13 First sail in Merry! Bounty hunters!

Early in the morning. Koby was setting up some provisions for their new caravel class ship called Going Merry and put the boat they used for the first time they sailed at the back of the ship. waiting for others to come. last night, he learned that Kaya gave them a ship and he decided to see his if he can examine his dream ship. koby's memories from the modern world strongly wish to set sail on Going Merry. he also can't help to familiarize himself with the boat first. hence he spent the night at the ship. he was tired after maintaining and checking its function and dozed off.

Luckily, Merry the butler informed the others that Koby is safe when they went looking for him. and so, they spend the night at Syrup Island. In the morning Usopp was saying his farewell to his house with his large backpack. Zoro, Luffy, and Nami together with Merry and Kaya were coming down the slope. Then they were amazed by the ship. Merry the butler Introduced the ship, he already talked with Nami about operating the ship. Kaya was there thanking them again and bidding farewell. She also said that Koby already loaded it with everything they need on a voyage. Luffy then thanks her.

Koby came out from the storage room and went to the deck. "Oh, you're here guys? C'mon up! ill give you guys a tour haha!" he then boasted. Luffy and Zoro were annoyed by his skit. then all of them saw a big backpack with Ussop strapped in were rolling down the slope. the Monster duo stopped him to avoid collision with the ship. Usopp then talks with Kaya saying their dreams and farewells to each other, while the crew watches them teasingly from the ship.

"You guys! Let's meet again sometime." Usopp said. not knowing how Luffy recruits people. Ussop was moved when Luffy told him they're friends already. Zoro also encouraged the long-nosed to come to the ship. Koby and Nami just smile at him. "I... I get to be the CAPTAIN right?!" Usopp rejoiced. Luffy strongly rejected that.

"For our new ship and crewmate, CHEERS!" Captain Luffy and the others celebrated!

after sailing for a bit of time. they all did their own business. Usopp was playing a scenario about his epic adventure and got disappointed that everyone did their thing. Luffy was painting something. Zoro was, as usual, taking a nap. Nami's busy watching the map and navigating. Koby with a briefcase beside him was tinkering about his pokédex while humming. "IT'S DONE! our pirate flag." they all watched Luffy. and the scene in the cannon played out. Usopp was the one who drew their flag.

taking this chance. Koby talked. *coughs* "Everyone listen carefully. Remember about what I did at Usopp's island? I said ill take care of those pirates." The crew nodded. he continued. "Well, considering that time we still didn't have a proper ship and a flag. I took the chance of reporting those pirates to the navy." the rest was surprised about this. and knows what this conversation will lead to. Nami's eye was already a Beli sign.

"That kind of pirates should've never gone on pirating ever again!" Koby was dead serious. Usopp was glad that the ones who tried to raid his village will now rot in prison. "As you can guess. I got the bounty rewards for them." Koby showed them the content of his briefcase.

"Oh my!" "Nicely done Koby!" Nami and Zoro said respectively. Nami was twitching and squirming while her gaze was locked on the money.

"Can we buy many types of meat with these?" Koby just nods at Luffy's question. And The captain daydreamed about different types of meat while drooling. Usopp went to Koby and said.

"Thank you for what you did to them, Koby! I'll pay you back. As promised by this Captain Usopp!" Usopp exaggerated while thumping his chest!

"I'll be sure to rely on you Cap!" Koby played along. he's still the youngest of them all. He also told the group. "Okay, so we all did our best that fight. The Straw hat pirates won that battle. that's why we're splitting the money equally. any concerns?" They all shake their head. "It's 6,400,000 each." He then divided the money and gave it to them. the boys were saying that they haven't held too much money before. "HAHAHA Trust me, Later down the road, this kind of money will be just like a cent for us. right, PIRATE KING?" Koby assured them. "OF COURSE!" replied the future pirate king. and they all can't help to daydream again. for Luffy, He's swimming from the sea of meats.

Nami daydreams of swimming in a bathtub made of gold with bathwater made of gold (*Thumbs up* gamer girl) and she was experiencing true freedom.

Zoro was daydreaming about a high-class Japanese house and the one who's serving him has eyes like a hawk. and he just keeps on sipping his tea. (a/n: I don't know what Zoro wanted)

Usopp was daydream about his marriage with Kaya in a Flashily way in which some clown will be proud of.

it affected Koby too. There's too much temptation in his Pokédex shop. things like leaf stone, berries, some foldable bikes, keystones, and the one thing he really wants is a Z-ring which costs millions or even billions because you all also need to buy the crystals. 'well, no use in thinking about that right now. gotta focus on what to buy that helps with our growth as a crew and team' Koby thought.

After the daydreaming, they cheered and talked about what are they gonna buy with this. Usopp did have a point of arming Merry with some cannons and such. the two idiots Luffy and Usopp tested fire the cannon. Nami noticed that her share was more than what they divided. Nami looked at Koby who noticed her gaze and just winked. (a/n: SIMP!!) Koby paid back his debt and went on tinkering again in his Pokédex.

At their meeting/kitchen. the crew was waiting for Koby to finish his cooking. Nami was scribing something. while the others were either taking a nap or talking about the position of a crewmate. Nami first wanted to cook if they all pay her for it. Zoro questioned Koby if he cooked for the pirates when he was a chore boy that time, Koby nodded. they let him cook for the time being.

"Everyone if you're looking for a cook, Baratie is the place to look for. I learned to cook there" Koby said while serving them what he cooked. after eating, and they also continued on idle talks.

"Come out you damn pirates" Someone shouted and destroyed some barrels. they moved to the voice that they heard.

"What the... Who the hell are you?!" Luffy snapped back. they all went out. Koby thinks he saw this scene somewhere. 'Oh right, Zoro's henchmen. am I the only of us here became a henchman instead of being their boss?' he shuddered.

after some time the misunderstanding was resolved but it led them to what they talked about a while ago. A decent cook is needed! the bounty hunters also recommended Baratie when recruiting cooks. Koby said he'll take the lookout for today and went out.

He also releases his team and went to the crow nest. he felt free! he also fulfilled his wish of sailing on Merry. "I'm enjoying my 2nd life so far kami-sama" Koby prayed. he hoped it will reach the God who reincarnated him.
