5 Roommates

You awed at the sight of level 10. It was huge! 100 miles tall? No kidding! There were walkways along the walls, some of which led to ladders. Those ladders led to an upper floor which then led to someone's quarters. The rest of the floor was a grid of water and concrete platforms where divers would rest.

Giant lights were hanging off the ceilings. Level 10 was, oddly enough, extraordinary looking.

"Ok, everyone. Your room is on the 17th floor I believe!"

Your POV: 17th?! I mean I should've figured but still! That's a long way up. How were we expected to get to the platforms in time?

Andy led you all to a ladder, climbed that. Walked to another ladder, climbed that. This process went on 17 times until you were all practically panting.

"Ok, here it is everybody! Floor 17, room 34103. Andy exclaimed.

The room's walls, floor, and ceiling were all made of smoothed-out concrete. The room had 3 bunk beds in the center of the room for the 6 of you.

"Soooo who wants top bunk?" Emma asked.

"NOT IT!" You squeaked. "I want to bottom," said Jackson. "I and Lilly will take the top bunk then!" said Emma. "I don't really care where I sleep," a boy you didn't know said. Summer gave him a weird look. "Well ill have you know I'm taking bottom." she paused and threw her suitcase on the bed. "You took the middle bed, having summer and Jackson at both your sides. Emma is bunking with you, the other boy is bunking with Jackson, and Lilly is bunking with summer.

"So….. Andy does this mean you'll be watching us sleep?" asked Lily. "I'm afraid not! I wish I could, but around 1 am must leave to charge on a different platform," said Andy.

We all looked at each other as of to make a silent agreement.

"Well I advise you all to unpack and settle in," Andy said. For some reason, her eyes said something different to you. They held anger, yet they could break down in tears at any given moment.

Your POV: I must be going insane, Andy is a droid or an android at most.

You decided to take Andy's advice and unpack, you spread your bed sheet on your bed, put your clothes and the water in a drawer under your bed.

Your POV: It's 8:30 already?

You sighed. "Hey, guys I think I'm gonna sleep." You said. Emma stretched. "Yea I think I will too." And with that, you went to bed, but you couldn't help feeling someone's eyes on you... Andys? No, she went to get the electricity working in your room. You shrugged it off.

"Everyone wake up! Today your first day of training, best not be late!" Shouted Andy. "UHHHH we're up." Emma groaned.

You got dressed in a white tunic and a pair of jeans. You looked over to see Jackson still asleep. You rolled your eyes, "Jacksoooon." You wined. "Wake uuuuuup" He rolled his back towards you in response. You sighed. "Well, you asked for this." You mumbled. You then grabbed your water bottle from your drawer, opened it up, and poured some of it down Jackson's shirt. He Yelped and flinched so hard he fell off the bed. "You little rat." He mumbled. While you were a laughing mess he practically tackled your legs causing you to fall on him, shutting you up. "How dare you." You mocked. He then flipped you over to where he is on top of you. Then he embraced you into a hug getting you soaked. You gasped due to the cold. "Jacksoooooon you suuuuuck." You wined.

"What are you 2 doing? " You heard Summer ask. She then grabbed both of your arms and dragged you away from Jackson. "God, your such a child." You rolled your eyes. "Whatever."
