3 Chapter 14 : Unbreakable Words
Knight in 29 years old is at the top of the Apax University's while silently reading books and typing some of his ideas to his flexible rubber-made holographic 4 by 4 inches netbook. He is currently sitting and all of the papers are placed into the glass type of round table. He is also alone during that time while strange Electricity suddenly appeared with a strange sound, followed by an appearance John wearing his time guard's suite.
Knight wears his eye glasses to look closely as John in 29 years old walks besides him. He stands and just looks bravely at him. John smiled and him and starts to talk in a good manner.
"I am here not to fight anymore…" John said with a friendly voice.
"I think I'm here to talk in man-to-man way." John even added as they walk near the side of the building.
"So what do you want to say now?" Knight silently asked.
"You are taller than me but I'm more handsome and muscular." He said while looking to him.
"I am here to apologize for hitting you in an improper way. We Marsian are not actually rude. I just do that because I can't take it anymore. I love Lyrids until now and I traveled to your time to change her feelings for you but I repeated failed to do that. Forgive me … You are a really a better man than me." John seriously said.
"So you give up on her?" Knight asked with a manly smile.
"I already give up on her... In my time I had nothing to do but to cry while she's marrying the one that she loves at this age of 29." John responded with a smile.
"But why you still go in my time?" Knight questioned.
"I just thought that I could change other John's time and could make Lyrids think that she loves me too." John sadly said.
"Can you give this sealed letter to Lyrids?" John said while giving it to him.
"What do you want to happen?" Knight asked without getting it.
"It's fine if you give it to her or not and it's also fine if you read or not. I trust Mr. Knight because Lyrids in my time often tell us that he is a loyal person who respects all people around him."John said with a convincing voice as Knight takes it.
"I forgive you … Don't do this again in my present time …" Knight seriously said.
"I will and also the young John in your time will never serve any harm." John replied as he moves away and jumps into the building and disappeared with flashing electricity.
It was a couple of weeks when Lyrids decides to appear again. Knight,her , and Teddy which is not hiding anymore are all in the near lake .They sits in checkered blanket. Lyrids is silently reading Knight's complete journal about her. Knight is however looking happily into the lake while feeling the cool breeze of the wind into his skin. It waves his hair and also the green grasses that surrounds them. The sun is also starting to shine with no hurtful heat.
At the end of the page, Lyrids saw the words saying, "I just wish she knew, I was so in love with her". She smiled to Knight upon seeing and Knight too smiled back with a feeling of affection through his face.
"Knight, I love you too." She sweetly said while closing the journal.
Knight is very happy so he starts singing song entitled "What a Wonderful World". Lyrids joins him too in singing. The voices of them sound like love. The environment amazingly can feel it.
I see trees of green … red roses too…
I see them blue … for me and you …
So I think to myself … what a wonderful world …
The color of the rainbow so beauty in the sky…
Are all in the faces … of people passing by …?
I see friends shaking hands … saying… how do you do?
They are really saying … I love you…
I see baby cry … I watch them grow…
They will learn more than I have ever known …
And I think to myse-eeelf …
What a wonderful world …
When they finish the song, Knight looked seriously to Lyrids' happy face. He looks directly into her pink lips and grabbed her chin in a most gentle way. So as he slowly moves closer to her face, Lyrids quickly covers his lips, because she knows that he's going to kiss her.
"For now, no…" Lyrids silently said while covering Knight's lips.
"It scares me…" She shyly said with a sweet smile after removing her hand and then turning her face to other position.
Knight didn't say anything and just smiled back and told her to look for a four leaf clover besides the lake. She followed him without complaining. Teddy apologized for Lyrids improper manner and also warns him to not command Lyrids to do anything because he noticed that Marsian's easily lose temper in simple things. In addition, Lyrids don't want to feel that she's taken for granted. So he must treat her properly.
As Lyrids finally saw a four leaf clover, she sits besides Knight and Teddy stops talking. Knight shows the book entitled "Heaven is Real" and opened it at the middle part to put the four leaf clover and make a wish. Lyrids smiled at him upon seeing the book that she once said to him. He told her that he finally found it and he strongly believe that God makes them connected.
Lyrids finally realized the strange connection that she feels in the first time she saw Knight. It was something like a unreliable electric wire. As she remembers the time she saw the book which is 4 years before, the four leaf clover was still there. So she asked Knight about his wish.
"What do you wish?" she asked with a smile.
"I wish to see the real Lyrids in my time." Knight said.
"You will see her for real. She's currently living peacefully at the planet Mars." Lyrids silently said.
Knight became very happy so he sweetly hugs her with lots of love with his eyes close and head at the back of her head. Lyrids didn't complain anymore and just happily smiled with a feeling of love. Teddy looks at them and said something.
"It's the most angelic and innocent hug that I have ever seen." He happily said.
For many different time of Knight, Lyrids appeared and used the time wisely. The two (Lyrids and Knight) often enjoys happy moments together and never feel sadness until Teddy , time machine of Lyrids, decides to talk to Knight because he is now going to reach the 4 percent remaining of his battery.
"Master … I want you to create me … You should now start creating me before you meet her in your time… In Lyrids' time, you created me due to your extreme love… I hope that you too in your time will create me for her to fall in love to you and for you to love her… Used your journal as my memory and in addition make me an amazing robot which can think with real human emotions… After 4 years you will finally meet the real Lyrids… You might be disappointed because she's as old as the Lyrids now. I guess age doesn't matter because it's just a number. Am I right? We will no longer stay here … I am glad to meet and help my young Master through time… He sees the shades of black and white and knows right and wrong in reality. He is so mature and as brave as a dinosaur. I am proud of him and love him as my friend of all time…" Teddy said in a slowly and friendly voice as Knight seriously listened to him with all his heart.
It is winter and snows all around them are too thick .It is falling softly to their skins while they are outside the house. Knight is putting away the snows in Lyrids' winter coat and fixing it properly. He even puts her winter cap at her head after fixing the position of her short hair. Lyrids' appearance is now as same as her appearance when she starts traveling in his time. They are both smiling to each other as Knight prepares her looks.
"I once told him to not act like an old person because it might irritate Lyrids but he continues his way of caring to her like a baby."Teddy whispered to himself as he looks to them while Knight keeps on doing that to her.
"Do I now look good?" She happily asked Knight.
"You're clothes finally fits the climate…" Knight jokes with a smile while touching the collar.
"I guess you're right."She said without getting angry.
"You speak so mature…" He happily said.
"Knight's time makes me mature…" She happily said.
"Take this and read if you want." He gives the letter of John.
"...but why?" She asked upon seeing that the letter was from John.
"I promised to give this to you and don't try to open." He happily said.
"I know that even if you read something strange from that I can always trust you." He even added.
"Thank you for the trust." She sweetly said.
Knight hugs her and sweetly put his head near her left ears where he whispered the word, "I love you". Lyrids felt so happy and can feel that she was loved wholly.
"I love you, Master!" Teddy shouts as they moved away to Knight and prepares to travel
"God, love is weird…This man brought me nearer to you and you brought him nearer to me… Thank you …"Lyrids silently said to God as they disappeared with the fog.
