focus on brushing his teeth and then would clean himself in the shower. After all of that was done he soon wore his pajamas and went to bed. Not without lifting the covers waiting for Ori to climb up and curl into a ball next to his neck and chest area. Finally covering himself and Ori in his bedsheets, he could only hug Ori and fall asleep in peace, something that hasn't happened for a long, long time.
