"Fall back!.. Retreat!... Chaka-sama is injured." (royal army mob A)

"What... do we do now?" (royal army mob B)

"Retreat to the square!... stay close!" (royal army mob C)

"Where's the bald guy who attacked Chaka-sama? (royal army mob D)

"Uh... just retreat! Don't jinx us, Chaka-sama didn't even last long on their exchange." (royal army mob E)

"... Oh! I saw him chasing after a man." (royal army mob S)

The royal army was in disorder, Their leader had been taken down and was sent to the medics. The only option for them is to retreat to square and meet up with the other guardian of Alabasta, Pierre, and to take orders from him.

Luckily the man who cut down Chaka didn't follow them or else, there's going to be more casualties in their ranks. some of them are filled with injuries, they can hear the threats of the outlaws. it's hard to keep the morale up when the leader/commander is gone.

The outlaws were out of control, all they can see is a retreating army. No one was walking towards them. With this, they have won the war. is what the majority of the outlaws think. while the others were just happy to hack and slash or looting the deserted homes.

And then came a strange scene where a pink-haired boy with an angry facial expression was running at them... Yes, At them not away from them. the boy's attire looks native but you can feel that this guy is not from this country because that boy has a cape around him. they sneered and keep on hacking others. until!

"Oooooorah!" (???)

*bone's breaking* + *paw*

The royal army and the baroque workers heard a battle cry! the two sides slowly stop for a minute to see where the loud cry come from. there they can see a boy with his cape, they had overlooked this guy and severely underestimated him. that boy was bound to encounter an outlaw and be slashed. too bad it didn't happen, in fact, they felt the outlaw was so pitiful.

It was stunning to see a boy and his fist was still connected to his enemy's broken face. He felt all their stares and started to stand up. His enemy's blood was dripping from his fist, he turned around and faced the royal army who's retreating from the baroque works.

"Men of Alabasta! Listen!" (???)

The two sides had a different reaction when they heard the boy, The royal army perked up and was focusing on the boy but some are using this time to retreat. As for the outlaws, they tilted their heads wondering what this boy will say or do... some of them are amused by this.

"For generations, This kingdom had stood tall ever since the beginning... the country you lived in... was in peace not too long ago. But now! the kingdom is now on its knees waiting for destruction." (???)

The royal soldiers have a look of shame on their faces, while the Millions were having a blast.

"Why? Why is this happening? That is what all of you are thinking... Oh, Alabasta soldiers! the reason is this! These scum people who are destroying and looting the houses of your fellow citizen!" (???)

The boy pointed towards the outlaws and his cape had open up dramatically. The baroque workers had enough of this farce and charges at him. Looking nonchalant the boy continued his speech. Worried for the boy, they almost warned him but the royal army saw the outlaws were stopped at approaching the boy.

A blast of flame appeared on the right side while machine-gun-like bullets had prevented the baroque works to approach the left side, and at the middle was a bunch of animals that had appeared and was protecting the boy.

A monkey, a green lizard that is bipedal, a sea dugong, and lastly a news coo.

"But these guys aren't the real reason, You're very own princess had discovered this fact alone by herself with no one helping her... Vivi had prevented the worst case possible for the kingdom, It is the clash between your fellow countrymen!" (???)

Koby's firm voice reverberated towards every single royal soldier. Of course, they knew that a civil war would likely happen when the others deserted the army and join the rebels. they also have seen the part where the guardians of the alabasta had done to the spies.

"Right now, Vivi and the rebels are fighting the enemies!.. uh... What are you gonna do now?! is it because Chaka-san had been injured, that you all are in chaos? Just remember these words of mine." (Koby)

"Royal ARMY! The one who is supporting this country is not the guardians! IT IS YOU, People of Alabasta!.." (Koby)

The soldiers have been showing their shame with their expression had stopped. they looked straight and saw the sincere face of the boy

"well, Just don't lose against the rebels at the other place. I am KOBY! a straw hat crewmember. My crew is helping Vivi... That's why don't worry about Vivi and focus on defending your country!" (Koby)

*swoosh* + *A moment of silence*

"... What did you say?!!" (royal soldier 1)

"How can we lose to the rebels?!! We are the ROYAL ARMY!" (royal soldier 2)

"Oh! Vivi-sama, We are very thankful you're alive! By the way, Where is she, boy?" (Mob that was close to Koby)

During his speech, Koby kept on looking into the eyes of the royal army, There is no more retreating from the battlefield, Their eyes had regained confidence and compassion. Their princess had done plenty enough, it is their turn to protect her. it's not that they want to lose to the rebel army.

The Baroque workers had long tried to disrupt Koby but faced the terrifying might of these animals, Some of them had slipped past and attacked the soldiers.

They can feel the change. it is not like before where they can overpower them with fierce and reckless force, The outlaws could feel the determination to stop them from destroying the town.

Now, the ones who are already charging are the soldiers. Faced with the intensity of these soldiers, it was their turn to panic. and they can see the boy starting to turn towards them and continued talking. they knew that they can't let the boy talk and they charge fiercely to stop him.

'WHY IS HE NOT DONE YET?' (Every Baroque worker thought)

"Everyone! Leave the rest of the real mastermind to us! Our captain will deal with him! As for the one who defeated Chaka-san, Our Vice-captain will take revenge for him! Don't worry about getting hurt, Our Doctor will treat you all! He's good and cute!... koff."

Speaking with so much gusto, Koby's throat hurt, and he can't help but cough. But he's still determined to finish this already. he can't let these outlaws think they won.

"... koff... Vivi is safe.. she's with our sniper and navigator! ROYAL ARMY! FIGHT BACK! FOR VIVI'S SAKE! FOR ALABASTA!" (Koby)

All who doesn't have an enemy to fight raised their swords to the sky and cheered. as for those who are fighting, it's a pity for the Baroque works since the morale of their is getting higher the more fight goes on.

"LET'S GO!.. Ei!.. Ei!.." (Koby)

Raising his fist upwards and looking at his newly added red ring in his gloves, Koby let his aura flow towards the ring, His aura's color changed color from a blue one to a fiery red. even his diamond gloves started to change color and let out a fire shooting towards the outlaws.

"OOOOOOH!" (all the mobs aside the outlaws)

The sound of cheering echoed throughout the entire plains. The sound coming out from their lungs came together and resonated powerfully. After seeing the performance by the boy, All hell had been unleashed towards the baroque works.

Koby stood at his spot and was looking at his new equipment. It is a fire gem ring and his newly purchased cape. Looking at his style, you could see the silhouette of a certain mafia boss who controls fire with his gloves. But Koby doesn't have the flame on his head.

He can't help but think about when they were traveling towards the capital.

◇A few hours ago, In the Sahara river◇

Yellow Ptero had been flying atop of the river. At the back of the dinosaur, four people were resting.

Zoro is sitting crosslegged with his eyes closed, he was simulating the battles they had done throughout the entire journey. he was also preparing to sharpen his mentally for the battle that is about to come.

meanwhile, his other Nakama was already in a serious discussion. Koby had been telling Luffy about Crocodile's weakness many times already. Nami even backs up Koby's logic on the weakness of Crocodile. But all they got was a "Mysterious Sand" from Luffy.

"Uh... just dip on the water first then fight Crocodile okay?.. phew." (Koby)

Koby's bag was larger than what it looks like, He had taken out the money Luffy won and a small barrel for his captain.

"Huh?.. why are you taking out my money?" (Nami)

"eh... Our money you know!.. geez, I was the one who sponsored Luffy a while ago so it should be mine and Luffy's. What do you want to buy Cap?" (Koby)

"Oh? Me? I want MEAT! MANY MEAT!" (Luffy)

"Koby! That's mine!" (Nami)

"Damn it Nami, You also won many times at the casino right?.. you have enough already." (Koby)

"Kuh... I didn't think you saw that! In any case, why are you bringing up the money now?" (Nami)

Koby took out his Pokédex from his bag. Luffy and Nami were already grouping up and were watching him closely. Koby went to his Pokéshop, there was plenty of things he wants to buy. Especially for this kind of villain, they're about to fight. He needed a way to have a recorder and communication instead of using a den den mushi.

'Man... After everything is over, I need to do some shopping. I hope Vivi's father will reward me for finding that poneglyph... yup, me heeheehee' (Koby)

after scrolling for some time, the two onlookers are starting to get impatient especially the rubber man. it didn't take long for them to be surprised. he started buying all he needed in the future.

A cape appeared in the bag after putting some money inside it, Koby took it out and majestically equip it.

"Awesomeee! wheres mine?!" (Luffy)

"Uh... I can't believe you wasted my money on that shabby cloak!"

"..." (Koby)

Koby sweatdropped and got tongue-tied. He didn't know what to do about Luffy but gave him the pokédex after buying the fire gem ring. he was so invested in it and didn't think much of how much is it. he turned to deaf ear to Nami's nagging.

He was getting ready to equip the ring when suddenly!

"Is this broken Koby. why is it I can only pick one? does this thing have meat?" (Luffy)

'Huh?! there's an option for them?!!' (Koby)

Koby rushed past and look at the pokédex on Luffy's hand. Nami was looking too, they saw that in the list of the pokéshop, There's only one option to click.
