1 Chapter 1, Prologue

The walls of the cell were bare and the white washed paint peeling off. A narrow-barred window placed so high that one could not reach it. The guards half asleep standing behind the heavy metal gate. Inside of the small cell, a handsome young man, grey-eyed with an athletic and slender figure was seated on a small chair, an inmate, reading a book titled "Harry Potter and the philosopher stone".

The inmate, was a french man going by the name of Niles Avery, a 26-year-old serial-killer convict for five counts of murder, torture, r*pe, theft and suspected of being the ring leader of the most prominent human trafficking network. In other words, he was the incarnation of evil. He toyed with people, with his victims, with his playthings the young man didn't even consider people human, in his view, they were all sheep, animals meant to be eaten. He was sentenced to life in prison, the young man who was a diagnosed with psychopathy had no remorse whatsoever, he tortured his victims as much as he could, the autopsies even showed that his victims were alive during his vile acts.

The psychologists and doctors who examined him thought that the man's mind was destroyed, eaten by his thoughts, by one though, to be King, to dominate over others, like a parasite infecting its host. But that could not be farthest from the truth, behind the façade of a mad man, Niles was laughing, laughing at the trained medical practitioners, who he was toying with, like a child on Christmas. Making them believe every word he says, every action he takes is become of some psychological disorder instead of his own will. No, he wanted this, in his view, there is beauty in watching the world being set on fire and standing in the middle of the flames.

But the most bizarre thing about Niles, was not his mind but the fact that he was a complete mystery to the law enforcement. They had no records of him, no real records of him at least, not even his name, so the "Niles Avery" was probably a fake name. And every time they interrogated him; he gave a different story. It was nigh impossible to figure out who the man was. One could almost say he was a Wizard.

But one day, something unexpected happened, Niles Avery, the most hated criminal of France, was declared dead. But the most peculiar thing was, they did not find his body anywhere, they searched and investigated his cell, his previous warehouses, his lavish mansions and ships. Nothing, not even a single trace of his existence, it was like he vanished into thin air. But they did find one thing, a book lying on the floor of his cell, titled "Harry Potter and the philosophers stone". And so, he was declared dead due to a heart failure to the public, even though his body was never recovered.

--

Earlier that day.

--

Niles leaned back on his old chair, making it squeak in his cell. The young man was reading a book, when suddenly his vision started getting distorted. The words on the pages started disappearing, a soft hum seemingly from nowhere started whispering in his ears. Time itself felt as if it slowed down. He didn't understand what was happening. He felt like he was losing his grasp on reality, like his life was crumbling away. The world around him became a sea of black clouds engulfing all light. The squeaks of the chair and the tics of the clocks stopped. The ruff feeling of paper in his hand disappeared. Niles fell from his chair, paralyzed, as he talked to himself, with a weak voice.

"What… the hell?"

"I can't fell anything."

"Am I dying…?"

"I feel…"

"Cold…"

"No… I can't go like this…"

"I WON'T!"

"I… won't…"

As Niles was about to close his eyes, the book laying beneath him suddenly glowed a golden red. Creating a shock wave in the air with a visible ripple effect. And as the last thing Niles saw was the light, the young man disappeared, as if he was sucked into the book without leaving a trace behind.

---

Somewhere else.

----

Niles awoke with a sudden "WAKE UP, OR YOU'LL BE LATE FOR THE TRAIN!" to his face. Niles opened his eyes shook from what he heard, and proceeded to look at his surroundings in a confused manner.

He was in a bedroom, a boy's bedroom to be precise. With an angry emerald-eyed woman, with posh hair twirling around her shoulders looking straight at him from the doorway.

"What?" Niles muttered confused.

"GET READY YOU LEAVE IN AN HOUR!" shouted the woman.

"Who… are you?" Niles asked with a confused expression.

"YOU'RE MOTHER THAT'S WHO YOU DIMWIT!?" continued the woman with an even more angry expression than before.

"What?" Niles questioned.

"GET READY YOU DIMWIT, THE TRAIN LEAVES AT 9 O'CLOCK." Said the woman with an annoyed voice.

"…" Niles did not respond to her.

"GET. A. MOVE. ON. NOW." Was the last responds the woman gave as she walked away from the room.

Niles stared at his hands, laying on his laps, confused.

"What the f*ck?" Niles muttered to himself.

The young man lifted his eyes from his small hands and observed his surroundings. He was currently laid in a soft blue coloured bed, in the middle of a huge room. The walls were painted a dark shade of blue, matching the bed. And every element composing the room was clearly expensive. Niles could see an expensive looking wardrobe filled with cloths and a mirror next to it.

Wanting to investigate where he was, Niles got up from the bed and searched the room. The young man froze when he saw himself onto the mirror, he was a child not a 26-year-old man anymore. He was a brown-eyed boy with golden hair, standing at 5ft4 and had prominent cheek bones with a slender figure. Niles lifted his hands to his face and exclaimed. "I'm a f*cking Lannister now."

After examining every inch of his body and pinching himself making sure he wasn't dreaming, Niles felt a sudden rush of emotions, hitting him like a tsunami. The emotions were in fact memories. These memories were of his time growing up, but those weren't his memories, Niles never learned to fly on a broom at five years old. No, these memories and emotions were those of his new body. Niles could feel anger and hatred, emotions he never felt in his past. Niles emotions were always a calm and vast ocean, not a rush of dopamine by childish emotions.

The young boy sat back down onto the bed, reliving all his new memories. And as it turns out, this body was also named Niles Avery and was part of a pure-blood aristocrat wizarding family. And today was supposed to be the day that the owner of the body attained Hogwarts, a magical school for wizards.

After searching the memories, Niles concluded a few things, first the obvious one, he took over the body of the boy. Second, the boy was from the Harry Potter Universe.

Third, the boy was apparently also very, very good in magic, being a descended of a great House really gave him a bonus. Niles could feel his magical core leaking out magic energy almost as if he had a surplus of magic. Niles looked at himself onto the mirror and thought with an evil smirk "You're a Wizard, Niles."

After some more admiration and thoughts, Niles got dressed in cloths he found in the wardrobe and walked out of the room, he wore a simple blue T-shirt and black Jeans, even though his cloths were designer.

While making his way through the immense halls Niles froze a few times, seeing painting moving and talking was surprising. After learning the memories of the previous Niles, he learned that he was part of the Avery Family which was a wizarding House, from what he learned the house started in France and then moved to Britain, where thanks to his ancestors the Avery family also had a lot of control over the muggle world, something other families did not have.

After roaming around the halls, Niles found a dining room with breakfast waiting for him, and a family. Niles walked into the dining room and sat down to an empty seat, trying not to look suspicious Niles adopted a calm and aristocratic demeanor, not knowing anyone named Avery in the books, he thought a Malfoy act was better.

As he sat down, Niles carefully observed both of his parents, his father looked the same as in the memories, he had a calm demeanor and had brown eyes with slick backed golden hair, similar to his own. Niles was impressed by the height of his father, standing at 6ft8 with broad shoulders, he really looked like a Jaime Lannister.

His mother on the other hand, looked nothing like him, she had long curly black hair with emerald colored eyes and a mature body, making her look like the perfect model for any magazine. His eight year old sister took a lot from her mother, with black posh hair and emerald eyes, to be honest people wouldn't be able to tell if Niles and his sister were related or not.

Sitting down to the table, the members of his family were shook. The Niles of before, was a bit of an airhead and energetic, with basically no manners whatsoever and suddenly today, Niles exuded an intense demeanor of dominance and acted like a noble out of nowhere. They did not say anything about it, and his father even seemed a little proud.

Not sure on how to handle the situation, Niles made some small talk about Hogwarts mostly which houses, and lessons were the best. The boy's family was confused at Niles, since he didn't act, talk nor think like he use too. The new Niles was a much more refined Niles, with manners and an noble demeanor. The thing that confused his family even more was, Niles didn't know anything about what he needed to pack for Hogwarts, thankfully the house elves already did the packing.

"So, how do I get to Hogwarts?" asked the boy.

"You'll go by train, I'll go with you to the platform." Answered his father confused at the boy.

"Alright" said Niles with a stern expression.

After an awkward silence during breakfast and finishing packing everything he needed. Niles made his goodbyes to his new family and left with his father to Kings Cross and then made their way to the famous platform 9 ¾. Niles was still a little dazed about everything, he was a convict not long ago and now he was in the Harry Potter universe in 1991, a.k.a during Harry Potter's first year.

On their way to the platform, Niles asked his newfound father what his family did as jobs. His father was the Director of the Magical Security for France and his mother worked with Dragons. Surprisingly, the Avery family did also have a special bloodline, called Thu'm, an ancient language of dragons from what his father told him, most modern spells are said in Latin, or Arabic and for some even in Parseltongue but the Thu'm are shouts in the language of dragons which made spells much more powerful and gave the user very powerful magical cores. "And now it's f*cking Skyrim", Niles thought.

[A/N: I'm giving him a boost otherwise there isn't anyway he would even come close to Dumbledore or Voldemort, since I will be making them stronger than original]

Only accomplished wizards had strong magical cores, such as Dumbledore, Voldemort, some of the Professors at Hogwarts and most members of the ministry of magic. Niles was a bit disappointed, turns out, most Wizards aren't actually retarded idiots but just racists bigots. Which meant a problem for Niles 's plans for the future.

While on their way to the platform, Niles saw a bunch of witches and wizards hurrying about wearing odd cloths and holding trunks of a variety of sizes. The thing that bothered him though, was not the comments and complaints about muggles. But the stares of the wizards when he walked with his father, both had intense auras of dominance, auras that only dragons had, coming from their magical cores.

"Our hero, our hero, claims a warrior's heart I tell you, I tell you, the Dragonborn comes" Muttered Niles with a gentle voice. His father, walking alongside him, raised an eyebrow at him. Thinking Niles was acting weird because today was the day he left for Hogwarts, his father didn't ask him anything and quietly guided him to the train.

When they finally arrived in front of the old express train, Niles waved a soft goodbye to his father with a gentle smile. His father though, saw through the boy's act, he was after all a Director of Magic for a good reason, not some muggle psychologist.

"What happened to him? He's like a different person." thought his father as he left the platform.

As Niles was about to head onto the train he heard something familiar.

"Wow, it's huge!" looking behind him, Niles saw someone familiar, with uncontrollably long manes of brown hair and crystal-clear brown eyes. A young Emma Waston was standing behind him.

With a small smirk, Niles thought "She'll be victim number one" and continued onto the train to find a compartment.

After finding an empty compartment in the long halls of the express and sitting down on the left of it, Niles took out a book on charms for first years, surprisingly thanks to the boy's memories, Niles already knew the content.

After a few minutes of reading, Niles heard a knocked on the door of the closed compartment and then proceeded to open it.

"Uhm… Excuse me, but can I sit here? The rest are full already?" Said a boy behind the door, Niles looked him up and down while catching the twitch of the boy's left eye. The boy who asked, was a very thin boy, clearly malnourished with savage black hair and wore broken glasses held with tape.

"Ah, victim number two." Thought Niles.
