41 Tale of Tabitha

The next day Alex went to see Tabitha at the dojo. She saw her meditating in the middle of the training grounds looking very peaceful and didn't want to disturb her so Alex walked around the dojo looking around to see if anything exciting is there which there really weren't much just a few old pictures statues mats and old training equipment. After looking around some more seeing some really old pictures of a woman who looks exactly like Tabitha training with a lot of older people.

"That was a long time ago." Tabitha

"Well yeah I can tell... you look exactly like her." Alex

"Well that's because she is me." Tabitha

"But this photo is ancient." Alex

"Ah yes yes it is but I am much older than that picture young child whom has a similar but more potent curse/blessing put upon you." Tabitha

"Huh? What do you mean?" Alex

"You also have some form of eternal youth like I have but you just awakened it so young too that's sad." Tabitha

"Wait you're immortal?" Alex

"No I just have eternal youth I can die really easily hence why I trained so hard all my life." Tabitha

"How old are you anyway?" Alex

"Hm... I was born slightly after Gilgamesh perished I don't remember exactly when but the world was always such a shitty place back then... my parents weren't good parents and I was sold at a young age to slavers. I luckily got taken in by a very well off woman and she taught me many things especially to never trust anyone... I followed her teaching for a long time until I turned 28 and she turned around and stabbed me straight through my uterus with poison and told me my children will just betray me like hers did then she said sorry and just died there... I learned everything from her magic to killing and I thought she killed me but no she just made me barren and always 28 which was pretty old during those times I got diagnostic magic on me immediately and knew I was going to stay 28 forever. At first I was happy and mad but I didn't understand how hard it was for her she was immortal but I'm just eternally 28 her only way of freedom was to pass on her knowledge and youth then using a spell to reincarnate into my now dead womb... I lived in solitude for a few years to master my training and to find something to do with my time... Years go by and I make friends allies and adopted some children I stared to see them age while I stayed the same and I finally understood what my master actually apologized for... I thought of killing myself but I couldn't bring myself to do it so I traveled everywhere kingdoms rose and fell friends and family betrayed me I started to go around training strangers to become amazing I never taught them a style just a way of life and how to train some became hero's other villains... I encountered gods and demigods try to stay away from them they are all ass holes so far... I ended up here when George Washington wanted to migrate here I wasn't a big fan of the idea but I was becoming to well known over seas after a few years I really hated what they were doing to the people here so I left at the time it wasn't a big deal I thought they would give up and go back to Britain but I was wrong and I felt bad for leaving the natives at that time later down the line I revisited and everything was fucked from natives to the pilgrims and the British slowly things went bad to really bad to worse to okay to desperate and finally now." Tabitha

"Then what are you to my family?" Alex

"Well one day I found a man I fell in love with he was not really anything special but something made me need to be near him that's your great grandfather see... we both couldn't have children and he was just impotent so we dated had a ton of fun and wanted a family of our own so we found an annoying little brat we thought we taught manners to trained him and raised him up as our own... and that is your grandfather." Tabitha

"Can't you just make him stop my arranged marriage then?" Alex

"My husband didn't want to interfere with the family choices too much because even though we treat them like family we weren't actually related and he didn't want to enforce our stance of life on them and I agree but it still bothers me about the whole arranged marriage stuff so I gave you a way out I hope you take over the family eventually." Tabitha

"I'm not really planning on that." Alex

"Well your father should take over instead actually considering you'll look like that forever and once my husband dies I'm leaving once again." Tabitha

"What about our family?" Alex

"I only really care about my husband, your dad, you, and maybe your sister. Our "son" is a real piece of work and we have no idea why he turned out that way and it goes through the family except your side." Tabitha

"Oh well I see you as family as well and I guess we both have eternity to talk and train now." Alex

"How'd you even become like this?" Tabitha

"I almost got killed." Alex

"Wait what? How?" Tabitha
