Three Months isn't a long amount of time considering the grand scheme of things, but for ken it was monumental.
Three months of backbreaking, knee jerking, gruelling hard work paid off all today.
"Soichiro Ken"
Hearing his name being called upon Soichiro calmly gets up from his seat and walks to stand infront of his examiners.
For...., you guessed it right,his graduation exam.

Flashback No Jutsu..
Two months three weeks ago;
It was a sunny day with birds chirping, people moving around the streets in a haze while street hawkers sold their wares.
Well not for Ken, For today was the day he will take a step into the path of power leveling with iryo jutsu as a clutch.
Ken was already feeling the goosebumps of learning the mystical palm technique and using it to heal his muscles everyday after training to do some more.
Ken snapped out of his daydreams and found himself in front of Konoha's finest
(A/N:Well Only)hospital.
'Man,Do I have to stop monologuing, One day I'll die without even knowing how I got offed if it goes on like this'

He finds the receptionist and inquires about Shin katsuo.
The receptionist looks at ken with pity, "Why do you want to meet him kid?"
"Well, I'm starting as an intern under him today."
She stares at ken like he was a lost cause,sighs and motions to him.
"You can find him in the second floor last room around the corridor".
Ken confused but not minding her behaviour thanks her and moves on.
A nurse comes up to the receptionist seeing her still looking at ken's receding back and teases her,"I didnt know you liked them that young hikari".
Hikari embarrassedly waves her hand denying it and says, "Thats the kid going to join under Shin as an intern".
The nurse's face quickly morphs into worry, "Is it really ok for a kid to work under him,Shin never cuts slack on anyone especially the newbies"
Hikari meanwhile just shakes her head "Theres nothing we can do"(A/N:Insert Napoleon sitting memes)
Ken meanwhile unaware of the pitfall he's about to jump into happily walks and knocks on the rooms door pointed out by hikari.
Silence....
Ken waits for a few minutes and recieves no response. He slowly pushes the door to see if it's locked only to find the door opening.
Ken peers into the room and finds the room to be in darkness with no light turned on.
'Was that woman playing a prank on me'.
Ken slowly steps into the room and finds a standard office room with a bookshelf to his left, a table in front of him and a shelf filled with small beakers, tubes and other chemical equipment and a cupboard to his right.
"Huh,Theres no one here. She must've really been bored out of her mind to play a prank on a kid"
Ken turns around only to come into contact with a face close to his, screaming he jumps back and takes a battle stance.
Meanwhile sweatdropping,'What the fuck! I didn't feel his presence all this time. Thats it I should start training my perception and other senses from now on, punching things won't work if l don't know where and who to punch'
Meanwhile the Man if he could be called that blankly stares at Ken.He was wearing a labcoat which looked as if it was on its last legs,Had messy black hair with a stubble showing how poor the man was at taking care of himself, His back hunched and face set in a stoic demeanour, he could've been miataken for a corpse if he did not blink once in a while.
"Finished with your internal monologue boy?,If so lets go we have some work to do."
"Umm, Excuse me mister are you shin katsuo. I'm Soichiro ken,Gai sensei recommended me to you for an internship"
"I know who and why you are here boy, You will find a pair of scrubs and a lab coat inside the cupboard wear them and come to the underground floor"
"Your work is to take notes of what I say when I do autopsy on corpses and help me in dissecting of them".
Ken meanwhile blanked out when hearing the words autopsy and dissection.
"Wai... Wait a minute,You work in the morgue. I didnt sign up for this I thought you would be a doctor whose expertise lay in healing."
"What do you mean by that brat, I gave you a whole week to think about whether you want to come here or not."Said shin while glaring at Ken.
He stares at ken and slowly asks,"Gai did tell you about me didn't he? "
Ken denies,"He only told me your name and when to come to the hospital".
Shin just rubs his temples no doubt frustrated by whats happening, "Damn you Gai,Repaying a favor is it, I would've kicked your ass if I could"
He sighs and looks at ken,"So what do you wanna do kid,I'm a busy man and don't wanna waste my time. So think about it".
Ken relaxes his posture and furrows his brows.
'Damn it Gai,No Gai isn't at fault here, The reason I'm hesitating is cause I'm still stuck with the views of my old world,they too had morgues.The problem isn't with the morgues,I've been denying a simple fact,to survive here I'll have to kill and i haven't even killed even a bunny before.This is my chance I'll either come out of here as a shinobi or should I fail just go home and forget about surviving here'.

Ken's thought process was on hyperdrive as he came to his conclusion.
"I'll stay mister,I'll one day have to kill, this may be the first step to getting used to it".
"Good, I expect nothing less of Gai's student".
Shins demeanor undergoes a change as he smiles slightly at ken.
'I lied when I said you have to take part in dissecting corpses'.
Ken deadpans and glares at Shin screaming,"So this was a test, Do you know what I had to go through the last few minutes to say yes just for you to spit on my decision".
Ken huffs angrily and turns away.
Shin just chuckles,"While I did say that you don't have to dissect corpes it was just for now, you'll start doing it after a month, so i suggest you mentally prepare yourself".
Ken just nods along."I understand sensei"
So began Ken's internship under Shin.
Ken's Knowledge and determination were pushed to the limits during his time at the morgue.
He slowly started to get desensitised to the sight of dead bodies and progressed further into the art of healing under shin's guidance.
Dissecting corpses helped him gain knowledge of how the human body works and thus an increasing understanding of how to heal said body.
All his efforts culminated into the result of him mastering the mystical palm jutsu and the chakra scalpel jutsu in a month.
His training on the other hand picked up pace after learning iryo jutsu and his chakra control and chakra reserves increased leaps and bounds.
He could comfortably walk on water with him carrying a total load of 50 kilos per limb.
His other notable improvements were being able to use the academy three without hand seals.
End of Flashback No Jutsu.....
Ken walks out of the examination room with a swagger to his steps and konohas hitai-ate wrapped on his left bicep and returns towards his home.
