Luffy! The Man who will be the Pirate king!
It's been 2 years since Koby became a pokemon trainer. During his time as a cabin boy in Alvida's ship. as a modern boy and a simple boy in east blue, he didn't know what to do on a pirate ship that's why he studied and works hard to know about the things to do on a pirate ship.
And that is why Alvida noticed him even more instead of forgetting him. He keeps on working even the crew members started to notice him. As usual, pirates are rowdy people. on occasions where these pirates tend to bully him or harass him. this Koby won't take it with a smile and begs for forgiveness, unlike the cannon Koby. he uses this opportunity to familiarize himself to battle using the moves of normal and fighting pokemon and tried to increase his stats and moves.
Although these fights end up either his win or loss, he still learned from it. and so the Alvida pirate crew learned to respect him a little. he's still the cabin boy where he gets ordered always by Alvida, for example, telling him who is the most beautiful lady in the ocean and other tasks.
"Anyone but not you!" Koby's reply to the question. This always makes Alvida mad at him and teaches him a lesson with a club or not. he learned a defensive move from always getting hit by the club. And this is his daily routine in the ship excluding his pokemon.
Speaking of pokemon. He now has a flying type pokemon which he got from capturing a news coo. A water Pokemon with the size of a caravan ship. Chimchar was also noticed by the crew. Sometimes Chimchar won't go inside of the Poké ball and continues to explore the ship on the back or shoulder of Koby. Many pirates wanted to sell the monkey. but when they tried to do it, oh! the pirates can smell burning and charcoal. but Koby told his partner to hold back and just let them have a taste of [Ember], not burn them. just the hair. the duo laughed every time it happens.
Alvida tried to pet the monkey but for her, the monkey is not beautiful and disgusting. not knowing she is one too. (at least until when she eats the sube sube no mi) Monkey + Pirate is a Man's Romance. the only missing is a parrot.

During these 2 years, since he was small. Koby decided to focus on speed and more ways to attack. by working on the ship, and fighting some ruffians/pirates and sometimes marines. he also started to explore the aura moves by the pokemon since it is like haki.

Koby captured a lone whale that comes from west blue but somehow got into the east blue hence he decided to be friends with it in case some people decided to kill the whale for them to eat. he can surf with the whale on its back but chose to stay on the crew so he will know when the cannon will start. sadly Coo can't carry him to fly.
Now in the present, Koby explores the passenger ship until he saw a big barrel in the kitchen. thinking it might be the future pirate king, he waited until fluffy will wake up. but then 3 pirates came inside the kitchen looking greedily at the large barrel.
"look, guys, Koby got this alcohol for us." Pirate A said
"I was just feelin' thirsty!" Pirate B said
"Hahahahahahaha I forgot about this. Sorry, but you can't take this, Alvida will know about it." Koby exclaimed
"Then you just need to keep your mouth shut! right, Koby?" Pirate C replied taking out his dagger.
"Hold yer Horses! I'll bust it right open." pirate A said, getting ready to open the barrel using his fist!
Suddenly the barrel broke and a boy with a straw hat emerges from it hitting pirate A in the chin with his fist and everyone got shocked even Koby because it happens fast and also Luffy is close, his favorite anime protagonist.
"I slept Greaaaaaaaaaaattttt!" said the man with a straw hat. then he checks his surroundings and watches Pirate A knocked down. he also asks the pirates who are they.
"Who the hell are you!" Pirates B and C said together, then they decided to attack the man because he keeps on ignoring them. Strawhat guy got intense and broke their sword which freaks them out and asks who he is.
"Me? I'm Monkey D. Luffy! Nice to meetcha!" Luffy grins. the pirates ran from him and Koby stopped daydreaming, he went to Luffy and said "Nice to meetcha! I'm Koby" the two shook hands.
"What's with them? But man, I sure am hungry!" Luffy continued at his own pace. Koby replied "How can you be so carefree!" Koby shakes his head. "C'mon there's a lot of food in the storage." Koby leads Luffy to the storage.
"Yossh! Foooood! So many Food!" Luffy said excitedly and starts to dig in. "Jackpot! these are great." koby just continues on watching him eat. "Luffy right? That was amazing." luffy asked, "is this a Pirate ship?" Koby replied "no, it's a passenger ship that's being raided by Alvida. hmm? How did you get into the barrel Luffy?"
"My ship got swallowed by this giant whirlpool, boy! that was a real surprise!" luffy said while eating those apples. koby facepalmed. "Are you one of these pirates?" luffy asks.
Koby looks down. thinking this is where the cannon and him will collide. 'i decided it a long time ago. I won't be a marine. I'm gonna go to unique places and find unique animals to capture and be friends with them! and following Luffy to his adventure is much more fun than the marines!' Koby thought. He clenched his fist.
"Luffy!"
