Long ago in a world far from earth called Utadi, lays a land called Ignicor. It's a civilized land filled with castles and villages, travelers and traders.

But there's more: the filthy castles are accompanied by knights and sorcerers, and far from those castles are the so-called "Badlands" where the witches were cast to in the great purge. but, that is a story for another time.

We start there, in the badlands. Where an ugly old hag resides. One night she went out to pluck berries for god knows what. She took her lantern and an old sack where she would put the berries in. The hag then left her home and entered the forest in front of her house, little did she know that she was followed. the trees were not that dense but, she couldn't see anything far away, also it was very dark.

As she crouched down to grab a berry from a bush, she heard noises coming from the bushes surrounding her. Some wolves were tracking her down, and the noise changed into howling! The woman tried running but it didn't take long for the wolves to jump at her. she fell to the ground as one of the seven wolves surrounding her jumped on her.

The dirty lady couldn't do anything as the wolf had already bitten her throat, killing her. The hound grabbed her left foot with his teeth and dragged her lifeless body to a nearby cave, where she soon would be eaten. Why the wolves never attacked earlier is unsure, perhaps she never went outside in the dark, or...

Approximately three hundred years later at the age of seven hundred eighty-nine. At the castle and village called Freca. Some ruckus was going on, Someone's barrels got destroyed by a woman that fell right on top of them as if she fell from the sky!

She had just woken up and saw a blurry image of an annoyed trader yelling at her. The most disturbing part is: she doesn't remember anything that has ever happened to her, no name no memories only that she can speak, and move her body around as well as some other important things.

she stood up and went up to the man that was screaming at her. The girl said:' excuse me, but do you know who I am?' The man looked at her silly, he spews:' Who do you think you are crashing in my storage like this and then asking me where you are!?'

The mysterious girl the answers:' I have no idea who I am, I do know that my eyes and ears hurt a little.'

The seller looked confused and took her without any hesitation to a doctor. Before she went to see the doctor the man entered the doctor's office and told the unknown woman to wait there for a short time. In the waiting room, there was a mirror standing there. The woman looked into the mirror and saw herself standing there. A girl with a length of about 1.78 centimeters. a small nose and ears. her hair was in a ponytail and was the color of light brown. she wore ragged clothing supporting the color of beige.

She stood there for quite some time actually, looking at her own body from every angle, she noticed that she had big breasts and that the man at the marketplace didn't have that, more like a big stomach.

she turned her head to the left and saw some paper hanging on the wall, or as we know it a poster. It said something about knight training and also a location. The girl grabbed the poster and left the building. She walked up to a couple taking a walk and asked them to point in that direction. at the location, there were three men standing there with shining iron armor as well as three other men standing in some mud and hitting a decoy with a club.

She walked up to the men and asked:' Is this the location of the so-called knight training?' as she showed the men the poster. They burst out laughing and say:' do you, a woman, want to take knight training!?' They start to laugh even harder. one of them says:'perhaps we could use a shieldmaiden!' The men started falling to the ground laughing and the girl being enraged started to walk away.

She went to the big gate and walked out of the city while some guards asked her:' madame, where do you think you are going?' But the girl didn't hear them over her anger.

She went on to walk inside of a deep, big, and dense forest as it was about to become nighttime. It didn't take long for her to be able to see absolutely nothing. The only thing she could sense was hearing, she walked around for ages and got quite hungry. She became dizzy but she started to see something. A light! right in front of her, she started running towards it and when she got there, well it wasn't very calming.

a wolf stood there, but not a normal wolf, it wasn't an organism. it looked like running water and it had red eyes. It started sniffing and perceived the girl standing there. She doesn't know what it is but also she senses that it is nothing good. The hound started chasing her as she went running away, but it caught up in no time and the girl got jumped by the beast.

She kicked its head and it started to misform before returning back to its original state. She stood up and two big dark green orbs were appearing in front of her and two of the same dark green wolves jumped out. She panicked and walked Into one of those holes.

She stood there in another plane where there were countless of red eyes looking at her. She got cast out and collapsed into a short coma. the last thing she heard was feet approaching.

She woke up from the coma the next day lying inside a tower. A man sitting there said:' you put up quite a fight back there.' The girl stood up instantly and she grabbed something to defend herself.

The man calmed her down and told her everything that happened. he told that his name was Jeice and that he was the grandmaster of the knights from this castle. he told her what happened that night and that she got saved by him and two guards, the guards that stood at the gate alerted him.

He asked her for her name and she replied: 'my name...' she remembered something from when she was in that other plane: she heard the words Olympia being whispered. so she replied to the knight:' My name is Olympia!' In a joyful voice.

After she told her name, the grandmaster told her that he wanted to let her join the knights and she replied:' I want to become the strongest shieldmaiden this planet has ever seen!'

And so she joined the protocol and her quest to become the strongest shieldmaiden had begun. Olympia also became close friends with the guards that rescued her.
