1 Prelude

On the top floor, in a large empty apartment, a cloaked figure stands looking out at the city and streets below. Rain pounds the window and thunder and lightning dominate the skies.

Behind the cloaked figure, stood at attention, a gaunt man. His suit jacket all buttoned up, tie tied tightly and his hair neatly combed over. He watches, waiting for an order from his master.

"How long is he going to be?" The cloaked figure asked in a cold voice.

"Patience. He'll be here soon." The gaunt man replied in a sharp tone.

"You said that 2 hours ago."

"Be patient, Master. You know he is not in your employ for being on time."

"Was that an order, Minn?" The cloaked figure's head said slowly as their head turned slightly to Minn.

Minn gulped, as he became nervous and scared at his Masters words.

Suddenly a 'Bing' echoed around the apartment. Doors at the far end of the appartment slide open. A man, as gaunt as Minn steps out of the elevator and walks towards the cloaked figure.

"Hey, Boss." The gaunt man says in a gruffled voice.

His hair was messy, his suit jacket open and tie slightly loose at the top. A trail of tobacco smoke trailed behind him from his lit cigarette.

"Ginn! What took so long?" Minn barked.

"Nice to see you as well, brother." Ginn waved lazily at his brother. In the light, you can tell that not only are they brothers, but twins. "Traffic was a bitch."

He stopped a few feet away from the cloaked figure and took a drag of his cigarette and blew the smoke in Minn's face. Minn coughed and choked on the smoke.

"Well? *cough cough* Is it done?" Minn asked.

"It is." Ginn smirked at Minn, as their sharp pale blue eyes met.

"Good." The cloaked figure spoke, still looking out the window.

"It should be arriving shortly within the hour. I have arranged for one of the Clans to complete the operation. We shouldn't have any problems." Ginn reported.

"Very well. Your role is over in this matter. Please provide Minn with the detail of operation going forward, Ginn."

Ginn was surprised by his masters response. "Urgh, but boss...I have been planning this grab for months now. I would be the best to..."

"Enough." The cloaked figure raises their hand, silencing Ginn. "Now go." The cloaked figure waved Ginn off.

Ginn glanced at the Minn with a piercing glare. Minn merely stood and smiled.

"As you please, Boss." He says as he walks away to the elevator.

The cloaked figure places his finger tips against the window. "Soon, this world will be ready for you..."
