1 Prelude

In the year 2700 CE, the Atenthonian gods and goddesses, after the population of Earth descended into turmoil and discord, labeled the Earth as a Lost Cause. Her inhabitants were now on their own, which worked out fine for a few hundred years until a group of Airnys's vampires broke away and claimed the now-forsaken Earth as their own. All of the creatures that were living on her green lands quickly became submissive to the new vampires. Briefly, Airnys, King of the Underworld, thought there would be hope for the water-covered rock until Earth Year 3067 CE when the vampires turned against their king. No longer guiding over her, Earth's population was genetically weeded out, now consisting of vampires in control of their own destiny, and the mortal humans as second-class citizens. You either obtain favor in the eyes of the vampiric overlords in some form or fashion, allowing the to live under them on the totem, or as a pet or slave. Slaves are chosen by the lord and lady, while the rest are sold in shops as pets. One day, the vampire Magna, a decently-freespirited body, went to the petshop in his city and found Jayda, abused from 15 years of torture. She'd have to die by age 35, as is the rule for all pets. From the getgo, Magna knew something was off about her. He had heard legends of gods and goddesses that would rule over the whole universe, the Earth herself included, and how a few used the original inhabitants to gift the mortal realm with their presence and give the Atenthonians offspring of their own. One such situation by Screeu, the Atenthonian goddess of knowledge, longed for a son, allowing the creation of who would become Alexander Ruslanovich, better known as Sasha, to a Soviet family living in America, trying desperately to erase all traces of Russian from them. Anyone in Sasha's family line was to be killed when the vampires completely took over in 3067 CE. They thought that his line of descendants was gone by the year 3940 CE, but they were wrong. Now, in the year 6066 CE, one descendant remains, the scarlett letter over her head, no matter how well she concealed it. By being labeled O-positive in the auction room, she was able to get some kind of salvation from her fate. However, she had the rarest of the rare blood types: Rh-null. Seeing what was most likely deficiencies in her, Magna decided to go for it with her. Narrow green eyes, hair that was so dark of a shade of brown that it verged on black, save for a few spots that had, naturally, no color, and "rebellious". Buying her, originally as a blood bag for a few weeks, she got his attention one day with ancient texts. Curious, Magna allowed Jayda to do what she had been wanting to do after her first bite by him. What unfolded would forever change the way they saw each other, as well as their perception of who and what Jayda truly was.
