11 Chapter 11

Observing Ogiwara's pressure and limited options against Aomine's defense, I quickly assess the situation. I sprint towards the three-point line, creating space and signaling for a pass.

Recognizing the situation, Ogiwara demonstrates excellent court vision by finding me with a precise pass. I position myself and prepare to contribute.

I secure the ball despite Kise guarding me, remaining focused and determined. But just as I am about to make my move, Kise's audacious remark interrupts me.

"Give up, dude. You can't beat us," he mocks, with a smug smile. His words linger, testing my grit and strength. But instead of letting him bring me down, his comment only motivates me more. It fuels the fire inside me.

I dribble the ball slowly, carefully observing the court while taking note of Teiko's defensive strategy. I notice that Murasakibara is the only player guarding the paint, while the rest of their team is focused on their defensive assignments.

Recognizing an opportunity, I signal to my teammates for an isolation play. Some of them may initially doubt my decision, but they still create space for me by spreading out on the court.

Keeping my eyes on Kise Ryota's defensive position, I notice that he is leaning towards the right side. This prompts me to swiftly burst past him, capitalizing on his positioning, as I make my way towards his left.

Caught off guard by my sudden burst of speed, Kise was unable to react in time as I swiftly maneuvered around him.

Realizing that I was now open, without hesitation, I took a shot from midrange and successfully made it, bringing the score to 9-75 with us trailing.

After the shoot, I looked at Kise Ryota's surprised expression. "Don't think you can easily win this game," I said to him with a determined face.

"Hoh, is that a challenge I'm hearing?" Kise Ryota replied, unfazed by my score. "Celebrate now because that will be the last time you score," he added.

The game continues, this time we are on defense as Teiko takes the offense.

Akashi Seijuro dribbles the ball slowly to the half-court, not in a rush, surveying the court. He sees that Kise is asking for the ball, his determined face indicating that he wants to get back at me for scoring on him.

As the point guard and captain of the team, Akashi acquiesces to his teammate's demand and passes him the ball.

Kise Ryota gently catches the ball as he faces my defense. "You know, it's good that you scored. That way, the game is at least not so boring," he smugly says.

"With your team barely scoring, I almost forgot that we were in a championship game," he adds.

As he trash-talks me, I don't bother replying. I'm focused on the game and defending him.

Seeing that I have no intention of replying to him, Kise Ryota just pouts. "Boring, not even a reply?"

Noticing that I have no intention of replying to him, he puts the ball in his right hand and slowly dribbles.
