Pinky! Pokémon Battle with a Lion?!

"LUFFY! PROMISE ME YOU'LL NEVER LET THAT BIRD GET AWAY" Koby shouted. while his Poké dex was beeping. He just didn't notice it.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING KOBY?!" Zoro said, fighting his urge to smack the brat.

"HEEEEEEEELLLLLPPPPP MEEEE!!" Luffy pleaded.

"Hurry up and row the boat with me koby" Zoro said, Koby looks at his Captain and the bird. He decided to use his strongest friend. "Don't worry Zoro, leave it to me! just prepare the ropes for the boat and tie it." Koby psyche himself and throws a red ball. Zoro just watched his crewmate.

All Zoro saw was that a poké ball was thrown and spits out a big creature. and then he saw Koby jump at its back with his bird and called him for the ropes which he absentmindedly throws it to Koby. After that...

*Whoooooshhh* Koby tied the rope to his arm and let Salt move towards the direction Luffy went. luckily he didn't slip. he tried this many times.

"ZORO! meet the kindest member in my team. its name is Salt. Coo, Don't lose the track of the bird. it's going to be your partner." Koby said to them. the boat was moving so fast right now that Zoro can't even make of what Koby said.

"Heeeeey! stop right there!" "Pleasee let us join you" Some people on the sea was shouting at them.

"Shipwreck people? at a time like this. Just jump on the boat and be careful of the whale." Zoro said. too bad, but the boat was really fast and they can't catch up and jump on it.

Luffy was on the bird thinking 'what did Koby say? Eat this bird? ah. What's that sound?'

*Boooooom* A Cannonball hit them. Luffy didn't sustain any damage but the bird was letting him go.

'Not on my watch' Luffy stretches his crossed finger "Gomu Gomu no Ami(net)" and spread it until he catches the bird. the two continued to fall. Luffy won't even feel the fall damage because he's a rubberman.

the two fall. Luffy dusted himself and looks for his treasure, his Straw hat. he saw that the bird fainted beside him.

"Now I'm free. what to do with this dumb bird." Luffy said. while thinking about what did Koby said to him.

He doesn't realize that besides himself and the bird, there was an orange-haired lady and a bunch of pirate henchmen.

"Thank you, buddy, for the ride. Come and take a break Salt." Salt returns to its poké ball. Koby and Zoro followed Coo. there they saw a bunch of pirates that are knocked down and a pink bird. Koby excitedly threw his poké ball to the bird. the bird simply vanishes.

"Koby? where did that bird go? and what's with your pets and that ball?" questioned Zoro.

"I'll tell you later, We better find our captain first. let's split up." Zoro agreed and went to find their captain. Koby knows that Luffy is now at Buggy but the town is large and he did not know where the scene will happen.

"Coo, I told you to find our Captain, not pet food." Koby complained. after splitting up with Zoro. Koby told Coo to scout the area. He also made friends with the dog at the front of the pet store. unlike pirates that are untidy. Koby and his natural disposition were so friendly that even animals open up to him.

He wanted to buy some pet food for his team but there was no one in the shop. he decided to stay here and let Coo find his crewmates.

Coo came back. Together with his captain and first-mate. also with an orange-haired lady. " Ooooyyyy Kobbyyy!!" Luffy immediately beams at him in the cage. 'Cage? oh, even if I know the story, it's getting harder to remember.' Koby noticed that Zoro was walking wobbly. he went to help him with the cage and let Zoro rest.

"Luffy, I thought you are just messing around when you said that news coo is your friend. but it looks true." The lady said. "I am Nami. Nice to meet you." "She's our navigator Koby!" Luffy cuts in.

Koby went and unlocked the cage for Luffy. and then the mayor of the town showed up. he let Zoro rest up in a bed inside the pet store. Then the crew knew about the story of the town and how Buggy terrorizes it. Luffy got mad and gets ready to beat them up. Koby was also mad. he still has his sense of justice, he also negotiated with the mayor about the pet food inside the store.

Koby let Coo inside his Poké Ball and let Chimchar out. "ChimChimchar!" Nami was surprised by this and the mayor. "Luffy can you see that? that's my battle. I won't let you have all the fun and battles." Koby pointed to a silhouette that looks like a bear or a lion.

"Don't lose Koby! I'm gonna go beat some pirates who don't hold dear to their treasure!" Luffy said. and went to find buggy. the mayor talked to Luffy about why he is doing this. He just doesn't like Buggy and it's crew.

The mayor talked about some guy called beast tamer. Koby laughed. maybe this is his rival. He's a pokemon trainer that fights with his team. That tamer just commands them. he doesn't even treat the lion as a partner.

"Oh, so you escaped your prison Straw hat. I don't want to kill you but just tell me where Rorona Zoro is? Captain Buggy is looking for him!" Mohji and his pet, Richie threatened Luffy.

"HEY! Beast tamer. I'm a pokemon trainer that trains creature. Let's see who's better!" Challenged Koby. He also enlarges a Poké Ball and throws it. "Luffy! Thank you for this, it is now my friend. Meet Pinky! uhm... You should go now Luffy to Buggy and kicked his butt." Luffy saw that the monstrous bird that tried to eat him was there.

Luffy's mouth was in O shape and his eyes again turned to stars. "KKKOO-koby!! Is that true?! it's our friend now?"

Mohji was also ticked by the words of Koby and he insulted his captain. "Fine. you don't know how terrifying this beast tamer is. SIC HIM! RICHIE!" Then the lion Moved towards pinky and chimchar.

'Finally, a Pokémon battle' Koby thought. he can't but smile at this. Pokémon battle in one piece?!
