23 22- Ousai Vs Yanagi 2

Hiruma entered the court and looked around, the match continued with the ball possession in the Ousai, Sora dribbled the ball forward but this time his pace was much slower than earlier, Tanaka told them to rest after all.

Sora searched for a player to pass but he noticed Hiruma raising his hand and calling for a pass, Sora didn't think twice and immediately bounced passed the ball towards Hiruma who was at the paint.

Hiruma caught the ball and sized up his defender who was Sendoh, Hiruma dribbled the ball and did a crossover then coupled with a spin and a sudden step back, this caught Sendoh off guard and he almost slipped on the ground but he still regained his balance but he noticed Hiruma was already shooting the ball.

He tried to go for the black or mess up with Hiruma's shooting but it was too late, the space between them is far too big and Sendoh could not catch up in time.

*Swoosh!

The ball touched nothing but the net and Ousai earning themselves another point, Sendoh then glanced at Hiruma, from the videos he watched from their matches, Hiruma will smirk at the player after the successful shot to rile the player up.

But Hiruma didn't do it, he just turned his back away and walked without glancing back, this confused Sendoh but the match still continued.

Sendoh dribbled forward and looked at his teammates he then decided to pass it to the SF who was beside him to do a quick crossover but before he even got to pass the ball a hand smacked it away from his grasp and caught the ball.

Hiruma ran forward but Sendoh reacted fast and his speed was also faster than Hiruma, he easily caught up to Hiruma and tried to intercept him, when they were close to the rim, Hiruma went for the jump and Sendoh also jumped for the block.

The ball flew into the air and Sendoh found the ark of the ball was too high for a lay-up, that's when he noticed Asahi close to them and ran past by them and went for the jump for the ball, he caught the ball in mid-air and did a follow-up shot, giving the Ousai another 2 point lead.

"That's okay Sendoh, let's continue," Aone said and passed the ball.

"Yes," Sendoh nodded and caught the ball, he dribbled the ball forward while being wary of Hiruma who was standing in front of him, Sendoh dribbled the ball forward and made a simple crossover and passed the ball to Aone who caught the ball and passed it to Eikichi.

Eikichi caught the ball and did a fadeaway shot giving them a score, it was a fast-paced game but the Ousai didn't go along with them, this caused them to relax a little bit, Sora leisurely dribbled the ball forward and then did a fake pass to the right then he passed it to the left where Asahi was.

Asahi was about to catch the ball when a hand came in the middle of them and caught the ball, Asahi saw it was Hiruma and they made eye contact with each other, Asahi immediately received the message, Asahi left his dumbfounded guard and rushed towards the paint.

Meanwhile, Hiruma who caught the ball stopped in his tracks, and while in the motion of catching the ball, he immediately turned his body and swung his hand that was holding the ball.

The ball flew at a very fast speed and was met with Asahi who ran into the paint, Asahi caught the ball and did a simple catch and shoot.

The ball went in giving Ousai another score, the match continued with how the game was going but one thing that Yanagi Coach noticed is that his members were getting very tired, while Ousai was recovering, he then turned his attention to HIruma who caused all of this.

Ousai wanted to go for a slower-paced game but with Hirruma's unpredictable play, the slow pace will immediately become fast and this will cause the Yanagi players who became relaxed because of the slow pace will be surprised and unable to react fast because of the sudden change of pace.

In the end, the 1st quarter ended with Ousai having a 30 point lead, and Hiruma scoring almost most of it, the Yanagi coach clicked his tongue, "Such talented players going to a new school, if they have gone to us they would have become more talented and trained" he said then looking at his team.

"We will go with plan A since that kid is surely going to enter the second quarter, get ready" Yanagi coached said.

"Yes!"

At the bench of Ousai0, everyone had already rested while Hiruma was sitting on the bench with a towel covering his head, his breathing was stable but Tanaka could see something else, "I will not enter the second quarter, let Hiruma play as much as he like, this is his moment right now, is that fine?" Mark asked with a smile.

"Keke, better than ever" Hiruma pulled the towel covering his hand and replied with a smile.

Hiruma was strangely pumped up right now, his adrenaline was all-time high and he felt like he hasn't had enough playing, 'My moment huh?' he thought then entered the court as the second quarter started.

The Yanagi coach was surprised to see Tanaka sitting on the bench while Hiruma entered the court, he felt something is wrong, why did the most talented among the Ousai did not enter the game? did he have an injury or ... the coach turned his head to Hiruma.

The ball was in Ousai's possession and Sora was dribbling the ball forward, since he had enough rest, he dribbled the ball forward and met up with his defender, Sora did a crossover and did a spin the defender moved in the direction where Sora was going to spin but halfway through Sora stopped his spin and did a behind the back dribbled which caught the defender off guard.

But just as he got passed by his defender another one came from behind the defender and was about to go for the steal, this caught Sora off guard but just as the ball was about to be smacked out of his hand, Hiruma came from his side and grabbed the ball away from Sora's hand.

"What the?" both Sora and the defender were caught off guard, Hiruma ignored them and immediately dashed towards the post and he was met with Eikichi who went for the block, Hiruma and Eikichi jumped at the same time and Eikichi was sure he will block Hiruma but he noticed the ball was not in Hiruma's hands.

*Swoosh!

*Boom!

Akagi who was behind went for the jump and dunked the ball!
